Romance › Re: Why Would You Consider A Second Wife ? by Pennywise(m): 4:45pm On Feb 05, 2012
If u are a Nigerian male, successful and  living in this country it takes a lot of will power to remain monogamous. There is an ever present corterie of beautiful young/mature, intelligent women with the best genetic make up who want to have a piece of you.

Very interesting question

queensmith:
^^ you make sense. Esp the point of the australians. Its probably seen as less of a crime when they are using the women consensually than the women being psycologically abused via romance scams.
Or maybe what is done by the nigerians is on a much larger scale than a few white tourists that bring revenue to the country.
But i guess your right ,in the end the govt used the opportunity to be racist since there were no consequences.
Doesnt mean nigerians dont need to fix up.
Interesting. So the govt is looking out for the heart of their women. Hardly STDs. grin

If u look at the number of visas granted Austrialian sex tourists annually, u will realize that what Nigerians get dont even come close.

Yes Nigerians need fixing up. Like Australians. British. Russians. Malaysians and Singaporeans.
Politics › Re: The Geopolitical Stakes In Nigeria: The Curious Role Of The Imf By F. William E by Pennywise(m): 2:51pm On Feb 05, 2012
If u cut your coat according to cloth like most responsible govts do, you wont have to go cap in hand when the chips are down.

Common sense is commoner than most people care to admit.

This author can write till thy kingdom come. The truth is we went to the IMF. The IMF didnt come to us.
Politics › Re: Pension Cartel ‘rakes In N3.3b Monthly’ by Pennywise(m): 2:17pm On Feb 05, 2012
It looks like this team was purposely tasked to look into the Nigerian Police pension scheme. Which is why they cannot probe too deep. We dont want the entire structure to come crumbly down. Gray is a color, agreed. Even then, there are different shades.

The sad part is that GEJ is either completely ignorant of all these things or he is in some way incapacitated. Its really hard sometimes placing this 'president'.
Romance › Re: The State Of Our Nigerian Men by Pennywise(m): 1:26pm On Feb 05, 2012
The only reason we see these govts openly stereotyping Nigerians is bc they are fully aware that we have a "non govt"- one  that is of no consequence.  There is a lot of Australian men making the short trip to Indonesia to smoke pot, sniff coke patronize cheap whores and spread diseases. Same in Malaysia and Singapore but u dont hear them being openly denigrated or their citizens being asked to stay away from these people.

What these govts have done is to give an official voice to the prejudice many asians hold towards blacks and in doing this make it okay to despise us.There are good Nigerian men just as well as there are bad ones. The women who date these men except in only rare cases know that they are either fraudsters or drug pushers. If they have good locales that can make them as happy, they will drop our men in a heart beat. But they dont. So they go ahead with these relationships at tremendous personal cost/risk which is why these women should be respected.

One can reasonably surmise that this is another embarrassing social consequence of failed and irresponsible governance that has resulted in Nigerians being global destitutes. How else can one explain desrcimination from a people who typically are dwarfs with faces that look like shi.t If we truly have a government the statement by these countries would either have been denied or repudiated

Politics › Re: Al-Mustapha Is Innocent - Fani Kayode by Pennywise(m): 4:26pm On Jan 31, 2012
Who reads the crap that Fani Kayode writes? Fani Kayode- a thief, a turncoat, a barefaced liar, petty womanizer, fake intellectual. I have no patience for people like this. People should stop giving Fani Kayode all these attention bc it is unmerited.

He should take the verdict like a man and go hang

Also categorizing other past leaders in hell.? Are you not the same humans as they are?.? Please people let's not say that, it is wrong,  Only God Almighty has that power.
Sorry bro. But this one is going to hell. He cant be helped.

Everyone forgets that this villain attempted a coup from jail. He planned to have someone use an RPG to bring down OBJ's chopper the way John Garang of Sudan was killed.

If I was president I would have since had him for lunch in the interest of state security.

That small rat shld shut up. He didnt need to make a statement. Neither he nor Oando can survive even the most basic scrutiny of the books. And why did it take him so long to speak up? He should enjoy his loot quietly rather than draw unnecessary attention to himself and Oando

Business › Re: Panic In Airtel As Court Orders Company To Reverse Name To Econet Wireless by Pennywise(m): 12:37pm On Jan 30, 2012
Interesting and curious judgement. But isnt there something immoral about naming a company after a shareholder with an insignificant 5% of a company's shares. That goes with other decisions taken by the remaining 95% shareholders of the company.

This judgement cannot survive an appeal court ruling and should be investigated.

Culture › Re: How Far Back Can You Trace Your Ancestry? by Pennywise(m): 11:47am On Jan 29, 2012
I made a deliberate effort to look into my ancestry recently. It was easier on the maternal side, they being better educated and I dare say better structured than the other half. I was able to convincingly trace my root back to circa 1780. There were a few colourful characters. Some were very well accomplished. I knew abt some big names living in distant cities but had no clue we were related.

I have observed that at some point every man (woman) would like to know about these things. I had fun going about mine. Now I have a detailed family tree drawn out in my PC and I know that my kids when matured enough will be asking the sort of questions I have been asking and I will be ready.

Absolutely no direct correlation between virginity and good behaviour.
