the duty of those that brought them into the world! ![]() |
the man gives the ring to the woman to cement their engagement, the engagement is broken by the woman, why on earth will she keep the ring? the guy got to have the ring back. the lady keeping is like saying yes, i am interested. give it back and it is over. |
it pains me to see people people arguing on what is obtainable in igbo and writing rubbish. a lot of guys here have lived most of their adult live in lagos and have either forgotten or dont know about igbo tradition. in yoruba or west, the wedding takes place in the brides church but it is not so in igboland. once the bride price has paid(note price and not dowry) and other traditional rites performed, the girl in question becomes a wife and every other function takes place in the man`s place, wedding inclusive. the wedding takes place in the man`s church.(in igboland) |

no matter what dont tell him. silence in this case, is golden. dont be the one that will destroy the "happy" marriage. |
the nigerian men 5 new zealand boys 0 what do they have have to be ashamed of been beaten by their uncles? ![]() |
if you cannot handle her as a woman, let your husband come in. it will make better sense. two, you have to be firm in saying NO. your mild reaction is not getting to her for obvious reason. thirdly, from all you have said, she is up to something. the love for the baby is just too much. i think she is making you lose your ground before she acts. BE WISE. |
what happened during your courtship? didnt you notice all these things? |
thats just the best place to sing. you wont disturb anyone and it gives immeasurable pleasure. furthermore, noone to condemn you of having a bad voice. ![]() |
what my old lecturer will call hasty generalization! |
for those calling adokiye names, i weep for you. i weep for the country because we are all heading for football doom. any one defending chukwudi and his cohort and the NFF should know that in more ways than one, you are contributing to the moral decay in the country. we talk of rebranding, but how do we as a people continue to support that which is bad and immoral, evil and ugly? when you CHEAT , you make yourself inferior , you take undue advantage of your opponent and what this simply means is that your opponent is better than you. must we continue to win cadet championships at the detriment of the real thing? where are the Opabumis of the 2001 edition that won silver? where are the others who would have been regulars in the super eagles? I WEEP. ![]() |
blacknight:BULLET STARS OR BRIGHT STARS? |
blacknight:thank God someone is collaborating what i wrote earlier. |
i want to say a personal thank you to Adosiamasiemeka for his honesty. i am appalled that Nigerians have been calling him name and NFF have equally termed him unpatriotic. for those who believe the honourable Adokiye is not acting in the best interest of the country, shame on them. the truth here is that we are cheating ourselves if we keep parading daddies as under 17, win and clap for ourselves. what do we have to gain by that? does it take our football higher? NO.instead we win a meaningless cadet cup and lose out in the real one.Can anyone of us point out one player in this squad that is trully 17.a player you know his story from day one to now that is 17? instead of NFF covering their heads in shame, they are casting aspersions on the person of Adokiye. for those who may not know, Adokiye is an ex international of the 1980 squad, a lawyer of high repute.he definitely know what he is saying. if the NFF have nothing to hide, let them sue him for libel and deformation of character. I pity our football. NB. A colleague in the office told me this story before the competition started.that they played together. he said his name is fortune chukwudi Uwakwe. my colleague is 29. do the maths. stanley Okoro`s heartland registration states his age as 24. who is fooling who? |
i just feel you are not supportive. if it is not enough, what happens to your own salary? i think if you gave him a justifiable reason to increase it, he will. |
Even with two hours a day of compulsory schoolwork each afternoon for these mature and highly organised Dutch players, Oguzhan is focussed firmly on the football. "This is a World Cup, and a first for us. We want to do our best," said the midfielder, who scored Holland's equaliser from the spot against Colombia. "At the European championships we played well and finished second, and I think that if we play as a team here we can go far. But we will have to do much better than our first game." http://www.fifa.com/u17worldcup/news/newsid=1123974.html#the+oranjes+young+turk This simply shows that as Under 17, they are still monitored, tutored and expected to do what they are to do at their age. But the opposite is the case in Nigeria where fathers of three wear the green and white as under 17. |
comparing Ajegunle and VGC because both of them are in Lagos. |
i am getting 10 at the moment. |
hello all, i have multi tv but the stations are few. is there another frequency i can use to get more? |
better for them to loose their friendlies and gave a good account of themselves than to win the friendlies and have a woeful world cup. nigeria was wining her matches prior to Korea 2002 but performed badly at the mundial. |
i find this funny. i had to double check to make sure i am not in the jokes section. for the avoidance of doubt, there is no comparism whatsoever. Mikel is the only midfielder i know that doesn't score goals. he is the only midfilder that doesnt create chances or detect a game. okocha gave his all for the country while mikel has only given his right hand. okocha was and will always be a star and a legend while mikel will always remain a super brat. |
before i believe him , let him tell me the scoreline of Kenya /Nigeria match and Mozambique/ Tunisia match for all those who believed him, why didnt he tell us the scoreline b4 the match and the time the goal will be scored? ![]() |
the bottom line to all these is honesty and openness! if things are not okay, just spit it out. why live a false live.i went to US and spent three monthe there. i had to come back because i felt i was living far lower than i was in Nigeria. i had to willingly come back. my brother in law lives in the UK and what my wife gets from him in a year is 100 pounds whenever the in laws are coming back. no one makes an extra demand because we all know the the situation of things. as my mother in law will say, if things are difficult in Nigeria, why cant it be in other places. that one is outside the country doesn't mean live will be definitely rosier. it only means you have better opportunities( to an extent) |

The friend fit dey for life & death trouble and desperatlely need temporary place to stay. Chineke go help us.[/quote]reading the views here confirms to me that we are still truly not our brothers keepers. we dont know the type or the intensity of the relationship that is between this three. check it out; what if they have been friends for generations. have you ever been desperately in need and there was only one person who could help and you know he can help? how will you feel if you get no for an answer? go around lagos and abuja, do you know there are families that stay in one room? have we considered the possibilty that the friend here might be the bother? will you turn away your bother because you are married? privacy is important even when you are single but that should not be the only factor to consider. for those who say the wife is stupid if she agrees to this idea i find it laughable. some wives will even encourage their husbands to give a helping hand.my wife is one of those simply because she cant afford to see another person suffer. the world will be a better place if we all learn to love and give a helping hand whenever we can. |
i will thank god. it all boils down to love and understanding. if your wife is rich, it is fr both of you. at least, it reduces your financial involvement and both of you can use the extra cash for a project |
osaze is the most dedicated super eagles player as of now. his contribution, dedication and play is second to none. if 4 other player played the way he did on sunday, i am sure will have been celebrating victory today. |
yes. i can now boast of three hours of light in a week. ![]() |
the sooner we remove our minds from the super eagles the better for us. this is because we will only have headaches to show for it. when was the last time the eagles made us proud. if they have any remorse left in them, they would return the $ 10,000 given to them which they dont deserve. |
that is the most ideal and logical thing to do. |
forget the mistakes of the past, forget the fact that you didnt want to marry her or the fact your parents pushed you into it. what is paramount in now is the fact that she is your wife. you `ve got to treat her as such. you have to live with the fact that you married her and treat her like the wife she is. good a thing she loves you. it makes it easier for you. good luck. |
wonder why this is on front pages. |
