In a lawless society, there's no crime. If LASAA has a statutory duty as enshrine in the constitution of Lagos State then it does not need a police commissioner to interpret its law for it. Let LASAA be fair to all and let the police monitor for neutrality in the discharge of their duty, the political space is like the air, it is wide enough for all. The police seems concerned about the PDPs complain too much with a daft IG even interpreting the constitution of the Nation as if that's his duty. By the way, Tambuwal still remains speaker up till date, isn't that a wonderment. Tot the ignorant, gullible and daft PDP supporters on Nairaland have installed Ihedioha their speaker in Biafra. |
san316:Dimeji Bankole and APC won't mix. Don't know why he is defecting though since all parties have produced their gubernatorial candidates except he want to grab SDP's Senate ticket since the party is still seeking relevance and popularity. The exodus of PDP members under JonaTAN shows how poor he is in leadership and sincerity of purpose. |
LRNZH:Please don't hype that drug baron higher than what he is, An ijebu Igbo moneybag.. what influence does he have even in nearby Ijebu Ode not to talk of Shagamu or Ogun State. Remember CIA dey monitor him, they will package him like some people packaged Umaru Dikko. |

Na Port Harcourt to Otuoke Bus station be that...... |
The pix looks though like one soon to be ex-president who after being deserted by friends and allies dumped him after he was unceremoniously driven out of power and became valueless to the thousands who fed and lived off him when he had power and relevance. |
MODs, lalasticlala please kindly help move this thread to the pets section, it was posted here in error. |
A dog has been found abandoned at a Scottish railway station along with a suitcase containing his belongings. Shar-Pei crossbreed Kai was found tied to a railing outside Ayr station on Friday. His suitcase contained a pillow, toy, food and a dog bowl. The Scottish SPCA is attempting to trace Kai's owner. He was sold on the Gumtree website in 2013, but the SPCA has been unable to track down the address of the person who bought him. Inspector Stewart Taylor said: "The dog is microchipped and we were able to find out his name is Kai. "We contacted the owner registered to the microchip, who stated they had sold Kai on Gumtree in 2013. Unfortunately they could not tell us the address of the person who bought him. "This case highlights the potential consequences of selling an animal online as it often leads to the impulse buying of pets that people know very little about. "Regardless of the fact Kai was left with his belongings, this was still a cruel incident and we are keen to identify the person responsible." Kai is around two or three years old. He is now being cared for at the charity's centre in Glasgow. The SPCA said abandoning an animal is an offence under the Animal Health and Welfare (Scotland) Act 2006. People found guilty of doing so can be banned from keeping animals for life. https://uk.news.yahoo.com/dog-abandoned-station-along-belongings-173730397.html#bJP9VmI

kingDavidda1st:That promise has been and is still being kept in Osun State. Good Governance isn't rocket science as someone mentioned earlier |
beopened:the leadership and direction a country moves either positively or negatively is determined by the President or Head of State. when George Bush was leaving the White House, the American economy was in tatters and almost junk status when an Obama came in, the downfall was reversed and the economy never looked back until the global recession. that's purpose driven governance |
The Good Lord fight the battles of the righteous. The night may seem too long but succor comes during the day. There will be songs of Victory in Aso Rock by the APC come May 29, 2015 no matter the plotting and scheming of the PDP. Victoria Acerta Sai Buhari 2015 |
Governor Rauf Aregbesola of Osun State, on Monday evening, said he was afraid before the conduct of the August 9, 2014 gubernatorial poll in the state, saying “the opposition were even doing a countdown of number of days remaining for us in government. He revealed that his wife, Sherifat, was even planning to start packing their belongings in the Government House some days before the election. Aregbesola, who made these disclosures at an interdenominational service organised to mark the beginning of the year 2015 held at the Governor’s Office, Bola Ige House, in Abere, said “the prayers offered during January 2014 interdenominational service by religious leaders for us to comeback this year have been answered by God.” While alleging that some security operatives who came for the last governorship poll were fake, he observed that a few of them wore students’ belts and put on strange shoes. According to him, “APC secured the largest number of votes on August 9. APC’s votes was second highest in number to votes secured by Governor Adams Oshiomhole during his election. My victory was ordained by God and nobody can do anything to thwart it. The opposition were just exploring propaganda and lies to hold their members ahead February 2015 general election.” While describing the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as a failure since its attainment of power in 1999, Aregbesola charged the electorate to utilise their permanent voter cards (PVCs) as a tool to chase the party away during the forthcoming elections, with a view to bringing about positive change in Nigeria. He stated: “why do we want General Muhammadu Buhari? All primary schools pupils from Primary 1 to 6 throughout Nigeria would be fed freely if APC wins presidential poll. With this development, N3.6 billion we expend annually on school feeding programme in Osun State would be spent on other meaningful projects. Beside, 20,000 people would be employed in each state while the money expended on federal roads by states, including Osun, would be paid back.” Aregbesola, however, attributed the current financial challenges, confronting the nation to incessant theft of 400,000 barrels of Nigeria’s crude oil daily and the sharp fall in the price of oil in the international market, lamenting that the November allocation released to the state by the Federal Government in December, 2014 was N1.1 billion, just as the wage bill of workers stood at N3.6 billion. http://www.osundefender.org/?p=203937 |
Yomieluv:They have a new gathering in SDP. They intend waking up Abiola to come reclaim his June 12, 1993 mandate |
san316:Bankole's brand of politics wont be accommodated in the APC. Amosun need no godfather or anyone to clinch his return to Government House hence they are not enjoying the fact they cant be recognized and regarded. When an Osoba and Bankole can now be part of same political gathering then you know they lack direction and purpose. Amosun indeed is a lucky dude. when you perform diligently, your works will speak for you. |
bameyi:The reality is that he is scared and wary that their time is up. The likes of him and others who feed fat on the commonwealth of the Nation will definitely want the status quo to remain. You need to see the kind of lives their kids live here in the UK and the USA then you will ask the sincerity of Government asking the populace to brace up for austerity while their kins and kiths live in affluence and opulence outside the country. Nigerians need to wise up and decide the path they want for the Nation whether the CONTINUITY JonaTAN represents or the CHANGE Buhari bears |
What is the game plan of the PDP really? Will vote from Benjamin Natanyahu and Isrealis be counted for jonaTAN cos it is obvious the only people on Earth happy with jonaTAN are in Isreal since Nigeria under jonaTAN blocked the Palestinian aspiration for Nationhood. Nigerians however have chosen change and God himself have ordained it, cause the implosion and cry of injustice by core PDP members who are running away from the party in droves can't be mere coincidence but God perfecting the emergence of General Mohammadu Buhari in the February 14th Presidential Election. "A divided camp is easy picking for the opposition", A house divided within itself is obviously a defeated home. God truly have heard the cries and wailings of poor hungry Nigerians who daily yearn for a true and sincere Leader. |
The Ogun State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Tuesday said it is not bothered by the defection of former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole, to the Social Democratic Party (SDP), saying the defection poses no threat to the electoral fortune of the party in the forthcoming elections. PDP added that Bankole who boycotted the governorship primaries conducted by the party in the state no longer commands electoral values that could ensure victory for anybody or political party at the poll. The state Chairman of the PDP, Bayo Dayo, who made this known in Abeokuta, the state capital, while fielding questions from reporters during the inauguration of the state’s 35-man Governorship Campaign Committee at the party secretariat, dismissed Bankole as a paper weight politician. He said: “I always say the truth. I heard it (Bankole’s defection) last night and I can tell you as I have said earlier, it’s a free world, everybody has the right to be associated with any group that he wishes. But if that is done, you will then know and the people in Abuja will know who is on the ground. “Bankole contested the position of House of Representatives in one local government when he was in office as the Speaker of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and lost. “Let him now contest in 20 local government areas and let us see the outcome. I challenge them to the fact that come February 14, you will all see the result of whatever arrangement that is going on. ” “Some people, when they live in glass houses, they will not know that there are other people looking at them. “Let him contest under any platform and people in Abuja will know whether he is actually on ground or not. That is all I have to say. We cannot force everybody to stay in PDP. Our prayer is that the more people that are going out, more people that are more than them should be coming to the party. And with that, we are going to win the election come February 14 by the grace of God.” http://www.osundefender.org/?p=204073 |
igbsam:No they won't, they are children of hate, anger amd confusion. It is okay when JonaTAN goes and kneel down in front of Adeboye claiming to be humble but is an abomination when Adeboye and Buhari stand few metres away from each other in a program. |
dre11:Don't mind the blind and hate filled bigots who cry when they are beaten in their own game. |
The program is a Lagos state government thanksgiving service, held at Alausa, Ikeja and not at the redeemed church or redemption camp. It is not a church program but a thanksgiving service to thank God for the progressive achievement in Lagos State and Buhari was there on the Invitation of governor Fashola not pastor adeboye, hence his none removal of cap in the program. Tot the PDP said their campaign will be issue based, I guess these are the issues affecting the bad economy and corruption in every sphere of governance in 9ja and the inability of government to pay salaries of federal civil servants. |
I wonder why Adeboye and same Mbaka were not asked to be sanctioned when they ordained and openly supported the daft one in .2011. The truth must be spoken to power. If JonaTAN has delivered on the goodwill he rode on in 2011, I'm sure the pastors who openly.support him won't go back on their support. They are just showing their disaapointment at the failure and stupidity of the man they anointed. |
Reading this rekindle my hope in Buhari and the believe in Nigeria. I long to see a Nigeria of my dreams, A Nigeria that is respected and regarded in the comity of Nations. A Nigeria of Tafawa Balewa, Obafemi Awolowo, Nnamdi Azikiwe and the Sardauna of Sokoto with every region developing at it's pace and corruption isn't celebrated as an achievement. |
Keshi was more of a controversy than a coach with the Super Eagles. The luck of the Nations Cup victory got so much into his head he felt he was better than Joachim Loew and hence he was so special and above opinions and advise. Glad he has been cut down to size with the ridicule of not qualifying for the nations Cup after all the presidential support. A coach who cherish his personal ego more than National Pride does not deserve to lead a National Team |
The Seattle Sounders striker has speculated on why he was left out of the national team by the Big Boss which has led to calling time on his international career Striker Obafemi Martins has said that his being frozen out of the national team was due to coach Stephen Keshi’s personal decisions. The Seattle Sounders forward just came off a season where he led his side to Major League Soccer play-offs as well as winning the Supporters’ Shield. Despite being in top form and scoring 17 goals in the just ended season where he earned nomination for the Most Valuable Player award, Martins was ignored for the Super Eagles’ 2014 Fifa World Cup campaign. Last month he called time on his international career after earning 39 caps and scoring 18 goals in the span of 10 years playing for the Eagles. Martins played two matches under Keshi’s watch in 2013 – a friendly against Venezuela in Miami and a World Cup qualifier against Kenya in Calabar – without scoring. http://leadership.ng/sports/399707/keshi-hates-face-martins |
The most stupid people in the world are those supporting the PDP. Imagine someone trying to distinguish JonaTAN from OBJ? Didn't they rule under same party? Whether na OBJ or YarAdua or JonaTAN, they are all children of same useless mother. The worst, most corrupt political party in the world. No one can distinguish JonaTAN from his predecessors, Nigerians were fooled into saying we are voting JonaTAN and not PDP not knowing JonaTAN was the worst of the lot. |
Guidette:Thanks, I wish you what you wish for me. May your prayers and your dreams be actualized too. |
kaboninc:The best schooled professor in your village will not compare with my dog. It is stupidity and cluelessness to counter words from the horsesman. Did my post says something different from what the CBN said at his confirmation and what he did few weeks later. If you lack education and intelligence , ask and I won't deny you or your entire lineage. |
AlfaSeltzer:Never knew there is a school called FRANCE whose principal is called Hollande. I love my mention being quoted by intelligent people please. |
AlfaSeltzer:Really I don't discuss or argue on non intellectual discussions. The NIgeria Military has 3 recruitment process, either through depot for non commissioned officers and privates, NDA for those with secondary school certificates or Direct short service commission for those with HND and BSc. If Buhari said he attended Present day Barewa College amd the school has not denied that statement as a farce and the military acknowledged he was commissioned as a second lieutenant after he graduated from the NDA then it smack of illiteracy to even discuss this subject matter. There is nothing to discuss about the topic like I said. . |
atlwireles:None of his training were self sponsored. They were professional training organised N paid for by the Nigeria Army with tax payers money. To even bring the issue as a campaign topic smack of ignorance and stupidity by PDP. When all the trainings he attended were entirely for his command and staff duties as a soldier. When the PDP has nothing to campaign with after 16years of bein in charge rather than this kind of dull gist then the citizenry should be worried. A good party that have stay for 16years should be telling the populace what it has done over the years and why those development needs to be continued if it believe it has done creditably well. |
Only delusional nonentity will even believe the fabricated story of no certificates or records. There is nothing to discuss about it cos there is nothing to discuss in it. |
