At 5:12am on March 1, 2023, President-elect Tinubu began his acceptance speech

Ibukzy:
1999-2011

Technically, the 4th Republic began on May 29, 1999. So, the 1999 elections were held outside the 4th republic

larride:
Congratulate us now

Relax

Tinubu becomes the 3rd Yoruba person to be elected president, following MKO Abiola (1993), and Olusegun Obasanjo (1999, 2003).

This is only the 2nd time in the 4th Republic that a party has won three consecutive presidential elections (APC 2015-2023) since the PDP did so between 2003-2011.

Atiku joins Buhari as the person with the most losses in presidential elections, with both men having lost 3 general elections each

At 4:10am on March 1, 2023 Bola Tinubu was officially declared president-elect

Only 23% of PVC collectors voted. That’s a very low turnout

raumdeuter:
Koro actually believed that he could unseat Tinubu and be the Jagaban of Lagos

This is not the first time Tinubu has done this tactic, funded a 3rd party to stifle the main opponent

He did the same in Ondo 2007, He funded Mimiko of LP vs Agagu of PDP

Who knows whether there is a secret agreement between Tinubu and Obi, where Tinubu serves 4 years and Obi serves 4 years..

raumdeuter:
I mentioned it on one of my posts that psych patient dey always display

Do you think you will wrest power from PDP in charge of treasury by raising funds through gofundme?

Its okay to deceive yourselves

In the coming days the conduit Jagaban used to fund Obis campaign would be revealed. A popular banker from the SS

Some 5D chess will be revealed soon

The game is the game

Wow! The bolded sounds too incredible

izzou:
LP even had triple the votes of NNPP in Niger?

Niger?

What is the difference between Kwankwaso and Hushpuppy?

😂😂😂😂

raumdeuter:
APC and PDP already made 25% in 24 states

Ok o

VoteTinubu2023:
What are you saying?

Runoff from where to where?

From what I’m seeing, it’s unlikely that any candidate would hit the 25% in 24 states AND plurality of votes threshold

WhoDeyHause:
Yes. It's only two.
The two candidates with
The candidate with the highest number of votes in the first round.
The candidate who has a majority of votes in the highest number of states.

Thanks 👍🏾

I believe if the election goes to a runoff, it’s only the top two candidates that will be in the contest.

liveLongNprospa:
Ehn😂😂😂😂😂

Lool. It will be a long day 😂

Donjazet2:
Wrong!!!

With results I'm still confident of an Obi win or at least a run off. One thing is certain, Obi finishes top 2 today. House of rep seats has climbed to 78. That's very serious power right there.

For a party without structure to win the biggest state in Nigeria is unprecedented news.

The polls were right!!!!

LP has won 78 HOR seats?😱😱
That’s already over 21% of the seats oh! Obi has done wonders cos this must be LP’s best ever performance in any nationwide NASS election

INEC Chairman says there was no over-voting in Ekiti state

I’m concerned that Ondo had over 19,000 invalid votes! That’s just too high

One hour break!!

OasisX:

... except in Ekiti and very unlikely in Osun.

Right. Osun people and APC/ACN are like 5 and 6😂
I remember they were the only state that Ribadu carried in 2011

Donjazet2:
Again, we know the strongholds of each candidates and it seems they're performing as expected in their strongholds..

I always said obi will win the southern votes. No single doubt about that.

Obi would also lose the North western votes. His target remains healthy percentages there..

Results of utmost importance are those from fct, nasarawa, taraba, plateau, benue.
Which ever candidate cumulatively wins the votes of these state wins the election.

So far, it’s looking like Obi will garner 25%+ in the SW.. What remains for him is to carry the NC in order to have any chance of winning

A40:
One more thing, Atiku from the results I've been seeing so far has been a huge embarrassing failure.

His minions kept trolling talking about how Obi should have stepped aside but from the unofficial numbers it looks like he's the one that has not been pulling his weight. If he couldn't dominate his Northern stronghold in dominant fashion then why the hell was he adamant on contesting? That had always been my fear that his supporters would not be radical enough to support an masse

At least with Agbadomen and Obidients you know these ones are ready to die on the line. The mere fact that APC is doing better thus far suggests he really should have stepped aside and backed Obi. Cos imagine how embarrassing it would be if Atiku after all his arrogance failed to win a single Southern state

Man, by tomorrow evening it will be crystal clear to Atiku that he won’t even finish second. No one has ever won a presidential election by carrying only northern or southern votes

OasisX:
Why?

Probably tech issues
