That is a dictatorship not freewill

You beat up traders who open their stores my man let's be real

Keep telling yourself that.
Biafra is an ideology every Igbo father initiates the Sons and daughters into.
We all have pictures of lost uncles, aunts, grandparents, etc who that war claimed in our homes. You are mad if you think such can be forgotten especially considering how Nigeria has turned out to be a public disgrace and a failed experiment.

many of u are comedians n u don't understand the complex nature of Nigerian government so u think break up will happen just like that, bro it's just a pipe dream n a wild goose chase.

Go n read n have better exposure about how things are done,if only u know catastrophic chaos can happen where many will lose n still there won't be break up.

many of u just base your life n realities on wishful thinking

Nigeria will break up one way or the other.
It will crumble under the weight of its fraudulent existence.

The only wishful thinkers here are you Nigerians thinking a good way to make an Igbo accept your dead country is by threat of war and violence. Well, it will not work, its like trying to use petrol to quench a fire.

Nigeria is not stronger than countries like USSR and Yugoslavia that broke up into pieces. Get a grip of yourselves.

see I have never experienced war b4 n I don't pray to experience it but I have see gory pictures of war.if u have ever been caught up in a cult war b4 I know u won't pray for real war cos even non cultist live in fear n everywhere is dangerous.

during my school days, one of my course mate had a soldier bro who came back from peace keeping mission n he brought his camera to us.if u see half of what we saw there I know u will never seek revenge through war,a situation whereby heads n different corpses are littered everywhere n nobody cares, they keep moving.
human parts are regular things n birds eating corpses aren't any big deal,so do u think u can pray for war if u see more of that.

Another soldier we were close to during service told us some of his experiences in Cameroon n I was shocked, till today d man no dey chop meat cos of wetin he don see n many of u keypad warriors are screaming war as if it's like d normal film where actors will always have nine lives.

though I am really not comfortable with what is happening in Nigeria but I don't pray for war.

many of u praying for war can't even stand a typical agbero on d street not to talk of soldiers trained for war n always ready to kill

I don't know what you are talking about. Ndiigbo have seen war. You Nigerians cannot use threat of war to make Ndiigbo drop agitation for Biafra. My father was a Biafran soldier. Went to the war with his elder brother who died in the war, we still have his enlarged picture in our House.

My father remains a proud Biafran and is first to support any Biafran effort. He raised us 6 boys to be patriotic to Biafra and never to fail to represent Biafra.

Please keep your opinion to yourself. You will not use threat of war to make an Igbo not to want Biafra. Infact you will only arouse the need to demand for Biafra harder from him.

The loyalty of my grandfather was to Biafra, likewise that of my father and mine too, it will be passed down to my children too. Wanting Biafra can never mean wanting war. Unity can never be by force.

If only they know the lesson those pictures teach us.

By God's grace,Nigeria must divide in my life time.even if is a day i enjoy biafra and die am ok.

The whole idea is to invoke fear in us and make us drop Biafra and embrace a dead country that massacred our people.
If only they know that all they do is evoke more hate for Nigeria and need to exact REVENGE from Nigeria for their atrocities on us, they would stop already.

This is not the aim and maybe you should ask yourself why these pictures would make you feel hate and not regret and more determined never to see another war

The pictures only shows me what our enemies are capable of, what they had done in the past, what they are planning to do in the future, and why we must fight tooth and nail to raise a national boundary between us and them to keep their hate at bay.
The only regret this picture evokes in an Igbo, is the regret that we have not been able to make those who put us through those experiences pay for it, we have not been be able to exact our own pound of flesh.

Seeing those pics reminds us why We MUST work harder to put ourselves in a position where those who brought such sufferings to our parents, and now dance on their graves, are made to feel a potent dose of their own poison.

That's the only regret these pics evokes in an Igbo. Its a strong feeling of need for REVENGE, to GET EVEN!

All pictures like this does is to reinforce in the mind of Ndiigbo why republic of Igbo land must be established, lest the sacrifices of our fathers be in vain.
It also increases the hate we have for Nigeria and those enforcing fake citizenry on us.

OP. I don't know your aim of sharing those pics, but the above is only what you will achieve with them.

Igbos in Sierra Leone in the 1700s/1800s

Sierra-Leone, especially Freetown had a lot of African migrants and freed slaves or recent migrants who could still tell where they were from.

There were a lot of people from present-day Nigeria who were in Sierra Leone. Yorubas/Yoruba/Yobah (They were called Akoos in Freetown), Igbos, Hausas and others.

I will upload some accounts from different sources. of the Igbos in Sierra-Leone.

1. Robert Clarke in his book documentation for the ethnological Society of London.

Here, Clarke, represented the Igbos living in Sierra-leone with a group of Igbos in those days known as Ebreches/breches (I guess the practice to him was absurd). I think this is practised amongst the Isuama people and usually for the wealthy or royalty... (Baikie, talked about this practice and had more accurate information regarding the phenomena and people but he found that this is not a subgroup but a wealthy class of Igbos).

cc. Pazienza, Abgworo, ChinenyeN, what do you know about these group of Igbos? Breches? Ebreches? Clarke, had a portrait/drawing of an Ebretche/breche Igbo.

He noted that the Igbos were very wealthy and successful in Sierra-leone... No be today Igbo people start to dey business

Its the Mgburuichi or Mgbirichi.

There is a single non Igbo group in Ebonyi called Kele/Ukuelle people.
They are found in three towns of Effium, Ntezi and Okpoto.
Everyone knows they are not Igbo and no Igbo claims them. The Igbo find it difficult to accept any people we can't understand their first language.

They make up atmost 1℅ of Ebonyi population.

Yet these cantankerous people who can not understand themselves or speak igbo in their Ohaneze meetings are so obsessed with Ijawland esp Pazienza and Abagworo.

Any Ogbia man that speaks Izon learnt it.

Ogbia language is Cross riverian, and has no link whatsoever to Izon.

Ebonyi, Enugu, and co don't speak the same language.
Where is your proof?

The major Igbo groups in Ebonyi are Ezza, Izzi, Ikwo , Ngbo, Ehugbo, and they all speak dialects of Igbo.

The only non Igbo town in Enugu is Etteh at the boundary of Enugu and Kogi. And even in Ette, the indigenes are tri ethnic, they have Idomas, Igala and Igbo speaking indigenes.

His ancestors wandered into Igbo land and became acculturated into speaking Igbo as FIRST LANGUAGE.
So yes, he is Igbo. He is an Igwe and not an Attah. Any day he is tired of being Igbo, he will pack his things and relocate to Iddah.

This is how it is for all ethnic groups. There are always outsiders in their midst, but they re usually well acculturated both in names and first language.

Ijaw is a fraudulent political franchise and not an ethnic group or a language group.

Stupidity at its peak from an ignorance relishing fellow.

Find the location of your igbo language around benue-congo.

We are not your mates, Ijo language is far older than igbo language.

What is the above supposed to mean?

There is nothing like Ijaw language

This is Ogbia. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ogbia_language

It is a full blown language of its own with its dialects, and classified under Cross River language group where Ibibio, Efik, Annang, etc belong.
But Ogbia and her famous son GEJ are supposed to be Ijaws. Does this make sense to you?

This is Engenni.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Engenni_language

It is a full blown language of its own that belongs to the Edoid family of the original YEAI language group of aboriginals of Southern Nigeria.
Yet Engenni is supposed to be Ijaws.

This is Andoni/Obolo.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Obolo_language

A cross River language group related to Ibibio. Yet they are supposed to be Ijaws.

This is Epie
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epie_language

Another Edoid language.
Yet Epie is supposed to be Ijaws.

This is Degema. Edoid people speaking Edoid language.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Degema_language

They were independent group in Eastern region days.
But now, they are a member of the expanding Ijaw franchise.

Now this is Izon languagehttps://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Izon_language

The original language that belongs to groups in Delta,Bayelsa that has fraudulently become distorted to a Franchise called Izon which has continued to expand to incorporate unrelated small ethnic groups around them, all driven by crude oil politics of Nigeria.

What is wrong in putting them in one plate, pazienza?
Happy New year to you.

Putting soup and swallow in same plate to an Igbo doesn't look "tidy".

No well rooted Igbo man will do that. Igbo parents will rebuke the devil out of you if you try it at home , because to us, it looks unpleasant to the eyes and a mark of someone who is not neat.

My mother use to rebuke me when I ate soup and have the soup stain the swallow. She calls it " Nni mpito" (food eyesore) and this was with swallow and soup separated. You can imagine what the whole idea of having the swallow and Soup in same plate will look like to her. In traditional Igbo setting, you are expected to eat soup and swallow in different plates and you are expected to ensure you don't leave soup stains on the swallow so that if you couldn't finish it, someone else could still eat it without feeling nauseated by the sight of it.

NB: I am in no way judging groups who put swallow and soup on same plate. I'm merely explaining traditional Igbo world view of such act.

After all the enlightenment you've got from us all these years, you still choose to be this narrowminded and petty, grabbing on such worthless straws (like a sinking man) from years ago that even Kiwi who wrote this would be ashamed of by now.

How low can you possibly sink?

You are only reaffirming what we are saying.
Current Ijaw is but a new and expanding Franchise.
Little wonder a real Kalabari man who left Nigeria eons ago before Kalabari joined the franchise is struggling to accept the Franchise. He is obviously not politically in tune with his people back home. He is only maintaining the cultural stance, which is that Kalabari has always been an independent ethnic nationality from Izon. cool

You must be a very criminal element Pazienza just like your ancestrally disjointed Igbo fraudulent franchise. Oron chapter of IYC is a SPECIAL CHAPTER (just like Abuja and Lagos chapters) necessitated by the heavy presence of Andoni-Ijaws in that area, not because Oron are Ijaw. Oron may have close neighbourly ties with Andoni but they are not of Ijaw ancestry hence can not be Ijaws.

We are not like the your båstard franchise without ancestry formed by colonization and assimilation of territories of unsuspecting ethnic group by rabid migrant population.

You can not compare the ceremony in Oron which was attended by STRICTLY ANDONI/OBOLO-IJAW youths with the inauguration of NDOKI CHAPTER (not special chapter) which was attended by ALL NDOKI TRADITIONAL RULERS who stressed their Ijaw ancestry.

Like Ikwerre, Ndoki Ijaws have broken the stranglehold of your diabolic assimilation agenda of non-igbos territories into your fraudulent igbo franchise.

Very soon Igala, Ibibio and Idoma will be coming for their territories fraudulently claimed by igbos.

On the Oron chapter of INC, that's not what my Ijaw sources say. But let's leave it for now, time will sort everything out.

On Ndoki. Here is the most important political figure in Ndoki land speaking about Igbo Presidency, notice his use of "We" to address his people Ndiigbo.

The original Izon stock is of same phenotypic features as Ghanaians.

A DNA test would establish link between Izon and Ghana and the European porters theory sounds rational.

Izon language has no Link whatsoever to the YEAII (Yoruba, Edo,Akoko,Igbo,Igala) and Cross River language cluster of the original inhabitants of Southern Nigeria.

Izon is an anomaly, an external intrusion. A Good DNA analysis of the original Izon would establish this theory.

There are certain things that need not rocket science to decide. "Ahia Waebule" was established before 13th century and founder of Bonny was an Igbo man that moved from Ndoki to Bonny in 13th century. The recent attempts at distorting clear truth only makes the revisionists look stupid to the academic world.

Ijaw itself has been claimed by a Nairalander in earlier days to be porters that escorted white men to Benin around 14th century probably picked up from Ghana and taught how to sail canoes by the Portuguese. Logically writing the migratory pattern of most Ijaw groups points to Benin and typical Ijaw dressing is a canterfeit of Scott attire of old. If thourough investigation is done 80% of those called Ijaw today have DNA of Igbo, Edo or Ibibio. The pure Ijaws are very dark and also share phenotype with dark Ghanaian tribes.

What happened to you bro. Since Rochas left Douglas House, you became scarce here. Almost like Beaf disappeared after GEJ won 2011 election.

Senator Obi Wali could never have said he was Igbo. Remember, that Senator Obi Wali was among the pioneer members of Ogbakor Ikwerre in 1963. Being Igbo is not a dent. It is a thing of pride being an Igbo person. So do not force it on anyone.
Let me also tell you this, Ikwerre accepts just as Igbos do to claim lineage based on where either of ones parents come from. You could claim Igbo (it is acceptable) if your dad is Ikwerre and mum Igbo. Igbos would welcome such person same way Ikwerres would welcome same.
There is one problem people like you like fanning.
I am happy I am related to the Igbo people. But calling me an Igbo person that is where you missed it. Right from time even when the Igbos were everything and had power then in Eastern Nigeria, Ikwerre people never accpted to be Igbo.
Permit me to educate you further. Some Ikwerres as well would not find it difficult saying they are Igbos. and why? Some Igbos have naturalised in Ikwerre land. We call them the Aros. They are in Elele and Isiokpo mostly. They could not find their ways back to Igbo land. We had no option but to accept them. These set of people and their offspring dont hesitate in saying they are Igbos. Any Ikwerre person that tells you he is Igbo check his background. He is likely an Aro descendant.

I'm not aware that Obi Wali ever denounced being Igbo.
In 1963, Ogbakor Ikwerre was no different from Oha Ngwa, Nzuko Arochukwu, Orlu Union, etc.
Every Igbo clan had their individual organization outside Igbo Union before the war, why should Ikwerre be any different?

One day we will get to know the real reason Obi Wali was murdered, time reveals every hidden thing.
Obi wali family in Ikwerreland like Ogbuehi Francis Ellah family in Ogba have continued to refuse to toe the path of Igbo denial just like their parents did.

Even though I remain firmly Ikwerrephobic and believe that every single Ikwerre man in Ohaneze Ndiigbo or any other Igbo gathering should be expelled and disgraced out .
But deep in me, my heart goes out to families like Obi walis and Francis Ellahs in Ikwerre and Ogba. I wonder what would become of them if we shut them off.
It would be cruel I believe. But Igbophobes like you make it increasingly tempting not to consider the plight of these proud Igbo families there.
