Stop this high sounding words. What Nigeria needs is a president who will say to hell with oil earnings which by the way is dwindling so fast. A president who will actively diversify the economy in collaboration with state governors who often lack such initiatives. Note that any attempt for any FG to act in silo with its diversification initiatives without state governors like Buhari did will never achieve much.

Nigeria is a country with so much young population and so much agricultural, livestock, marine, mineral, human capital resources and massive entrepreneurship drive but so much unproductivity (joblessness) and waste of resources due lack enabling environment.

Let's produce to dominate West African market and then Africa up to the world stage to earn forex and become prosperous once again. A country with money reinvests in education, infrastructure, health, etc. to become more prosperous.

Explain in details and with facts not with emotions and assumptions.

There isn't a Northern Christian in the North who had enough clout and influence to bring large Northern votes to the APC next year.. If there is, name him. Remember Tinubu is contesting with core Northerners with big influence such as Atiku and Kwankwaso. He need big Northern votes to augument his southern vote which will be almost halved by PO.
Election is being contested to be won and it isn't won be emotions but by strategies.

Babachir Lawal and Dogara (two of the biggest Northern christians) didn't even win their own polling unit for APC in the North in 2019 elections even though Buhari with cult followership was on ballot. Shettima won not just his polling unit or even his LG for APC but the Borno State with a wide margin.

Abiola tried it and he won. And the fact that his election was canceled wasn't because of his running mate was a northern Muslim but something else. So stop asking what happened.

Today, Tinubu do not need the Igbos to win just like Buhari didn't need them to win. You gats stop being too emotional and accept that hard truth.

So I ask you again.. How was his State after his tenure compared with other States with similar revenue and allocation?
Was the health sector the best in the East after his tenure?
Was Anambra infrastructures the best in the East after his tenure?
Was education the best in the East after his tenure?
Was Anambra IGR the best in the East after his tenure?

So what extraordinary thing did he do as a Governor that makes him better than Tinubu or Kwankwaso?

Only Tinubu increasing the IGR of Lagos from N600 million to N12 billion before he left office dwarfs all Peter Obi records combined.

While this is good, I think Lagos state needs a a rail line to evacuate containers from the deep sea port to a dry port located in Epe or Ijebu Ode…routing and hauling containers through the streets of Ajah, Ikoyi, Obalende, Victoria Island, Lagos Island through carter bridge and third main land is a traffic disaster waiting to happen. Instead they should consider the Epe corridors connecting Ijebu Ode to the East, South and North.

Not just that.
The railway Buhari is building to Niger is to be connected to this Lekki seaport through the Lagos-Ibadan, Ibadan-Kano and Kano-Maradi rail.

Niger is a landlocked country and they import and export things through other coastal countries and not through Nigeria. So with this, Buhari is linking the railway all the way to Kano and then to Niger (read about the Lagos-Kano-Jibiya or LAKAJI corridor). That way, Niger would import and export through Lekki seaport making it more viable and boost FG revenues through export and import duties and taxes.

And he's also doing similar thing in the East by linking Bonny port in PH to maiduguri for the same reason.

So linking the port to "Epe or Ijebu Ode…routing and hauling containers through the streets of Ajah, Ikoyi, Obalende, Victoria Island, Lagos Island" is just a small part of the game.
