David hundeyin makes another astonishing discovery!

And by God, is this mind boggling shocked shocked
I continue to lose faith in this country.

How can the state be financing terrorism itself??
Like how does the federal government use its own hand to finance the killings of its own people. cry cry cry cry

https://twitter.com/DavidHundeyin/status/1563087874706137088?t=EPvTXpfaUcY23CTOZYrARA&s=19

Read this and shed tears as to how this government is the very worst any country can wish for.
I’m completely shook shocked

bro we re not kids here..

PDP era was the orchestra of the corruption in which today's Nigeria is been built..

PDP was/is so fantasically corrupt and incompetent to the bone marrow..

No political party has/will ever break the record of the kind of broad daylight corruption and incompetence experienced during the era of PDP
Sir, you can’t say that with a straight face when we hear stories of fantastic corruption every week or every month. The suspended Accountant-General is a verifiable example.

I’m not saying PDP we’re saints, definitely not. There was a lot of official corruption going on for 16 years, but the APC has taken it to a whole new level

was it any better during PDP era? undecided
The PDP era, even with the rampant corruption, was infinitely better than what is being served to our fellow country people today. You know it’s so bad now that staples such as rice, beans etc are almost the exclusive preserve of the rich

This country has never been better. Our lives have never been this good since 1914.

The only way to see the economic prosperity of this country is by travelling abroad.

For real, the APC have been a colossal economic failure. Too many of our people are living in penury due to some truly shambolic economic and monetary policies engineered by Abuja embarassed

Toughest possible UCL group for CFC would be: Real Madrid, Chelsea, Inter Milan, Rangers.

While the "easiest" group would be: Frankfurt, Chelsea, Shakhtar Donetsk, Maccabi Haifa.

In the end, the inability to be clinical in the final 3rd cost the team, especially some unwarranted selfishness from Flourish…

But overall, the likes of Onyenezide, Imuran, Abiodun will have a future with the Super Falcons. Their overall ability was impressive in the four matches

We should be taking advantage of these Dangerous corners from Onyenezide
That’s the brightest spot for the Falconets so far. The corner kicks have troubled the Dutch a lot.

What’s needed in the 2nd half is quicker thinking in the Dutch final third, and a bit less of showboating

I’m only for state police if there are mechanisms - by law and/or practice - to prevent their abuse by state governors.

disgraceful! Some of these ministries have turned Christendom into a joke.
It’s fine for a pastor or worship leader to have a preferred candidate, but the church ground shouldn’t be a venue for partisan politicking.

The ongoing review of the Orosanye Report White Paper will soon be completed. I directed the review to ensure that Government takes the most appropriate decision on its general recommendations. Let me assure that we will ensure the implementation of the Report.
While some may complain about the length of time it has taken, the outcome of the various review teams will lead to some fundamental changes in the structure of our Civil Service. As such it must be subjected to rigorous review and scrutiny before presentation and implementation. PMB via Official Twitter Handle
I can’t wait for the Oransanye report to be implemented because most of the loopholes in the federal civil service would be blocked…

However, even if the FG saves a reported 800 billion/yr by implementing the report, who knows whether the money won’t be siphoned via other means?

My primary concern with having a new coach is ensuring we get one our Foreign born players can feel at home with. No doubt, Randy being coach is a major reason many of them are in the team and we must not take that from him. If we are therefore going for a new coach, it should be someone every player irrespective of their place of birth will feel at home with.

I feel Omagbemi and Akide should fit well since they live and have worked in the US for many years.
My ideal coaching combo would be Akide, Omagbemi, and Chris Danjuma

Which was why Trump told voters Do you think if this was Romney McCain or Bush the media will take it easier on you because you are trying to be decent? The media demonized every Republican that has ever come out. Let the same Liz Cheney their darling contest a general election and you will see how they will attack her. Trump went dirty punch for punch with the Democrats.
For real, if the media hadn’t demonized the likes of Romney and McCain, Trump wouldn’t have had a political future.

Republican radicals such as Tom Tancredo ran for president in 2008, promising to basically stifle legal immigration. He didn’t gain much traction cos Republican voters thought he was too extreme, and preferred McCain.

So, I would say it was the media and DC political elites who created Trump indirectly

I commend LASG on their soon to be completed electric rail line.. Finally, Jakande’s vision, which was truncated by Buhari’s military government, is coming to fruition.

Then once the 4th mainland bridge is complete, it would be safe to say that the era of 3-4hr traffic jams in Lagos would be a thing of the past.
Foreign AffairsRe: American Politics Thread: Trump Is The 47th President! by PDPGuy(op): 3:11pm On Aug 18, 2022
Contrary to popular belief, the democrats spent decades labeling every republican as everything they label Trump. Bush was Hitler... Romney wanted to put black America back in chains... etc... The reason Trump came to power is because he hits back at these attackers... where as the old republican guard just allowed the entire republican base to be insulted and dismissed without a word while they slunk back to their wealth that makes them immune to the social issues that common republicans face.

Trump is a terrible person in a lot of ways... but the republicans need either him or a clone of him to have any chance to win... and even then, it's not a great chance... but at least it's a chance.

Defensive errors got them a good portion of their goals, aside the pks they got. They are good at Cks. Their game against USA shows how bad the usa defence was. Their no 7 will struggle alot vs Imuran imo. She's their star girl.

Midfield battle? Non existent- We will come out tops.
Setpieces? I give it to them. We should be wary of in box tackles. That's if they give them a chance, which i doubt. Got some good headers too.

As for attack- i doubt they can handle our forwards, sincerely. The Ghana goal is proof of that. Even if Flourish starts from bench, they still won't be able to successfully soak in the threat. We really need to take our chances as we are going to see alot of those.

Coach Danjuma better allow Abiodun start that game. This is her kind of game.

We will be their first real test of their own strengths. I won't be surprised if they go the korean way.
It looks like all our opponents, except France (and possibly Spain) would have parked the bus in our matches. This is truly unprecedented. I can’t even recall the last global tournament where most of our opponents started the game by parking the bus against us
SportsRe: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by PDPGuy: 3:08pm On Aug 18, 2022
The Falconets, as some of us have rightly pointed out, need to get more shots on target.

Aside from the 2 penalties, the girls only had 4 attempts on target out of 22. That is a shocking 18% accuracy rate.

Imuran should be on 3 Assists by now.
Yea
The crosses were threatening all game! I like the fact that the team has improved its crossing ability and corner kicks as the tourney has progressed.

Like you said, it’s a shame that those crosses were under-utilized; if not, the Falconets would have handily beaten Canada 6-1. No cap.
