Nairaland is a forum were diverse topics and esteem are discussed in segregate sections. Thereby reducing the quality of content that should be observed despite the fact that it is recognised as a content site.

In this case, i considered dropping this wonderful topic updated on wasiki.com with a link to its completion on the bases of helping anyone who by any means came or will come accross this subsequently.

Wasiki is a school website and probably should be enough for you, and if i dont state an extreme continuing link, how then would you visit next time to read more impressive one if you get to love this one.

As you all know, the rate of exam malpractice is increasing in nigeria, this include bribery (paying money to get good grades) and is commonly called "sorting".

This is mostly as a result of the economic status of the country or as a result of the government not setting appropriate laws that will punish such act of corruption, lot of people dont know that corruption is downgrading the economic growth

Site that doesn't need much consecration in terms of posting and keeping users engaged. If it should. it will solely require your coding skill and debugging (kind of). To keep users engage in such site really requires a huge investment from such an one.

Take a look at the under-listed site considered as automated.

- Twitter
- Google
- Jovago
- Yelp
- Nairaland (could also be considered as an automated site since seun doesn't post nor any of the mods, all they do daily is deliberating and moving post to front-page i guess).

Concur with me that even Jobberman is an automated site.

I started www.wasiki.com as a mere project, although not quite long, but guess what? i haven't even made a dime and yet i have recruited 5 folks who are willing and are currently working for the website, above all wasiki has a residential office situated at No 20 Ndoki street Oyigbo Rivers State.

So what am i insuniating? If you want to make it big online dont priorotise making money at first because that's one of the dangerous weapon that could render one helpless, dissappointed and hopeless which might finally lead to the demise of the blog or website (mark my word)

wasiki is a school website and my major aim is to make it big and famous and also listed among best school information portal in Nigeria, and the momment i achieve this goals, its no more a story that once goals like this are achieved then money will begin to flow.

My advice for you, forget about the money aspect and focus on building a superb platform. Count on me you'll definitely make it up to success.

Meanwhile i will suggest you research and read how facebook, twitter, linda ikeji, google Started and you will find out that majority of them began making their dolls even later than expected of every human.

Is not all about "DEVELOPING" a CMS, the problem is would you be able to mentain it?

- Can you purchase and run on numerous server?
- Are you business wise?
- Are you finacially stable to compete with top wapsite builders, especially wapka?

If you can answer those questions above and find out that you are vulnerable, then i will advice you change your mind because managing a CMS like wapka no be here o i tell you.

Try to make it mobile friendship, if possible code your own design and not purchase.

I think is due time we eliminate this childish mentallity from the webmaster world. day to day webmaster quarrel and engage in cyber melee focused on issues like;

- "wordpress vs blogger"
- "wapka vs php etc".

Most webmasters are enemies today as a result of this issue, dont you think we should mind our own business and see how we can grow big and offer great content to our users. Else if this continues, all those who are included in this childish fight might end up in a side of detriment.

The most important thing in a website is what you offer (quality content). If you can be able to deliver good, witty and superb content to your users then why do you need to bother, by the way we all know our users dont care about the platform we use, rather all they care is how could this website be of help.

On my own part i will advice everyone who dream of owning a website to first;

1. know his passion
2.apply your passion
3.know whether folks tend to like it (and once this question is answered) then you can now go ahead with your prefered platform be it wapka, wordpress, blogger etc.

But on a special note, if you aim at becoming a web-developer, i will advice you never remain at a stand, try to learn and move ahead with your carrier, because that's what help in building your skills and CV.

This is all i have for you guys today, i would share more if need be, but that will be based on my next observation.

I will advice you permanently redirect the wordpress site to your wapka site, because wapka is best at their download feature (cm), since its major features are download and forum.

In no time i believe this issue will come to an end, meanwhile you can still make your decision to remain with any platform your passion is much on, either you permanently move to wordpress or remain in wapka.

Just wondering why our 99% percent of our websites and applications are based on some wysiwyg cms or framework. The sites with high traffic in Nigeria are mostly e-commerce sites and blogs running on one platform that was developed by some white guy somewhere.
Even simple non-dynamic html sites are built from templates in Nigeria. We are the Giants of Africa and this practice is won't up our game in the web development industry if u ask me.
Is it that we are scared of coding or we are dull?

*NL isn't perfect but am happy it's not just another WordPress blog. I pray the owner can get a good team to make NL more social.

yes is very very possible, you just need to contact any sms website, after you guys are done on deliberating, you will be offered an api (code)
