I hear Liz Cheney is considering a 2024 run for president…
Because she lost her re-election bid by 30%, I don’t really see a path to the White House for her |

Some Nigerian publications use the words "soccer" and "football" interchangeably. So it is also proper to use the word "soccer" on here. |

I’m expecting a much more open game on Thursday because the Canadians are already out and have nothing further to lose; and would probably want to leave the tourney on a high…
I would bank on Sebastine to flourish in such an open game |

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: How Legally Binding Is An Employment Contract? by PDPGuy: 5:39pm On Aug 15, 2022 |
It depends on the particular jurisdiction. For eg, in “At will” employment jurisdictions, regardless of the terms of a written employment contract, the employer reserves the right to alter the contract at any time, with/without notice |

Flourish Sebastine gives me Messi vibes! Yes, that’s the impact she’s had in both games.
Kudos to the team for notching Nigeria’s 20th win in the tournament as well. I noticed the pass accuracy improved, but the decisiveness in the final 3rd needs improvement. |

Flourish Sebastian indeed finished with a flourish as she scored Nigeria’s 65th U-20 WWC goal, in their 41st match at the competition.
The win over France was also the Falconets 19th win in the competition. Will the Falconets notch their 20th win vs. South Korea tomorrow? |

BTW, a U.S. magistrate judge is a judicial officer of the district court and is appointed by majority vote of the active district judges of the court to exercise jurisdiction over matters assigned by statute as well as those delegated by the district judges.
Yea, he/she is NOT nominated by the president and confirmed by the senate.. |

GloriousGbola: the government DID remove the subsidy
in 2016 or so - when saudi arabia was trying to kill shale oil mand flooded the market, forcing price of oil down. at that point price of fuel was effectively achieveale without a subsidy
so with small fanfare, the admin eleminated subsidy
then price of oil started climbing, landing cost of product rose, and the government could not allow Marketers to provide PMS at market rates
so they returned subsidy as underrecoevry, executed by NNPC only
the reason why subsidy cannot be eliminated is what you posted - diesel and ATK are deregulated
diesel is at at least 700k/litre ATK is at 800k/litre
what do you think will happen if tehy start selling petrol at 800k/litre?
right now, PMS is at 170 to 185 in lagos. everyone has increased fares. now ahat do you think a 500% increase will do?
everyone watched and learned from the response to GEJ's poorly thought out and jan 1 fk you in the arse removal of subsidy.
it is a lightning rod. unless we can sort out local production, subsidy in any interation or name will have to remain
you just curdsed the government over the rice of airfare.
now what do you think the price of petrol will do to SMEs?
i am working from home, and i run on petrol generators. even now i have already started cutting back. how many people can work or do anything on N800/litre perol cost? What the country needs is the Dangote refinery to come on stream, and for other smaller refineries to be licensed. Yes, increased local production wouldn’t drastically bring down the price of fuel/diesel, but 30% reduction in price will be feasible. |

Please we are tired of this change! Let this change take us back to when flight prices was 15000 naira. Now it's 100 thousand.
Let this change take us back to when bag of rice was 13000 naira. It's touching 40k right now and people are telling us they're already "agric farmers subsidy" that government has in place. Are these people not DEMONS? Wow! These Naija airline tickets have skyrocketed massively |

Under Powell v. McCormack and U.S. Term Limits v. Thornton, Congress and the states cannot "add to the express textual qualifications for House and Senate seats in Article I.
So, based on the case law I cited I think Trump would be successful in a legal challenge to the constitutionality of 18 USC 2071 |
