daviejay:You can improve on the building plan to give the 2 rooms on the left additional windows for cross ventilation. The position of the bathrooms can be changed on the plan. Nigeria can be very hot sometimes. Even if you have AC installed, PHCN can be uncooperative. |
A whole chapter should be dedicated to how he fought corruption vehemently. A section should state how subsidy scammers were jailed. Also how he placed a goat and yam together inside NNPC. GEJ: the best president Nigeria could have had if not for how he let corrupt people took over his government. No be Immortalise, na cremation. |
Is it possible to have some questions to test the intelligence, mental stability and social fitness of people registering on Nairaland? Can you imagine someone calling you mad in real life for asking a question or expressing your view? I still believe very strongly that there is little or no hope for this country with the kind people that call themselves 'leaders of tomorrow' in Nigeria. |
Gov Aregbesola should tell us what he has been doing with the 50% allocation he claim to he receiving from the FG or whatever the percentage. If you are getting 50% from FG then you should be able to, at least, pay 1-2 month salary after 4 month. Where is the money going? What happens to the IGR? I know of a private institution that was shut last year for hundreds of millions of tax. I am pro APC and this can be confirmed by looking at my previous posts and comments. However, I will not support bad governance and wasteful spending. Aregbesola should listen to his enemies to know his weaknesses. He wasted a lot of Osun money on useless projects: erecting statues, airports that is not needed, tallest drum, feeding children etc. Who beg you to feed children? Why are you not bathing them and sew Xmas dress for them? Whose idea is tablets? How many schools in EU is giving tablets to students? They privatised school uniform!!! Where in the developed world is that done? All their projects is to enrich their cronies. Political office holders are getting all their allowances and salaries; no wonder he has not been impeached. Pay people their wages: that is what good employers does and stop replying to Omisore. Nobody I can influence will vote for APC in the next election. |
tempest69:It proves you are a cheat and you are probably doing that for a living. You are not smart. The president already gave order for prisons across the country to be decongested in order to make room for cheats and fraudulent people. |
tempest69:Space booker |
OP, what exactly are you trying to achieve with this nonsense post this early saturday morning when you are suppose to be sleeping? You are talking about Alam's properties siezed by GEJ; is Alam not alive to ask for his property back? You want to take GEJ to ICJ? Do you need transport fare or you want to walk down there? Nonsense. |
showshow1973:The question should be 'Will she accept you back? A responsible man will not be away for 9 months and not know that his wife was pregnant and had baby' How is this question relevant to the post/topic? |
The president should assign some administrators for the bail out to make sure money is spent on paying salaries alone. Governor Aregbesola cannot be trusted. He is reckless and prodigal. He will start some baloon projects like feeding school children, MKO Airport, Opon Imo, erecting statues, helecopters, builing the world's tallest drums and other projects that costs billions of naira and has no direct impact on the people he governs. When a man likes to spend more than he can earn or generate it is an indication of thievery tendencies. Governor Aregbesola is going to waste the money. He is not to be trusted with the money. I have said my own. By the way I am pro APC but Osun state governor is a bad money manager. |
I don't understand what the tittle-tattle about PMB / Osinbajo and security meetings is all about. Does the constitution mandate the VP to be in every meeting called by the president? You people have been saying the president shut him out of the meetings; they were in the same room and some people are saying he is sitting far from the president. Do you want him to sit on the president's lap? I think our concerns should be about what we expect from the government as individuals in order for us to experience changes in our lives. If they like they can move VP's office to Shagamu, move Defence HQ to Sambisa forest and PMB move back to Dodan Barack that it none of my business. What I, along with other sensible Nigerians, want is a country that works; where people can prosper without being corrupt. For those of you who are not happy with where the VP was sitting in proximity to the president; I have moved his chair forward. Hope you are happy now!

What is going to happen to Omoyele Sowore, the owner of Shara Reporter any TV? He was also there when the lady was asking the question. They were both insulting the old man. Does that mean Sowore's career is also over in Sahara reporters? |
worksmart:So he travelled to Chad and Niger republic with presidential jet and an ADC before 29th of May? I don't understand what you are trying to achieve with spreading falsehood. |
With all the noise about this trial the maximum they will give him is 7 years. The law must be amended to give cases of corruption minimum of 100 years. Some people don't deserve to live among men. |
May God help our armies. I believe these Boko Haram people lives among the North East people as well as in those God forsaken forest. The ones blowing themselves up are not coming from inside the forest. We need serious intelligence gathering to know who these people are and those that sympathise with their cause. I still believe Boko Haram is a political war, not religious. PMB should watch the west. They have a history of arming rebels and militants. |
Unfortunately, we are without an opposition party. It's a fact that to be a successful thief you must be hard working. Climbing fences in the middle of the night, facing the risk of being shot etc etc are not for the faint hearted. Being a formidable opposition party requires vision, courage, wisdom and skills that PDP lack at their current formation. Did you ever see APC wasting their time finding out the cost of PEJ's watch? Almost half of GEJ's followers decamped to APC before Buhari was issued certificate of return. It's not just about knowing how to talk, it's about knowing what to say. |
Agbalanze:You obviously didn't understand the point I made. First and foremost, you need to understand that first family are not treated as ordinary citizen, though you may wish they are treated as such. They don't go to any church or mosque without proper security details or clearance. Moreover, security situation in the country may have warranted the action of the secret services. Do you honestly expect the president's daughter to go on her own to the market in Nigeria? This is not the first time the SS will close shop for family of head of state to shop in Nigeria or else where. She doesn't have to order the secret service to order anyone out of the shop. Sorry OP for the embarrassment but things like this happens. |
googlepikin:You have just proved the kind of home you came from. It's obvious your both parents never lived together and you have no proper upbringing. My 7 years old kid knows that it is not proper to abuse people particularly when they have not insulted you personally. In which part of my message did I abuse or insult the OP? People like you may think because you know how to read and write then you are ready to succeed, no!!! You need to understand interpersonal relationship. If or when you ever get a job in an international organisation call your colleague or subordinate a mad man and you will see that people get fired for bad attitude. Consider my reply as my contribution to your deficient education. |
If his son or son-in-law is qualified for the job and the appointment / selection is done via proper procedure then tell me what is wrong with that. Some people are so petty in this country. I am training and grooming my son to take over my organisation when I am retired. It's called succession planning. George Bush senior groomed his son to become American president after him. Would you pray that your qualified son remain unemployed when you have a position suitable for them? |
What is the name and address of the boutique? What time did this happen? To be honest I wouldn't blame the SS; first family are target of kidnapping for blackmail or ransom. Boko haram will do anything for anyone who can detonate a bomb in that supermarket at that very time. I am not saying the scenario is false but we need to understand the country and time we live in. Security is priceless in Nigeria. If you were the president's daughter the secret services will do the same for you. |
shammah1:I don't join issue with people like you. I don't understand why you have to attack my person when we are talking about political parties. If you are the one in your profile picture then I definitely shouldn't be answering your posts. I don't know when PDP become your surname to warrant insult. |
Sorry!!! I never knew you are diabetic. You may want to start working on your weight and cut back on nkowbi and those junk food you are eating.

I support APC but I can categorically say Aregbesola's government is not different from PDP. He is so reckless and wasteful. If a company becomes insolvent and cannot pay staff salary for six month the right thing for them to do is to declare bankruptcy and be dissolved. How long will it take before FG take over the affairs of Osun State and start paying staff salary from the allocations? During the boom, the 'he-goat beared like' governor was busy building the world tallest drums and other phoney projects. Very soon there will be civil unrest in the state and APC will loose the goodwill of the people. I can see APC loosing in Osun in the next election. Thank God people don't need electricity to charge their voter's card. |
Nuhu Ribadu has no business being in the PDP, but as they say; "everybody has their price" We will see how PDP are going to survive as opposition for the next four years; Even if the APC misbehaves it will be hard for PDP to complain as they (the PDP) have perpetuated all sort of mis-governance known to man and it would mean them attacking the rules they set while they were in power. Can PDP now say 'stealing is corruption' now if APC start to steal? It is hard for a man to start learning to write with left hand in old age. As for the budget and national assembly's salary; Senators in Nigeria should not be earning more than the American president. All their basic pay and allowance should be the same as applicable in other third world countries. |
ionsman:The watch can be bought for less than 25,000 naira. Can you believe that? https://www.nairaland.com/2351181/aisha-buharis-inauguration-wristwatch-also |
EverestdeBliu:Bros, what you are suggesting is exactly what GEJ did and you know where he is today. Corruption is a saboteur. You can't have a tangible change and achievement without fighting it. It is like trying to dry a wet mattress in raining season. How will you have infrastructural improvement when it is costing 10 times the actual value and contractors are using fake materials? How can you improve on education when funds for education has been diverted? You can not bring any water home from the river if all you have to fetch with is a basket. Fighting corruption is as important as building infrastructure. Over 16 billion dollars has been spent on power; what is the light situation in your area? |
bunmititi:Did you skip your depression medicine again? Or you have mistaken the president for GEJ? |
OP, they take scamming swear for you? You are looking for people to defraud right? Don't worry, it will be 25 years jail term for 419 cases now. |
Tdhforreal:You made a valid point. |
Tdhforreal:Good question. What is your answer to that? Is corruption a human being? |
AlfaSeltzer:What are you going to gain from his failure? You sound like someone suffering from a mental condition. |
There is no constant electricity anywhere. If it's so in your area that means other places are in darkness. Atiku and Otedola are not the problem with electricity and fuel supply but CORRUPTION. |
luchy34:Can you say anything about PEJ's absence at the inauguration? |
