Politics › Re: Ihedioha Begins Removal Of Okorocha’s Overhead Iron Bars And Trees In Owerri by PeaceNexus(m): 9:01am On Jul 23, 2019 |
This man may as well be worse than Okorocha...what a clueless governor.... No new initiative, always looking for how to mess the few Okorocha's legacies massmediang: Governor of Imo State, Emeka Ihedioha, has commenced removal of the iron bars which former governor Rochas Okorocha placed across the major streets of Owerri.
Okorocha who is now the Senator representing Imo West constituency, used the iron bars and artificial palm trees to beautify the state capital.
But Ihedioha seems to want the state capital to look different so his administration has embarked on the removal of all the iron bars across streets in the state capital. The trees are also going down one after the other.
Massmediang gathered that this action by Ihedioha is coming with mixed feelings among Imo people as some of them are happy with the action while others feel that this is tax payers’ money being wasted. Some feel that Ihedioha should face more important projects while others feel that most of Rochas Okorocha’s numerous projects, including the iron bars and artificial trees are remind them of the wasted and bad governance of the past administration and should be removed.

Paid fellow.....be ashamed of yourself NwaAmaikpe:

Amnesty International should be wiser than falling for the sentiments Timi and Busola have strongly whipped up.
It is Nigeria for crying out loud. Where broken down police vans are hand-pushed, Where the police demand money from complainants to fuel their vehicles so they can effect an arrest.
Those policemen came all the way from Abuja. So it could be the complainant provided a means of transportation for them or they chartered a bus or they used an unmarked vehicle.
Why are the Dakolos crying foul?
They have a good social media following, several folks have volunteered to contribute towards their legal battles. Some lawyers even decided to take up the case for free. They also have an NGO. Why are they scared now or is there something we don't know?
This is not intimidation. Police show up in your house to invite you and you shout you are being intimidated, but you mobilized people to go and shut down a man's church on a Sunday, attack his worshippers and even had people hurling him all sorts of abuses on the cyberspace.
And that wasn't physical, emotional and psychological intimidation abi? Where was Amnesty International then?
Timi should have considered his scrotum when he decided to sit on this termite-infested log. |

Politics › Re: Nigeria Is Irredeemable Nnamdi Kanu Replies On Guardian Newspaper Interview by PeaceNexus(m): 4:42pm On Jul 16, 2019 |
This country is irredeemable, every human with a brain knows that. Its just a matter of time. Unless we revert to true federalism Nigeria as a country won't go anywhere. ezenwajosh: Q. You sound as if Nigeria is irredeemable, what gives you that impression?
ANSWER:- ... Nigeria like most colonial contraptions in Africa is beset by value system conflicts. Value conflicts are caused by incompatible and often irreconcilable beliefs or value systems. Values are intrinsic beliefs that people use to give meaning to their lives. Values explain what is ‘good’ or ‘bad,’ ‘right’ or ‘wrong,’ ‘just’ or ‘unjust.’ To a people, value conflict arises when people attempt to force one set of values on others or lay exclusivist claims to state affairs and resources that do not allow the inclusion of divergent values and beliefs. You cannot change the value and belief systems of a people because they are intrinsic to human nature as a result of orientation and upbringing hence the use of armed suppression, oppression and conquest to contain value conflicts. For example, Islamic feudal cow loving Fulani will never fit into the republican free-market egalitarian geopolitical space of we Biafrans. Conflict in values and systems such as exist in Nigeria was exactly the same reason why Britain voted to exit the EU. British values conflict with that of the EU, as simple as that. Not minding they have a lot in common like democracy, rule of law, tolerance and so on, Britain still chose to leave the EU. Why won’t Biafra be allowed to exit an unworkable contraption imposed on us by foreign colonial overlords? ----Mazi Nnamdi Kanu |

Anybody who manages to take over a reasonable area in south west is already infiltrated into the south east and vise versa. The earlier people put pressure on South west leaders to do something the better for all of us down south. Igbos say that when the eye cries the nose is in pains too. Politicians are never the answer to any general problem...they have a position that they would never want to lose. |

See this one. Kindly request that your family land and possibly your entire state be converted to a grazing field. Enjoy all the economic benefits. Nonsense deomelo: Is this not the plan in the first place?
Oh, I forgot you heard from somewhere on the internet that the FG will take your land and ship fulani herdsmen from the North to your states to take over your state.
Funny how people deny themselves economic and job opportunities because of ignorance, bigotry, petty politics, and tribalism. |

We are together still....what I meant was that some Igbo people want to claim that Rivers state is Igbo, ....rivers of course are their own unique people... My point is that the so called Igbos are denying their brothers and at the same time forcing other people to accept that they are Igbos. By the way, just as you predicted, the thread I created on the bad road somewhere has been removed... Juliusmalema: I disagree with you here.
In all my years I didn't know or recognise that there are Igbos in rivers state or delta state. So anyone doing that is on his own.
Till today running to tomorrow, many of us are not aware of that.
Secondly there are many things the likes of kanu and his bandwagons fail to understand about Identity. You don't force identity on people, they decide who they want and we're they want to be.
Rivers state today might have decided to have more robust relationship with SW or north or inter marry or create parallel business to foster their unity...To me is their choice.
Dragging people who doesn't want you, create room for insults.
So on rivers issues I diagree because even here we are not aware that there are Igbos over and that has shifted insults away from us.
As for the op, he is abia state boy hiding under Nnewi moniker to write these. |

Tomorrow they will start claiming that rivers is Igbo , and some are busy tarnishing the image of the people who have accepted to be Igbo. Sorry is you people's name. Bunch of confused fellows.
