This post is aimed at eliminating religious fears associated with ancient doctrines and creed through knowledge.

The key fact that will help us to understand Daniels prophecies is that, Every Civilisations, culture and traditions comes with their religion.

The Babylonian empire and traditions of that era had their idols and gods they worshipped and that was religion.
One key ordinances they practiced in accordance to their idolatry beliefs was eating the left over food of the sacrifices which the King Nebucadnezar served the people.

Daniel 1:15 And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king's meat.

So, Shadrach, Mishach and Abednego refused to eat the portion of the kings meat or food, because they belong to a separate religion(which was Judaism) that was different from the idolatry religion of the Babylonian Empire, and because the king's meat was served in accordance to idolatry religious ordinances of the Babylonian empire, not in accordance to the Jewish God(The almighty God)

Please mark the difference in religion, and also mark that there was no Christianity at that time.

Having known why Shadrach, Mishach and Abednego had refused the king's meat that it was strictly because of religious concerns, it follows that the only problem God had against Nebucadnezar was for him to change his religion, Hence, Daniel prophesied doom against his reign.

Now, let's look at the word REIGN.

I have just said that every civilisations comes with their religion. This also implies that if a civilization reigns over the world just like the Babylonian empire did in the time of Daniel, then before God, it is the religion of the empire or the religion that comes with such civilisation that is actually what is reigning over the world.

what God is looking at is religion. Hebrews 11:6

So, when God put an end to the reign of Nebucadnezar and the Babylonian empire he was actually putting an end to the reign of the Babylonian religion at that time that was reigning and dominating over other religions of the the world.

So, how does this apply?
let's look at other Daniel's prophecies.

Daniel 7:3 And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another.

These four great beasts in this Daniels vision represents four great religions that will rule the world before the coming of Christ(the coming of Christianity)

Remember, I said there was no Christianity at that time.

Now, let's go to the book of Revelation to see how this apply.

Revelation 13:3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

the beast here represent a dominant religion that all the world worshipped.
Some call it mark of the beast, it's still the same thing, it's simply religion or a means of worship to another god and not the god of Christianity.

A lot of doctrines and concepts have put people into fear that, this mark of the beast is one imaginary Antichrist that will come and terrorize people at end time.

Hear the truth about what Daniel referred to as end time

Acts 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days(end time), saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

So, end time according to Daniel was actually the time of crucifixion and resurrection of Christ after which believers were given the power to prophesy and see visions and dreams.

In order words, there is no last day or end time.

But having said the beast represent religions, today religions are everywhere. Therefore there are no points to be afraid of any literal beast or mark 666 or end of world which will never happen.

Just live your life and be free.

THE BIGGEST CONFUSION HERE IS THAT, MANY CHRISTIANS TODAY THINK JESUS INCLUDED THEM WHEN HE TOLD HIS DISCIPLES "YOU" (In the statement YOU will hear of wars and rumours of wars)
NOT MINDING THAT THE TIME OF THESE DISCIPLES JESUS WAS TALKING TO, WHO ACTUALLY HEARD AND SAW THE RUMOURS OF WARS, HAVE PASS.
AND THAT THEY TODAY CHRISTIANS, ARE LIVING IN TODAY, AND THE "YOU" USED BY JESUS WAS SPECIFICALLY FOR THE DISCIPLES OF THAT TIME, NOT YOU WHO IS LIVING NOW OR TODAY ANYMORE, OR ANY OTHER TIME IN OUR FUTURE.

Only intelligent mind will understand this.

This is the reason why, people that pay tithe and offerings feels that they are getting help from God because they are paying. In the real sense, it is not God that is helping them, it is the people that are seeing what they are doing that is helping them

All holiness preachers down the ages condemned the use of jewelries by Christians. The Protestant churches rejected it's uses, calling it "idolatry". Martin Luther wrote against it, John Hus, Wycliffe, John Wesley and George Whitefield rejected the use of jewelries by true believers.
If you read 1 Peter 3:3, Saint Peter explained it perfectly "...not with gold!" Gold represents all jewelries, including wedding rings. Paul speaking expressly with the same spirit with Peter condemned it also in his Epistle to Timothy (I Timothy 2:9).
Timothy as a Bishop must teach this truth, he must condemn the use of jewelries of all kind, including all precious stones and pearls. Paul wrote to him for him to know the best godly adornment benefiting to godly women. Peter also wrote "not with plaiting of hair, not with gold..." That's their outward adornments should not be characterized by all these heathenish materials...
Some Christians, so-called said "it is a personal conviction".
Now, is it a personal conviction? No! Whatsoever that is found written in the Bible is or are for our good and Christian perfection. Those who said "it is a personal conviction" are in the wrong spirit. They are heretical.
All holiness preachers condemned it's use. The early Methodist members never wear jewelries, John Wesley stood against it! He called it an idolatry and no idolaters have any lot nor part in the kingdom of God. John Wesley never taught his people only on the inward holiness of heart, he also warned them to be careful in the way they dress, avoiding the use of gold and makeups for beauty.
In fact, Old Anglican Church never wear it. They rejected! The use of any kind of jewelries, pays eternal doom in hell fire. Any Bishop who wears it as Bishop ring, necklace and bangles, will never see God!
The first woman never wear jewelries, Eve never wear earrings. She was natural as God made her, who then are you that is wearing it!
Hell is the portion of all women who wears it, believe it or not, the last day will justify this post! On that day of judgment John Wesley will reject the present Methodists for rejecting his Holiness tradition to worldliness.
Accept this truth, inform your Bishop, tell your Pastors, warn your congregations to repent from wearing it, because hell will not spare them.
Throw those evils away, cleanse yourself! Be holy

the lake of fire is a figurative language which simply means to die forever and not to resurrect thereafter.
It is the second death.

The first death(the usual death we see people dying in real life) allows for resurrection in the spirit realm. At that point, everyone will face judgement.
But after the judgement, the bible records that there will be a second death for those whose names were not found in the book, that one is die and go forever, no resurrection, nothing like fire burning people

A popular saying states that charity begins at home, so it is quite reasonable to consider members of our immediate family first, especially our spouse and kids, then we can consider other people when there are enough to share, cos we can't do beyond ourselves, So, the first person to love is yourself.

In times like this, we encourage spouses to spend quality time with each other and renew their vows of commitment to their union.

Love constitute the larger solution to all human problems and it is far greater than miracles.

I addition to the great things he did, we also read in the bible that he put forth a great prophecy in one of his parables that will last forever, This prophecy has come to pass as we see it today.

Matthew 13:31 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying,The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field:
Matthew 13:32 Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.

The kingdom of heaven is Christianity on earth.
Christianity was the least of all faiths started like a mustard seed(Tiny seed) with just only 120 people(Act 1:15)
Today after approx.2000 years, that 120 people have grown to billions of believers worldwide.

The question is : How did Jesus happens to know that this trended was going to occur? (a question for the atheists and every other antagonists)
