What I have always wished for Igbos is not Nigeria presidency, it is a geographic area to call their own....a place where they will make their own laws and govern themselves, a place where there will be no royal families or blue blood...where, as enshrined in their DNA, all men are equal and as such have equal opportunity to either take on the world in intelligence or perish the way of a mediocre.
Igbos are created with an insatiable spirit, always lunging to fulfill a dream and dream more. They are designed for the impossible. A people endowed with the most sophisticated and advanced mental power.

Mind you, every other tribe is endowed but where you show serious sign of superiority, people are bound to misunderstand you... Some will term you over zealous, insatiable, greedy, just name it.

In all, we all will be better off as individual federating units ....

Dumb Government.....zero innovation, zero economic plan, zero good initiative.... All the things in their rotten head are "borrow, borrow, more borrow, borrow some more, then tax, tax, tax some more" and defend their cluelessness.

Time is long gone when we had direction as a country, when we dared to have a vision.....captains of industries planned based on the visions of the federal government, mapping out ways to key in developmental projects in line with the government direction.

A country that starts politicking even before the just concluded elections are properly concluded is never going anywhere... They don't have time to plan.... That is a terrible place for any right thinking Igbo man to call his country.

This country will never get better going by all the things that have been happening.

An Igbo man is a critical thinker...no mediocres...every other tribe confirms this...though they use different words like "over ambitious" , etc to covertly or overtly admit this.

Having said that, I dont really think my best wish for the Igbos is just to lead this country. An Igbo man can be the president of this country yet Igbos will still be operating at far below average. What Igbos need is not the Nigerian presidency, after all the North is still the worst in Nigeria with all of their political positions.... Its has even made them become a laughing stock as all regions refer to them as parasites.

Igbos are more than that.....they are unique people and until they leave this contraption called Nigeria, they would never attain the heights they so passionately crave for.

Jonathan was the president of Nigeria, go to Otueke and see for yourself.

South East should please, as a matter of urgency jettison this thought of one Nigeria and come together in voice to exit this space. Its not doing us any good for Gods sake.

I have several friends from there....some of them bear Igbo names...even their surnames.... Though they claim that they were supposed to be from Delta state but somehow they were carved to Edo. Her name is Ngozi. That's an unadulterated Igbo name. Another person bears Udele as his surname. Udele in Igbo means vulture which was the same meaning the guy gave.....those are my bases for the statement
