El-Rufai was the first to start dancing naked in the market place. Was that fake news?

Ganduje has joined.

I think Badaru has also done the same.

One wonders how Naira redesign equates to destruction of APC. Can someone make it make sense?

Illiterate, you can't declare state of emergency in a state without the majority vote in the National assembly. As it is today, Buhari has lost the popular support. He can never get the required number.

El-Rufai is using his own hands to invite State if Emergency in Kaduna.

If he dares Buhari, a sole administrator will be appointed for Kaduna who will carry out the directives of the president.

All these trash he’s saying is just so he can use the old notes he has stashed at home to buy votes.

I just hope Kaduna people will not join him in this foolishness.

Gone with the wind.

So what Tinubu supporters have had for Buhari all along is fake love hoping he will help rig Tinubu in as president 🤔?

Shebi Tinubu say he’s the only one that can face Atiku? Why are his supporters crying?

Abi the facing he meant was in Buhari opening Nigerian treasury for him to buy votes?

Politics › Naira Crisis: Buhari Must Not Let Tinubu Errand Boys Embarrass The FG. by Penguin2(op): 12:45am On Feb 16, 2023
Tinubu promised to fight dirty and seems to have been doing just that since he picked up the APC ticket.

The latest is his opposition to the Naira redesign policy which he and his supporters have argued that it was designed to put him at a disadvantage.

This has led him to recruit some of APC governors to sue the FG in an unmeritorious case at the Supreme Court.

But it would be a shame if Buhari lets these guys win.

Tinubu has to be taught that he cannot hold this country to ransom through some nonsense influence.

The bad guys must not win.

Amaechi boys were there because the flag handing over rituals will be performed at the rally by the National Chairman.

Amaechi and Tonye Cole have no issues with the National Chairman of the party, just as receiving the flag as authentic candidates of APC was a necessary ritual for APC candidates. That’s why they were there.

You will see results on Saturday 25th. Calm down.

Law Degree over Emilokan.

Who Tinubu help.

Believe me when I tell you that Tinubu will lose Rivers scandalously.

And Wike’s governorship candidate, Sim, will lose the gubernatorial election in Rivers.

Rivers is 200% Obidient.

One thousand Wikes and Tinubus can’t change that fact.

This is why it is difficult for me to believe. The goodnews is that we have less than 2 weeks to wait and see. Everything should become clear Saturday 25th. Whatever happens on that day, we Nigerians MUST find a way to heal our wounds and come together to help the new President to succeed.

Good luck to all the candidates and their teeming supporters.
Good luck to Nigeria, most especially.

While they are planning on how to suppress the votes of Southeast to hurt Obi, God continues to cause disarray in their own camp.

Danjuma Goje shunned their rally yesterday in Gombe.

Today, Rotimi Amaechi shunned their rally in Rivers.

God is putting Ogbaghara in their midst.

And everything is working out for good for an Obi victory.

80%?! That's very large. I don't believe it. But, if you're right then obi is far more popular than I think and that means he might just win the presidency outright.
Igbos don’t invest in unviable venture.

If we knew Peter Obi doesn’t stand a chance, we would have been the first to tell him to go and rest.

When Ojukwu contested in 2003, we ignored him and voted Obasanjo because we knew he didn’t stand a chance.

When Orji Uzor Kalu contested in 2007, we ignored him and voted for Yaradua because we knew he didn’t stand a chance.

We are supporting Obi now because we see that there’s a pathway for him to victory.

Don’t let Tinubu noisemakers deceive you.

I don’t know about Tinubu and Atiku but Obi will most likely do 80% in Rivers.

Gerrard59:
Not possible. If so, the combination of him and Atiku in 2019 should have done so, yet such did not happen. Tinubu knows, just like Buhari knew, that he cannot win states in both regions. But he can get the minimum requirement. I am willing to bet he gets that in at least nine states. His chances are high in Delta, Edo, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Abia, Enugu, Imo and Ebonyi. Atiku and Obi would have to share the spoils as any who wins them would have a pyrrhic victory. Tinubu gets his 25%, that is all. What PO supporters should wish is not aiming to win both regions outrightly, but Tinubu not to get 25%. The fewer the states he (Tinubu) gets 25% from, the better for PO.

Mind you, Obi needs more states to garner 25% from than Tinubu. Atiku will even get that needed 25% more than Obi. The minimum is 25% across 24 states. Could you mention those states Obi can get 25% from?
You are so far away from reality.

Have you seen ANAP latest poll that gave Tinubu just 3% in the whole of Southeast?

You think it’s a joke, right?

That’s how you guys were wagging your tails that with Wike’s support for Tinubu, Rivers is in the bag for Tinubu but I’m sure the Port Harcourt rally has given you a reality check.

Tinubu will not get 5% of votes cast in any Southeast state. Go and write this down.

Politics › Re: Can Obi, Tinubu Or Atiku Get Over A Million Votes In Any State In This Election? by Penguin2: 4:49pm On Feb 15, 2023
wegevv:
I support Obi but a million votes in Lagos seems very optimistic. Lagos didn't give anyone over 800k votes in the last two elections.

I think it would be virtually impossible for 2 candidates to get over a million votes in Lagos now that there are 3 candidates. if it is possible for any candidate to get over a million votes in Lagos then only the winner will get it imo.
There have always been voter apathy in Lagos.

That’s why a state with about 5million registered voters only produces about 1 million votes when you put the votes gotten by all candidates together.

But I want to believe that Obi candidacy will change that as more Lagosians seem ready to come out and vote this time around.

That makes sense.

Let me ask a question then. If Tinubu wins the popular vote and has the spread in 25 states but not in FCT, would you concede if you were Peter Obi or would you take it to the courts for interpretation (assuming Peter Obi is second and in line to contest a possible runoff)?

It's vague enough that I think all the parties would appeal to the courts in that position. And that's my problem with the uncertainty.

Ultimately it is not clear and needs to be rewritten.
You are right.

Further explication has just proven that that provision might end up being more ambiguous and technical than we have always thought.

This is going to be the toughest election in Nigeria’s history.

Meanwhile, Tinubu BATstards are still burning tyres and constituting nuisance to public peace.

The ones sponsored by Folarin are burning theirs in Ogbomoso.

The ones sponsored by Omo Agege are burning theirs in Warri.

While the ones sponsored by Eleyi of Ogun are burning theirs in Sango Ota.

I’m expecting Ganduje and Elrufai group to start their own in Kano and Kaduna respectively.

That’s what they will do until February 17th deadline for deposit of old notes will also elapse and they will go deposit the money with Elrufai.

Ndi ala!

Politics › Re: Can Obi, Tinubu Or Atiku Get Over A Million Votes In Any State In This Election? by Penguin2: 1:45pm On Feb 15, 2023
wegevv:
It has happened 7 times in the last two elections.

In 2019 Buhari's APC got over a million votes in 2 states (Kano and Katsina) and came very close in Kaduna with approx. 993k. Atiku did not get close in any state. The highest votes PDP got in a single state last time was approx 650k in Kaduna.

In 2015 Buhari's APC got over a million votes in 3 states (Kano, Katsina and Kaduna) and came very close in Bauchi with approx. 992k. Jonathan's PDP also got over a million votes in 2 states (Rivers and Delta) and came close in Akwa Ibom with approx 953k.

This year there seem to be 3 major contenders in many of the most populous states. Do you think Obi (LP), Tinubu (APC), Atiku (PDP) or Kwankwaso (NNPP) can get over a million votes in any states?

True.

Maybe what the law states is that you must get 25% in Abuja too.
