The only reason I wanted to see GEJ become APC candidate is because I wanted to see karma served on Tinubu and Amaechi.

I wanted to see their faces when the man they castigated so badly is made to repeat the fruit of all they laboured to build.

Other than that, GEJ coming in to the race would have been bad news both his reputation and for southern Nigeria.

We don’t want someone who would go there and do only 4 years and handover to north again.

GEJ should go and sit down.

His part in the Nigerian history is done and history will be kind to him.

For some reasons, Buhari regime has been lucky to have Muslims heading strategic international positions that ordinarily would have blacklisted a murderous government like his.

ICC prosecutor is a Muslim.

UK foreign minister is a Muslim.

These are two powerful men through whose office Buhari would have been held accountable for his atrocities.

Nnamdi Kanu’s, for instance, would have been handled a lot more differently had a Christian been UK foreign minister.

APC yoruba branch are praying for Wike (whom they hated when APC-Amaechi was fighting him with AAC during his election) to pick PDP ticket, so that they can pick Tinubu or Osinbade and kill off the PDP party.
They know the east will rather sit at home if we have a Tinubu (or any yoruba) vs Wike situation on both parties.

PDP must wait for APC to pick their own candidate first if they want to survive 2023, I have said it a thousand times.

If APC pick SW, send the PDP ticket north immediately. That's the real sophicated politics. If it must come south it should be SE vs SE as SW have taken their turn.

I’ve said it before that if Wike gets PDP ticket and Tinubu gets APC ticket, I will personally campaign for Tinubu and make sure everyone around me votes for him.

I still maintain that people like Sowore and Moghalu should try contesting for some regional posts like governorship or senate or even House of Rep.

They should demonstrate to us what they can do at regional level so we determine if we can hand them bigger assignments. Until then, they are jokers.

The only reason people like Peter Obi, Tinubu, Amaechi, etc, are having edge in the 2023 political discourse is because these men have demonstrated what they can do at regional level which gives us some level of confidence that if the country is entrusted to them, they will deliver.

So, please, let’s focus on serious people and less these frivolities and time wasters and space occupiers.

The results were announced by the state collation officer, Felix Alako, at exactly 6:50 p.m" . This was with power of incumbency and suppression of votes, APC got 56% and PDP got 44%. Fastforward to electronic transmission of results, APC cannot achieve more than 51%. Oh, may be you think the 44% PDP got was because of Atiku, no it was a direct result of Obi on PDP ticket.

Tell them facts bro.

Atiku knows that his only chance in 2023 is to pick Obi as his running mate again.

And this time, it will be straight up victory.

Because with Electronic Transmission of results, votes from war-torn Yobe and Borno will no longer be inflated nor would fictitious numbers manufactured in Kano.
