nationwide1:Can you say anything about PEJ's absence at the inauguration? |
barcanista:You must have being a prophet to have said this. This was an accurate prediction. I hope you still hear from God! |
Is there any section of the law broken by his wife's absence? Did Nigerians vote for his wife? The dinner is a waste of money and time. I wont be suprised if they had spent N2 Billion on the useless dinner. In my opinion, the only 2 thing worth celebrating in Nigeria right now are the fact that the wasteful regime will be over in less than one hour and that GEJ has choosen not to force himself on Nigeria by contesting the result of the election and thereby plunge the nation into chaos. |
lalasticlala:Why are there no bicycle tracks? Why are the aides not using pedestrian footpath? Does that mean they had to close the roads for them to exhibit this nonsense? |
Thanks to you all for the state of the economy. Posterity will either judge you or reward you. Where are all the power plants that were commissioned during the campaign? |
I do not think GMB has any obligation to implement anything GEJ set up. I have couple of questions for Mr President: Why did you set up the NC? Why didn't you implement it yourself? So when you were planning the NC you already had it in mind that you would wait till your 2nd term as president before you implement it? GMB will not implement the NC report. I can place a bet on it. Almost everything done under GEJ regime is to collect money from poor masses to enrich the cabals. Mr president, do you know any other country where 'federal' government collects money from unemployed youth in the name of trying to give them job? Do you know any country where they invalidate the passport of their citizens before the expiration date of the one they have, and charge them money for it? Do you know any country where they coerce people to change drivers licence and registration plates of cars for no sensible reasons other than to put money in the pocket of some cabals who were given the contract to produce the plate numbers. Please stop telling GMB what to do; OBJ obviously didn't influence your government. Finally, stop saying you "took that decision to concede to Buhari" You should be saying you LOST to Buhari. Are you implying that you would have done the same if you had only one vote more than GMB? Buhari got 15424921 votes and you got 12853162, He, therefore, won by 2571759. Please allow Baba to focus on fixing the mess that has been created under your watch; which you know nothing about ![]() Efun Baba laye, Eje ki baba o sanjo. |
Please dont follow his stu*pid link. OP is a wannabe blogger who started with giving wrong information to direct traffic. Nothing on his useless website relates to the topic. |
bigtt76:You are right. I 've had to call their USA number before I could get someone to attend to my queries; One of their directors had to apologize for the poor QoS. That is a Nigerian factor that we all have to deal with sometimes. However, they accept direct deposit in the bank for their service. The OP may need to deal with the quality of service aspect. |

FFK, FFK, FFK!!! how many times did I call you? I know you talk faster than you think. But what you should be worried about is your court case. Go into plea bargain and refund 2 Billion naira or go to jail for 7 years. The choice is yours. |
I am sure half of the money ended up in pockets of the politicians and their cronies. Every politician that has stolen our common wealth will nurse incurable sickness for the number of years they spent ruling and die in the end, leaving their families to kill one another over the stolen wealth. |
kuroben4real:Gen Buhari is yet to be sworn in as president so who is misleading him to do what? His signature is yet to be on any policy document. Must you bring religion into everything in Nigeria? |
Alright Mr. Abati. I am sure you also realise that you will be out of job in 10 days time. Anything you write after that will not attract anyone's attention. When your boss finally settle down to write his memoir we will see how the likes of yourself misled him. |
The man is a muslim, he can marry as many as four. Pls next topic. |
Death penalty for pipeline vandals and their coconspirators. This is treason. |
Not being able to fight corruption, anti people policies and indecision to fight boko haram is what defeated Jonathan. If he had sacked some people the way he has been doing in the last 3 weeks, if he had fought Boko haram the way he has been doing in the last 3 months; throw people like Farook Lawan under the bus and jail at least 5 subsidy thieves; sack Aba Moro, Alison and few other people Nigerians are complaining about; start ground breaking and construction of 2 refineries instead of building some useless almanjiri schools which should have been the responsibilities of state and local governments. He would have won. Instead, all his projects are designed for money making among his cronies. This is what cost him his government. Tinubu should stop saying nonsense. |
Op, what kind of books do you read on your free time? Your write up is like that of someone who read those talisman books; 6 and 7 books of Moses. Pls be careful my brother de-Lawrence books dey turn person head upside down abeg. |
No, they won't dare. They won't risk loosing their loot. |
Can you sell dangote rice at the same rate pls? |
Pa Kasumu, going to USA is a must sir. UK is a different jurisdiction to USA. God who delivered Daniel from the den of lion will deliver you. If you refuse to go peacefully you will be packed in a crate like Umar Dikko; GMB will have no problem in approving your a*s being shipping off. On a brighter side sir; you will not need to pay for ticket or need visa; Uncle Sam will take care of everything. |
I move a motion of death penalty for pipeline vadalism. This is grevious enough to paralize the national economy and should be classed as treason. |
merricherios:Thanks. Follow you own advice. |
Emyogalanya:Thanks for the last part of your comment. GEJ should have hired machineries, if possible; form alliance earlier with other countries, which he did very late and declare war. Fighting Boko Haram should have been declared a war instead of calling it insurgency. On his way out on 28th May he should fire all his defence and service chiefs for not giving him the right and intelligent advice. This is what I would do. I know you are pro GEJ and I like that but do you realize that he had the chance of winning if he had done some things right with his campaign? He should have campaigned with his achievements. he shouldn't have allowed religion and tribes as the points of his campaign. He should not have employed FFK. His campaign was badly managed. 2019 is around the corner. |
Emyogalanya:Bros this is not about party politics. Boko Haram didn't start when GEJ became president. They were there during the presidency of late Umaru Musa Yar'Adua. President Jonathan accepted and confessed that he treated them with kids gloves. GEJ is out because he was voted out not because his government was overthrown by Shekau. If there is any lesson to be learnt from GEJ vs Boko Haram, it is the fact that things you underrate can de-rate you and cost you your position. This, of course, is going by your logic. |
He may not go to jail only if he can provide the evidence that Al Qaeda and ISIS sponsored GMB election campaign as he claimed in March. If he can't provide the evidence then he deserve to go to prison. Infact, it would be great to see him serve his jail term in Kosere prison in Ile Ife so that when he is doing his hard labour some youth will learn from his example to be discrete with the words that come out of their mouth. Nnewi prison will be good for him too so that the young people there can ask him about Bianca. |
I am just wondering if the people rescued recently from Sambisa Forest are actually the wives and kids of the terrorists. How come there is no single one of the Chibok girls among them? May be they deliberately allow their wives and kids to be captured so they can be cared and catered for; it is obvious they are out of resources and with current bombardment of the Nigerian army, even a mad man would like his family protected. I think they are holding on to the Chibok girls as their last bargaining chip for amnesty, should their be any. Has there been anyone claiming relationship with these captured women and children? I find the story of all their husband killed very convenient. Can we get some of the previously rescued people to corroborate their stories. Is it possible that some people actually lives inside Sambisa forest, as a settlement? This is just my opinion. How come with all the raids none of them has been captured alive? We saw the picture of the supposed 'Shekau' alive; only to see him dead in another picture. This Boko Haram thing is becoming like professor Peller's magic to me, where what you see is not what you really see. Please no need for childish rants; this is just my opinion. |
crixtex:I know people like you. I pray one day your employer or prospective employer will ask for your social media handles, including that of nairaland. You will realized that people get denied jobs and opportunities based on the kind of idiots they are on social media. You better realize that your virtual/online life is connected with your real life and stop being infantile. |
shammah1:Why name calling? Is that necessary? We are complaining about kids who writes rubbish like 'GEJ my hero / GMB my hero' and you are here proving the kind of upbringing your parents gave you. Now that you are mature and 18+ cant you learn or teach yourself public speaking? Nigerian youth indeed! |
crixtex:What is the difference between the two statements? Did I say they are allowed? People who write such things are either kids or stupid. It is a waste of time attending to your insult. That is probably the way your dad and mum call themselves 'ode'. I can't imagine my kids saying such to people they don't know on-line just because they can hide anonymously behind their phones. I don't blame you; I blame the people who brought you up the wrong way. |
nnachukz:Was your's an opinion or a statement of fact? What do you stand to gain from making statements like someone used Boko Haram to get into power? Did Yaradua and GEJ used Boko Haram to get to power in 2007? You will be respected if you say things that are honest and not malicious to the reputation of other people. |
Pay cut is a good idea. We also want them to make sure that whatever is cut from the pay is not stolen or wasted. |
nnachukz:Bros you have been advised to stop drinking road side alcohol. Apart from the fact that it is not good for your liver, it is also affecting your thinking and reasoning. What evidence do you have to prove that someone used them to get into power? How come you know this and your president and C-in-C doesn't know? Some people believe that your brothers were using the BH to siphon defence budget: like ferrying millions of dollars in private jet own by one of your brothers to South Africa. Please, always post on nairaland before you drink your kainkain. Its just 5.00am now and see what ogogoro has done to your life. Back to the topic: Nigeria will see the end of Boko Haram. Anyone who support their cause or sympathises with them will never know peace. |
