Neither wrong nor right

It’s a case of morals and morality is subjective. I don’t consider suicide wrong or right. And as in the case of prostitution, the person who does is usually driven by something they consider extraneous.

There’s no luring in prostitution. The client and the service provider all go into it willingly. Unless the sex provider is being held against his/her wish and made to sleep with men or women for money, then all the participants are willing.

Try something else.

My argument if you observe , deliberately avoided touching directly the notion of moral subjectivity or objectivity. Rather it instead tries more to make you see the severity of harm this vice, does to society and the people in it. It is the reason why there is an alarming rise in Std spread, in this part of the world, not just that, but also a rise in unwanted pregnancies. So you see, children who have no knowledge of their parents everywhere, children from broken homes, this ultimately champions a broken society. Why so? because the profession has grown both "officially and unofficially", if you know what I mean.
Because something as biologically important as sex have been monetized, cheapened to say the least.

And of course prostitution involves luring, I suppose you don't interprete that only as when one is coerced to do something at gun point, the thing is this, these persons capitalize on their client's innate biological desire for the opposite sex. And then dress and act as such to entice them. Fact is, if there were no prostitutes there would inturn be no patrons, case closed.

Even you don't want to agree that it is wrong, although it is. Know that it is harmful, the likelihood for it to cause harm and societal imbalance is greater than otherwise. And no right thinking human no matter how "subjective" his or her morality is, should support such.

Let me even indulge you and say CERTAINLY that this woman is a prostitute.
I’m as sure as you are that she’s a prostitute . Are you happy?

Let’s move from there .

So she’s a professional runs girl and so what?

No freaking kidding!!! you’re comparing someone selling her body to someone who’s a ritualist and robber? Are you for real? What’s the issue with you guys not understanding bodily autonomy to the extent that you compare what someone does with their own body to heinous crimes that evil people perpetrate on others.

Telling me I’m standing on the fence on this like there’s any other position I’m supposed to take with someone’s personal life who isn’t hurting anyone by their lifestyle.

I can’t get with your logic. You make no sense.
You don’t have proof that she’s a prostitute, and even if there’s irrefutable proof that she’s one, please let us know how it’s your business and how it compares to robbery and killing people for their organs.

The utter lack of correlation confounds me. JEEZ!!
You don’t need to reply me.

Prostitution, by casual observance, do not seem to pose any threat, severe enough to be compared to crimes like ritual killing or robbery and other vices, but then it is but a beautifully disguised cankwerwom, which no-one should at all defend, after all, forbidden fruit as they say tastes the sweetest. If I may ask, how do you think Std's spread so fast? By air? Or by matrimonial intimacy? No please. It established itself Particularly by this very thing you seem to be defending.
And it is beyond bodily autonomy, because, the game also involves luring "clients and customers " "other people friend. Hence Prostitution is not complete until the prostitute exchanges her body with the money of the client, which Is mortally demeaning, I must say.
And if we now were to go by your theory of bodily autonomy, then we should also say say suicide is right? And should not be interfered with. Please think.... peace.

That's why many of them are suffering from poverty. They spend time gossiping and getting jealous of any female that succeeds in life. How can such people become rich?

Please sister, for the sake of the gift of reasoning, under stand that This is not what this case is about, Everything is not always about money.
Most men will celebrate and infact be proud of any successful woman, who has any reasonably obvious, and open source that explains her wealth or influence.
Talk about the likes of chimamanda adichie, Genevieve Nnaji, Foluronsho Akilaja, and so on, not someone who is yet to establish herself and her supposed profession, but yet claims to have gotten what it would take even veterans in the same profession many years to acquire, while hiding under the cloak of hard work. Think this through.

Brother, . Once upon a tiime, I used to think this way. But after time and time again of study and proper reconsideration of the concept of Christianity, about what it actually teach, about the way of life it admoshes it's adherents to imbibe. I conclude that this Nigerian--invented brand of Pentecostalism is becoming the very antithesis of Christianity itself. how many churches can you point to, in contemporary Nigeria that are actually practicing Christianity,I mean that one Christ brought,, how many pastors can dare lead that nomadic lifestyle that Christ lead even in the face of great wealth you will notice they're very few. If at all there are.

I do not say it is wrong for a pastor or priest to be wealthy, afterall they do not force people to make donations in their churches at gun point. But what do they actually use the acquired wealth for?,
Rather than use it to promote Christianity's core messages like giving to the poor, I mean (not these attention seeking induced kind of giving you observe today, on TV) I mean like the early church, like the Christians of Antioch, they don't. They spend billions building mega auditoria in an embarrassing attempt to claim world largest auditorium as if it were said to be a criteria for entering the much preached heaven. They grow expansive business chains, buy private jets and cars without restrictions, Brother the glaring question we should ask ourselves plainly..... is would Christ do same if he were in their shoes? peace.

Career / Re: 5 Reasons Why Schooling May Never Make You Rich by peacesamuel94(m): 10:31am On Jan 16, 2019
schools don't make people rich, was never meant to. You make it sound like schooling and education are at loggerheads. The school by its very nature was designed to facilitate education, it was designed to systemize education, organize it, except of course the topic is about Nigerian schools were this have been compromised.
And by the way what is this senseless absurdity of Africans... (Ngerians precisely)going to school majorly to make money.
Well maybe because from his very birth the black man due to the environment he was borne in, was socialized....taught infact to fear poverty. So severe that everything and anything about him must revolve around how much money you can make from it.

CRIME PANGS.

The hunger I felt then was different, gnawing. It was the kind driven, not just by the benign lack of
food, but by the even deadlier absence of the hope for food. I sought salvation from the goodly
Illusions of sleep, it did not come. The torment layed open like engraving in stone.

"Hunger Cannot kill a man", Baba says. And I never doubted Until then. Sleep had forsaken me. And Baba too.

So I had gone out, bearing emptiness in my belly, the intention to steal in my mind.

It was how I ended in the Police net.

The system too is to be checked.. Have you heard of the motion to dissolve non-medical anatomy lecturers from medical schools?

True, but the system will not check itself, the steps to check it must begin from here..Us.

For now that motion regarding who/who isn't qualified to teach medical students does not hold water and does not seem like what will hold water, anytime soon.

when I graduate, i hope to earn a Ph.d in Neuroanatomy. Your question might be single but its answers are diverse and their authenticity only depend on what you deem fit enough to call "fulfilling". The people advising you to pick MBBS over a PhD can only speak from the viewpoint of what they personally prefer(including me).
You should be asking yourself if you're passionate enough to invest time... to sacrifice your youth for the pursuit of med/surg. Question the intent behind your hunger, is it for passion or money, the answer lies there.

For me, I chose a PhD over an MBBS because, I'ld rather participate in the creation of knowledge than the execution of knowledge, i'ld also like to point out that apart from the Hospital environment, the MBBS holder is never above a PhD holder. In the University a PhD holder is like a demigod, unlike the MBBS holder who sometimes go through a Masters program before they can teach.
Even outside the Health Sphere, A PhD automatically places you in the league of those eligible enough to occupy managerial positions.

Lastly a PhD, will take a shorter period of time to attain for you, especially if done outside the country. whereas before you become a certified consultant it will take another 6 to 7 Years after graduation. So think well, I emphasize again that I speak from my point of view as others have done, and only your decision will stand in the end.

I was basing my own position on knowledge that we have so far. those that talk about heaven and all do so based on faith not knowledge. I can prove my own position by taking you to a mortuary

If showing me to a mortuary could serve as proof for the non existence of an afterlife, then it means you could as well show me the clear sky as proof of the non existence of exoplanets resident in distant galaxies. when you made use of the term "empirically proven" it passed the message of surety, of personal conviction due to experience. Alas! that isn't the case.

My own position is empirically proven whereas yours is based on speculation and faith. anything and everything can be claimed to be true on faith so its a terrible way of making claims

If I may humbly ask, how is your position empirically proven, have you ever experienced that state of non existence that comes after death to know that an after life doesn't exist. ever tested and proven it.

Nigeria...Africa as a whole, have this twisted perception of creativity, that's why, a look at her recent celebrities, especially those in the entertainment industry is nausea inducing. blatant and shameless display of gross stupidity is regarded as talent, bobrisky,..the inventor of d Yoruba slang(do you know my age) or something like that, and many others come to mind. Sometimes You''ld wonder if the term "Dark continent" resulted in the seeping of a dark, sticky haze into the minds of most of its inhabitants, hindering their ability to make sound judgements.

A professional is always a professional. As a professional, you are at advantage over those road side sellers. You render professional service and make your cool cash. Customers tend to patronize you if they found out that you are a pharmacist. They feel more secure but it doesn't mean some other health workers don't venture into such business, they do but you stand out. Aside this, the regulatory agencies rarely disturbs compare to others in the business

Good points , but you know the richest doctor in the world Dr patrick Soon shiong is more of a pharmacist than a doctor and owns one of the biggest if not the biggest pharmaceutical industry in the world, i'ld like to own one despite not being a pharmacist. Any clue

Pharmacy. As a pharmacist you can set up your pharmaceutical store and make cool cash. You don't have to depend on the government for pay on monthly basis

What of someone that didn't necessarily study pharmacy but wants to set up a pharmaceutical store?
