Deltamani: The bolded… The likes of Omagbemi, Akide and Nkiru Okosieme have been coaching Youth & College teams in the US for over a decade now, Is time the NFF take advantage of their experience at that level.. Bring them on board let them nurture this girls… If they’re not doing well with the various teams they’re handling they won’t be staying with the job of Developing the Players till date..! The bolded is a key point you made. As they are Black African women, if they showed the slightest sign of incompetence, they would have been shown the exit door in a haste! |

EnlightenedUFO: Harris is ahead of the rapist 51% to 47% nationally.
POLLS DON'T VOTE but from what I've seen so far, the rapist trump will do worse than 2020.
And she's on track to perform better among Black and Latino men. Wow This is a surprise from the media narrative that up to 25-30% of Black men (under 45 years) may vote for Trump… |

raumdeuter: I dont think this is good enough. We should find a way to improve the process so that results can be known faster It would partly be faster if some states (especially the swing states) decide to count and tabulate the early ballots before Election Day. Yes, the reason why there was a delay in knowing the identity of the presumptive winner in Nevada, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Georgia, back in 2020, was because their state laws prohibited tabulating the early ballots before Election Day. Moreover, the huge upswing in early voting, then, was also a contributory factor in the delay in knowing the winner till the Saturday after the election. |

Michigan early voting just broke crazy records. Last was 11k+ on first day but now it's 100k+
Ah ah, maga cult is not yet ready lolz Amazing! Those numbers reinforce the fact that we wouldn’t know the presumptive winner till at least the Thursday or Friday after Election Day. |

solonnachi: This loss to USA really hurts. After scoring those number of goals at the group stages only to come and lose in the quarter finals. Olowookere thought it would be a work over against USA, he didn't analyse this game well,. I know we would be back next year but there is need for quality on the technical bench. I can't imagine he was telling his players to shoot anyhow when the ball gets to them. Who does that in modern day football? Chai.... It truly was so frustrating to see the girls soaking the game and other games with mostly off-target shots. I was saying to myself, “can’t these girls just toe the line of one-touch/combination passes, regardless of the coach’s instructions?” Anyway, if it were up to me, I wouldn’t mind having a person like Mercy Akide becoming the team’s head coach. After all, she has years of experience coaching high school teams in the U.S., which would dovetail nicely with coaching an U-17 team. |

But on a serious note, I hope the likes of Moshood, Chidi, Effiong, and the keeper are retained for next year’s World Cup (assuming, of course, that wouldn’t be overaged by then) |

What are we even doing bro? People like fascist trump are to be left in the dust bin of history. Let's not pretend we dont know his fascination for Hitler.
This is what voters are talking about now as critical questions are now being considered. That's why John Kelly spoke up.

semid4lyfe: Spot on!
If you a fan has observed this, I shudder to think how much data the americans would would have amassed on the flamingoes and their pattern of play with their professional match analysts cos they'll go way back to the WC Qualifiers.
I hope our coach and his crew will do their homework on the american team too cos this game will be won and lost from the bench.
The flamingoes can beat the US team but the coach has to be tactically astute, and not leave them to play their normal game, and be shouting orders like "follow am', "ma fun laye", "eh watch e", "iwaju' , 'emu eyan kan", etc from the sidelines Your last sentence though 😅😂😂 |

Yesterday was the 4th time that the Flamingoes won an U-17 WC group, having also achieved the feat at the 2010, 2012, and 2014 editions.
Interestingly though, it was at the last edition, where they finished 2nd in the group, that the team broke it quarterfinal ‘jinx’.. |

PDPGuy: Fun facts:
In the group stages of the U-17 WC, the Germans hold the record for the most goals scored at a single group stage - 22. Yes, the Germans scored a whopping 22 goals in 3 group matches at the 2010 edition! 🙆🏾
Meanwhile, the most goals scored by the Flamingoes at a WC group stage is 15, achieved at the 2012 edition.
At the 3rd place match of the 2022 edition, Ajakaye scored Nigeria’s 50th U-17 WC goal against Germany..
Moreover, as of the end of yesterday’s match, the Flamingoes have now scored 56 U-17 WC goals in 25 matches! Updated goal tally is now 61 in 27 games |

semid4lyfe: The USA that I know would have compiled dossier on all our players and analyzed our pattern of play in details, and will come up with a way to neutralize us.
I don't feel good about meeting the Americans. I feel that the Americans would execute a high-press strategy seeing that the defense are prone (especially the left side) to panic plays wherever our opponents mounted sustained pressure on them |
