I'm not saying there'r no youths....I mean people best classified as ''post higher institution'' youth. Do you know that any body above 25 is not supposed to be in CYON.

How many of such age range you see in yr parish alone?

Depends on where the Parish is. That age group is found in cities, so check city Parishes. If you see the number that attend catholic chaplaincies in the higher institutions, they don't just vanish upon graduation.

Many smokers have quit and people are still quitting smoking permanently. It's not an impossible task, but it depends on the one smoking. If he promises to quit, why not make him work on it and keep to it. If you're sure that he's a nice person just as you stated, then focus on this small irritation and see if you can stop it. Don't think too much about relapse, a lot of things can go negative in humans in future. This aside, do not manage at this stage,If you're not into him and you know why, just quit. Else,he has to really stop. Put your foot down.

As promised, Fada Kristimas is here today. He is pleased with the updates from babestell, so via here or via Syncan pm, send any phone number of your choice (your brother maybe) cheesy and it's network, it will be recharged with a 1k airtime.

Fada Kristimas will need the brethren to recommend a good song for babestell, I know she has the capability of finding and listening to each, any body she chooses his or her own by the end of the day,as the one she loved and played repeatedly will get a 1k free airtime.

So start sending in your songs and the artist.

A splendid day ahead to all.

My song to babestell is - give them up to Jesus by Christy Lane.

No sir. I am looking at the 2.5kva you recommended, and I already have a load of 1.4kva from my inverter that has to charge its 2 deep cycle batteries. If i add other appliances wont it be too much for the generator?

I appreciate your prompt response sir, God bless you. Just for confirmation, my inverter as stated above is rated 1.4kva, is the remaining 1.1kva not too small for the other items listed?

Thanks.

GoodFaith:

One room you need two bricklayers and one server for the walls
Just inside the building
so for 5 bedroom you need total of 10 bricklayers and 5 servers
Living and dinning room four bricklayers and two servers
You have the hallway and kitchen let us put four bricklayers and two servers
Total bricklayer is now 18 and servers 9 servers
If Bricklayer is N3000 a day
Servers is N2000 a day
Total for bricklayers N54,000
total for Server is N18,000
Total to plastering five bedrooms and one living and dinning is N72,000

I like the idea inherent in this calculation. But its not total since you stated clearly that this is for "inside the building" only. One need to consider the exterior now to get a total for your average duplex, I guess.

u can't see 7.5 any more u can only 9.0hp which is 3.5kva

Hello Prof, thanks for the good job you do here.

I need your advice on the gen spec to buy. I have to power a home that has the following:

1hp sump pump

1.4kva sukam inverter
1 deep freezer
1 fridge
46" LED TV
decoder
home theater
lighting points for 4 bedroom
gate security lights
5 ceiling fans

I don't intend using it for sumo pump and freezer or fridge at same time. Please what will be the most comfortable rating and make of generator for me in your opinion.

Thanks.

It is not hard to tell a self-righteous person. They use scripture to oppose scripture.

Person A explains why righteousness is by faith alone referencing the Bible.

Funny, Person B just walks in and quotes james: "faith without works is dead" and goes away. LOL
Anyone with a brain will know where Person B is going with that. If truly he isn't trying to play "righteous" and has a clear conscience, he would explain himself. No one can see his heart but God, we would need him to do better than dropping scriptures that seem to contradict what Person A is saying. Simple!

It's alright. Just so you know, there's nothing wrong with pointing someone to any scripture passage, same way there's nothing wrong in asking someone politely to explain his or herself before drawing inference. I'll try my best to remind myself that threads created by you are not up for discussions next time.

It's so sad that you fit the definition of a law keeping Pharisaical Christian.

Why do you want to glory before God by all means? Is it possible to work something yourself and give God the glory? Don't deceive yourself it is not possible!

In as much as the Christian has a responsibility or responsibilities, he is not to rely on his "strength or ability" (which are weaknesses anyway). It is by grace through faith that he must be preserved. This is the SPIRIT-WALKING the Bible is talking of.

Christianity is not a "play your part and God plays His" The Christian must trust in God completely to live or do anything. He cannot do anything including subjecting his body except SOLELY BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH. Any other means or addition is WALKING IN THE FLESH.

and in case you have tried letting go of your "strength" to rely on the grace of God and still have no experience of this power over sin, it means it's time to examine yourself to see if Christ is truly inside of you!!!

Because if Christ(the embodiment of grace) is inside of you, you WILL NOT CONTINUE IN SIN.

Galatians 3:1-14
O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?
This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?
Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain.
He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.
Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.
So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.
For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident:for, The just shall live by faith.
And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Romans 12:3
For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

1Corinthians 15:10
But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Ephesians 3:7
Of which I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.

Exactly why I didn't reply to the other empty vessel that quoted me above. I was actually thinking we are two anonymous individuals having scripture in common, and willing to enter a chat of fraternal expose' on scripture. Go back to my Posts, how many sentences in them have been mine? They have mostly been quotes from scripture, yet look at how disturbed you have been, see how I have been profiled already, and called names. You simply Jump into conclusion of who I am or what I have in mind, then this your conclusion being different from your held unto belief now nullifies even the scriptures I quote, while I on my part was able to Identify and agree with something in your post. It's funny when Christians behave like those they seek to convert and still feel superior. Let me speak no more, what does a law keeping Pharisaic Christian have to offer to the mouth piece of the Holy Spirit?

Shallom.

I beg to disagree with you sir.
If you visit university hostels and halls of residences then you won't say that prisons are horrible.
If you have ever been to some government owned hospitals you will know that they are not different from concentration camps.
The only issue here is that he may not be able to aspire to any political position because he's a convict but even that can be fixed. If he nurtures the money well and makes returns he can still erase his criminal records. We have most of them in government today.
So, for me, this guy is very smart. I envy him.

Hahahaha, don't compare sleep with death please. No one takes your human dignity and throw into the gutters in your hostels, no one can make you a sex slave in your hostels. Remember I said if the other guy is determined, very easy to poison you, very easy to paralyze you in there and no one will bat an eyelid.

"Work out your salvation" is so different from "Work for your salvation".
To "work out" means to bear fruits of salvation. But still yet, it isn't you that bears fruits but God.

There are two things in the Bible that are both true. Our responsibility and God's grace and will.

For example, we were all commanded to obey the gospel but not all of us will. That's why we would each give account in the last day.

Those who obey have no power to obey of themselves but by grace through faith and by the Sovereign will of God, they obey and are saved. It is in the same line, that they are asked to "work out" their salvation but not forgetting the other truth, which is that God is the one who works in them to will and to do.

The emboldened is very true, always keep it in sight. Then consider...

"But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway". 1Cor.9:27

Should he be looking at it only on the financial gain, then he is wrong. Nigerian jail can be horrible for him if the person he stole from is determined, his life isn't secured...nor his good health at least.

Not exactly what I expected to hear, however it already told me a lot. Why is your age important? It helps to know how serious to take the relationship, that helps to determine how grave the supposed infraction is. Why is this so? because you are a guy, not all guys at certain age brackets even remember their birthday, to talk of making it a big deal. Some purposely forget to remember and wish she doesn't too...for some reasons obvious to a number of guys in Naija. However bro, whatever rocks your boat do it.

Forget propaganda neither anambra nor any other state would be able to work with the financial trouble in the country without incurring debt unless the state is not doing anything

If you really want my take on this, then I will tell you that in this case; Impossibility is nothing. If the last admin in same state left a debt profile, nobody would have believed that you can actually leave a positive balance sheet in any state in Nigeria. It was never done before then, and it wasn't as if the last admin did poorer than those states that left a debt profile. The earlier we refuse to settle for less and push our leaders for excellence, the better for us all.
