OBJ is now openly supporting Obi.

But will his endorsement spell doom for the Obi campaign?

Unless a miracle happen in Ife East and North, it's a done deal for PDP. They currently have a margin of over 25k votes.
Wow

So, we now know the presidential election will be fiercely competitive in at least half of the SW states (Osun, Ekiti, Oyo).

As expected the APC and PDP are way ahead of the others in the Osun guber election.

It was definitely too late for Labour to make any significant inroads in the Ekiti and Osun elections within 2 months, as evidenced by the fact that Labour Party had no agents in 70% of the Osun polling units.
But, don’t discount them in next year’s elections cos the party would have had more time to strategize and get themselves organized.

I think so too. She has been clutch so far (albeit 2 of the 3 games were against minnows)

The keys to a Super Falcons victory on Monday would be accurate passing (especially under no pressure), not conceding unnecessary free kicks near the box, and controlling the midfield.

For real, I’ve been impressed by the set-pieces from a Morocco, Botswana, and Zambia. I wouldn’t mind if some of those players became Nigerian…

85% of their free kicks/corners are threatening to opposing defenses, yet our SE and SF are still struggling in that area. Smh

The kick off times are in US Pacific time

I'm guessing you included Canada to make 3 teams right. Then post AWCON was probably not the best expression
Nope. I meant “three friendly matches” against top 10 teams. I should have been a lil more specific

Which is the 3rd team?
Japan is the other team. The SF will square up in a single match vs Japan

Confirmed!
Super Falcons v USA friendly. So far, the team has 3 friendly matches against top 10 teams post WAFCON..

I’ve watched snippets of the Euros, and I must say the Super Falcons have some way to go before being a genuine threat at the WC..

The confidence in possession and accuracy of most of the passes is something that is still a struggle for the SF

No Toni Payne?
Please remove Okobi from the line up. She offers very little value in this setup
Plumptre is the better crosser, and her strength will be needed against a physical Cameroon side.

I know Okobi has yet to hit the heights she set in 2014/15, but her ability to keep possession would be useful during the last few mins of the game if the SF are in a winning position

I don't think Biden's ratings will have anything to do with midterms it will strictly come down to states and voting patterns, if you look at the Pennsylvania Senate race where Pat Toomey is retiring, polls give Democrat candidate there Fetterman the advantage, there's similar situation in Ohio with Tim Ryan, it will come down to how people feel about these candidates mostly.
I disagree. Historically, the incumbent president’s party’s performance in midterms is largely dependent on the favorability rating of the president.
In fact, if the president’s party makes up the majority of Congress, the party usually suffers massive losses in the midterms
Foreign AffairsRe: American Politics Thread: Trump Is The 47th President! by PDPGuy(op): 2:49am On Jul 12, 2022
Grim economic facts:
Per Job Quality index data, 63% of jobs created in the US since 1990 have been low-wage hourly jobs.

62% of US jobs cannot support a typical middle class lifestyle

Only 0.1% of minimum wage workers can afford a one-bedroom apartment
SportsRe: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by PDPGuy: 1:30am On Jul 12, 2022
For the clash v Cameroon, I would prefer a 4-3-3 formation with this lineup:

——————————Nnadozie——————————

—-Alozie————Ohale———-Ebi———Plumptre—-

——————————-Ayinde—————————-

———————Ucheibe——Okobi———————

———-Ajibade————Onumonu———Ordega——

If we get Lopez in this team and another center back, it will nice
Yup. Lopez will be a very good addition. But I’m not sure Waldrum or the NFF would want to draft her straight to the SF pre 2023 WC.. I think the coach may want to use her after the mundial.

Biden’s approval rating has sunk to 33% in the latest NY Times poll…

At this point, it’s only GOP extremism that would guarantee Dem control of Congress after the midterms

Floods happen even in European countries and the USA.

Are you saying the drainages were blocked?
In the USA, floods only occur after hurricanes or tropical storms, which are 100x greater than regular heavy downpours.
A mere heavy downpour won’t lead to flooded streets. At worst, a downpour would cause 3-inch ‘floods’ in the US.

Yes, a good number of drains in Lagos and Naija, in general, are being blocked by the factors I stated in my earlier post. That’s why Soludo had to demolish that church cos it was obstructing the flow of the drains

While I would agree with you that drainages are a problem here, the intensity of the rain these few days was much abeg

Even if the whole roads were drainages, there would still be flood

The rains started heavily from 11am on Friday and stopped around 4pm. Then yesterday, it rained from morning till evening (Non-stop).

I don't think the floods these last two days was inevitable. It was heavy oh
Nah. If the drainages weren’t blocked by either trash or buildings, no heavy downpour would result in 6ft floods as we see in Lagos.

If it's head to head, then it will be a bit interesting..
If we beat Burundi by a wide margin and South Africa loss to Botswana, then all 3 teams will be on the same points . Going by head to head rule, South Africa should be ahead of us cus they nwat us.. But they can't be ahead of Botswana who beat them...at the same time, Botswana can't be ahead of cus because we beat them...
so who tops the group? grin
Goal difference will be the decider then
