I think your perspective of failure needs to change, there is no true success without failure, no true victory without looses, no true celebrity who wasn't at first a nonentity. Failure is in itself a core component of success. True failure is not your inability to win external competitions, it is accepting that you're a total looser.

Seek ye first....the riches and luxuries of this earth is the priority of Prosperity Churches...how to invest your earthly possessions. ...to become rich... to be wealthy....to live a life of luxury. ... to be 'successful'...same as vanity upon vanity....reaching heaven right here on earth....before death..before the judgement. None of this has anything to do with spirituality/Christianity.

You said in your previous post, that prosperity preaching churches have Nothing to do with spirituality but Everything to do with amassing wealth, that only means that their relationship is inversely proportional.

You also said that they're misleading people into believing that they're the church of God whereas they're prosperity churches(which means prosperity preaching churches are not ordained by God). You see the underlying meaning of your Post is too obvious to be misunderstood.


which church ever told you to seek prosperity before God, or you're just assuming. if yes then I should tell you that, one of the most popular verse of the scripture in one of these Churches I have been to(winners chapel) is Matthew 6:33. There was a time a program called operation matt 6:33 was declared in the church. even up till now members are advised to concentrate on soul winning before other things.


So saying all Prosperity Churches don't preach on seeking God first, is a very ignorant and unfounded claim.

Based on this writeup you're saying that the gathering of earthly possessions have nothing to do with spirituality, that is the more spiritual you are. the less wealthy you're expected to be.
If that is the case please can you educate further by telling us what our mission on earth is as Christians, what is the essence of been born on earth, when we are not suppose to amass Her possessions, why weren't our souls sent directly to heaven since the sole essence of our creation was to be spiritual?

There are "mistakes" that people do not recover from, let alone to learn from.

The greatest Impairment is the disability of the mind. No matter the cage you think you're entrapped in, as long as it does not inhibit your ability to think, You're in fact not handicapped. Being physically fit, but yet mentally unstable is in actual sense the truest form of disability.

Its one of the reasons I've not considered getting involved in any relationship. Some Women have this Uncanny affinity for attention, a burning desire for their lover's ever constant presence. I feel that I can't give such attention 100 percent to anyone right now, instead such time should be devoted to make your youthful ambitions come to reality, instead of wasting precious time devoting your energy on a casual relationship that's has its existential root in nothing but Lasciviousness.

The point i'm addressing is not about whether those who set the cut off, are foolish or wise, it's your assertion regarding him not being smart enough to get into medical school, which is wrong, your initial post made it seem like, ALL those studying medicine in Nigeria were able to scale through the cut off, because they're "Smart"

In my first year in school, I met some medical students in class, with scores that will not get you into Life Sciences on a normal day, yet were admitted, however there were people who did better and ended up being sidelined, but superficial perception of that scenario will make you think it was their intelligence that got them the course.



In a nutshell, There are medical students that scale through the cut off and are admitted, others do too, and are sidelined, there are even cases were people get the same scores, one is picked and the other gets nothing.

So considering the admission system, in Nigeria, it is disdainful & callous to attribute the cause of a persons inability to secure admission on low intelligence without considering other factors.

I still maintain that the Ops actions were wrong nonetheless.

if you're not smart enough to get medicine in the first place, opt for something else. all these excuses you're giving is trash. the cutoff was high, yet people still made the cutoff legitimately. stop trying to make excuses for your inadequacies. if you cant make the cutoff, what makes you think you'll be able to cope in medical school?

Not supporting the Op's actions, I think I should point something out..
there are people that score above the cut off, and still end up being denied of admission, it is totally unreasonable to conclude that he wasn't admitted into medical school because he wasn't smart enough.

The best private University in Nigeria today is owned by a religious body. This has not only helped in ensuring that thousands get good and quality education, but have gotten countless number of people gainfully employed.


In fact Religion, (Christianity to be precise)served as the tool with which civilisation came to major parts of Nigeria.


Poverty is caused majorly by ignorance and Laziness or slothfulness. and non of these vices have any link to religion.

*study to show yourself approved, a workman that needed not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of Truth.


These statements were curled from the Bible.... "a religious book".

So a true practitioner of what the bible says, cannot end up poor, poverty is the end product of wrong choices and actions exhibited by " an individual", and when we have a collection of these kind of individuals, in the same geographical zone it culminates into a poor nation, and these people should be blamed for the consequences of their wrong choices not religion.

You are making my point for me. So if God could overlook the days of ignorance and those guys won't go to hell, why does he want the gospel to reach every part of the world then? Meanwhile many people are getting less ignorant and therefore unforgivable in the process.

Lets assume the principal of a school, told his students to come to school with their school fees receipt on a particular day, and threatens to punish those that defy his orders,
However on the D day, a group of students explained to him that they we're not aware of his order, and so were consequently forgiven.


Does this mean that the principal should avoid making other students know of his order, so that they too can enjoy the benefit of "not knowing or rather being ignorant?

In the post I quoted, you made a statement about a certain " 100 people" that the gospel couldn't get to, because of a tyrannic leader.
And concluded without bases, that they were going straight to hell, which made me point you to a verse that talks about God Overlooking our days of ignorance.



Secondly, these assumptions you made at best, remain your assumptions, they can't serve as yardstick for determining or knowing what judgement will be like, God's mercy is infinite and he chooses to show it to whomever he wills.
