If you haven't got any audit experience, you stand very little chance of getting an experienced role in the audit arm..and I do not think they will offer him EL opportunities.

However, they also have an accounting arm, he can try his luck there. They just do not have as much vacancies as an audit.

Very possible, am an example. One you've been invited to an interview, one leg is in. It's left to you to prove yourself during the interview and that's it. When there is a job opening they would invite for interview based on Cv received , what if all other applicants are not from big 4, does it mean they would now leave that post open... then that their loss in head count so I believe it also based on what available ....

If he works with a smaller firm(big 10), he stands a chance. I know a guy from PKF Kenya that got a manager role in a big4, another from an indigenous firm in South Africa got an assistant manager role. Just have the relevant experience, package your CV well and be prepared to defend your CV during the interview stages.

I agree with those that have advised you reject the offer.

Its best you stay back in Nigeria, attain the manager role whilst working on your ACCA.

As soon as you get the promotion, you can start reapplying. I'll suggest you strip the location of the Big 4 from your CV and just have the name of the Big 4. If asked during the interview which country you worked, then you can mention Nigeria and reference any global end client you worked with (if any). Do not be surprised that the reason why you have been offered a role lower than what you applied for (which i find rather insulting) is because you have Nigeria on your CV, even though you are working for a company that's well known around the world with offices in literally every continent.

The minimum you should accept is the same grade level you were in Nigeria and your take home pay (when converted) must be higher than your take home pay in Nigeria.

I also disagree with those who say Big 4 don't pay well. Salary negotiation skills is key with these companies and you must bring something niche/unique to the table.

Finally, don't just focus on the Big 4. Financial services is such a huge employment of labour in the UK - redirect your job search to banks (big banks, challenger banks), investment companies, insurance companies and fintechs with interest in financial services (e,g. paypal, revolut)

Please don't get it wrong. I believe there should be 2 offerings: normal church offering and tithe.

Nowadays there are up to 5 offerings in church.

1 Sunday school offering
2 Testimony offering
3 Building levy offering
4 Youth offering
5 Offerings for needy
6 Tithe etc

There are strategies devised to coerse one to give

You don't explain details to some people cos the more you explain the more they get confuse. Tell him that you can have 10% shareholding interest in an organisation and that makes you the largest shareholders.....I am a shareholder in first bank of Nigeria but my shares is so insignificant that you hardly see or notice me.....one day when I hit billionaire level.....maybe I might consider buying more shares and move up the ladder of shareholders.....
