Politics › Re: Male Suicide Bomber Kills 3 Civilian JTF Members Near Maiduguri by persius555(m): 1:24pm On Jun 14, 2015
Boko haram was never a force that could contend with the authority, but somehow out of political greed the powers that be then allowed it to grow into this monster. Suddenly, shekau has gone missing. We will overcome.
Politics › Re: Pregnant Boko Haram Victim Keeps Her Baby Despite Rejections From People: Pics by persius555(m): 5:46pm On Jun 13, 2015
Big ups to everyone who has shown support to this ladys decision. The unborn children owe it to well meaning nigerians and nigeria as a country. As a nation we have rejected the beast in boko haram and stood up for humanity because we are humans just as the babies too. The fundamental beliefs of boko haram will be defeated as those children will get the best of education that the country can afford. They will become doctors, lawyers, academicians, engineers, astronauts, then and there boko haram will be put to shame. We are not beasts, we are human.

I don't want to believe this compiled crap.
BUHARI! BUHARI!! BUHARI !!!
HOW MANY TIMES I CALL YOUhuh
How come the civil service salary and allowances are not structured that way too. Our democracy is built on a fraudulent foundation.Scam of the highest order.

one thing russian and nigeria have in common is deep rooted corruption. Its going to be a contest of who woould outwit the other. Very laughable.

This is a big lie. These girls can be from Chibok. Anyone that served in the Northern Schools will know that a transformation of such will take nothing less than 10 years to occur if truly the girls are from Chibok.
Now you know what poverty induced malnutrition can do to your health. God, there is hardship in this land full of honey, nairalanders dey doubt if these are truly the chibok girls. Our past leaders have done more harm to this country than BH has done in six years.

the recent flood in Lagos. I don't see
how this could have grown this big in
the city without being killed. And this

There is a ecological green zone just after opebi salvation. That place is a safe habitat for animals like monkey, snake, crocodile.

A good football analyst would know that these boys are far from exceptional. They did their best, but from the first game against brazil, i sensed they wont go far. Bringing the same set of u-17 to this competition was not the problem, our footballer just like hip pop stars are very bad at managing stardom.
Education › Re: Lautech Student Dies Due To Ill Equipped University Health Center by persius555(m): 1:47pm On Jun 10, 2015
Health care centres in nigeria are not built to save lives, but for some people to earn salary and political relevance.

good,
about time lazy Nigerians diversify their economy using agriculture and technology.
Nigerians are the most mentally lazy, lacklustre and clueless people with a large population.
I want the oil to finish.
Go to kuwait and see mentally lazy people. The vast majority of nigerians dont benefit for the oil wealth, but somehow we survive. Backward govt policies is encourages laziness.

Good, time to drink your worthless oyel. The only people keeping crude oil prices high are the Saudis aka US puppets.
No, its the other way round. Saudi wont cut production to sustain the current oil price. The saudi oil minister made it known that the saudi kingdom will not cut supply at a time when prices fell to 40 dollar. The only reason the US is buying from saudi is that they are best of allys in the middle east and their oil is cheaper in terms of impact on the environment. The current price of 65 dollars is artificially controlled by crude oil traders.

Bosch, a german company i have known since childhood has just opened office in lagos. The reason is they cant continue to ignore the huge market. We have the market, we should bargain they bring the technology and we localise and its a win-win all across the board. A country like germany doesnt have the population to consume its product, we are a nation no one can ignore. PMB should work on our trade relations and the infrastructure, we are good to go. businessdayonline.com/2015/06/bosch-to-open-nigerian-office-in-lagos/#.VXfzXRzTWgg

Our development should not be about crude alone and it definitely should not be about any nation thinking they should punish us because we make friends who are not to their liking.

China has been fixing our railroads since the Abacha days and it still has not worked. Do not get me wrong, I do not doubt the capacity of China to make or build things at a cheaper price than most other nations. I have a problem that a country that hangs people for corruption in its own country would turn a blind eye when our leaders go to their country to buy outdated trains worth 100 Million Dollars and we are invoiced 1 Billion Dollars while they sell better trains to a place like Ethiopia for 400 Million Dollars.

We must impress on our Leadership to work hard at making the economy less dependent on oil; this is the only way that we can take control of our destiny. The British controlled it for so long and all it gave to us was leaders who had no vision other than keep us performing to benefit London.
Food for thought.

We must respect the office of the President of the largest economy, and the most populous country in Africa. PMB rose to the rank of a general when most of you were not born. He is our president accord him that respect. You only make foools of yourself and your country by calling our amiable commander in chief a dullard. Nairalanders this must stop!

If only we can dump that dependence on oil once and for all
Maybe embrace tourism like Dubai and UAE and Mix i with Oil for once
Technological innovation is the way to go. The tourism sub sector is hinged on other social economic factors like security, proper transport system etc. We just need to get the power sector working and things will gradually fall into place.

BUHARI'S WEEKS OLD TENURE- EMBRACED THE WEST WHO PLAN TO REINVEST IN OUR OIL, CHINA OPTS OUT.

INTERNATIONAL POLITICS TAKING FULL EFFECT, THEY SHOULD PLEASE NOT DECIDE OUR COUNTRY O!
The earlier PMB realises that in international politics, only those with the market and technology have a certain level of leverage and advantage the better for the smooth running of this economy under his govt. It is the USA and China that needs us not the other way round.

I am loving the fact we might have to learn the hard way. When a few of us kept telling most nigerians to open their eyes to the wastefulness of politicians they didn't listen. Now poverty should force them to.
Nigeria is too rich and blessed to be impoverished. We just need to change our psyche. Its not going to be business as usual, the new govt somehow gives me hope that we can get it right again. Nigeria needs prudent managers not the set of nicompoos we have had in the last three decades.

We don die finish be dat oooh,

But if Nigeria wants to also hold dem in ransom , PMB should lias with other major african countries that imports massively like Nigeria from china. Let me see how their economy will grow. Correct me if u think otherwise. 80% of china's products both standard and substandard products ends up @ d shores of african countries, thereby booming their revenue, if africa can withdraw, den china will hear nwiiiiiiii.

But how can we withdraw. When we re not self sufficient in terms of production, 90% of what Nigerians use are imported, most of dem from china, likewise so many other african countries.

I think this chinese decision is not in any were connected to d just concluded G7 summit in germany, china was not in attendance + india.
China itself is a timebomb like russia pre soviet era. Its heavily dependent on africas cheap raw materials for its industries. Africa uniting against china? I dont see that happening soon.

Left to me, PMB should solidify our patnership with brazil, India, Iran. These countries share a lot with us. Their focus is self sustainance, when last did these countries seek assistance in the US-China axis. China is gradually imposing itself on economic power brokers on the global stage. At the moment, china holds the ace card in the continent, everyone is going cap inhand to china becos it has enough in its foreign reserve, we shouldnt stoop low to be anyone's puppet. The nigerian industrial spirit will outshine crude oil.

Saudi are one of the guys keeping it low. They have repeatedly refused to cut their production to kick shale gas off market
A saudi oil minister last month on bloomberg insisted they would hold it out until shale producers cant finance their expensive shale production. Quoting him, If they cut production and prices go up, guess who would step in and fill the gap? Saudi has enough to fund its budget deficit for four years, cant say the same for nigeria. PMB just has to summon courage, diversify our economy. Manufacturing, steel production, mining, power sector revitalization, agriculture, refinery. Revitalising these sectors is key to economic development. Many third world countries are doing well without oil, we should get our acts together, its time nigeria invoke that industrial spirit that we are known for. Who needs china or USA, India is walking this path, its time we follow suit.

Point of correction, PMB did not disengage them. The last govt did after their contract had ended. I am not sure the president is predisposed to this.

You guys dont understand it. It is the fellow presidents that are feeling privileged to be seated next to him. Buhari was a president at a time when obama was probably defending his high school project. Non of the other presidents would have the opportunity of serving twice as a president in their lifetime.

with relocation, am still doubting if that will be effective, because all bokoharam has to do is shift their own base also
Which is what we should pray for. I bet u they wont do that. Terror cells dont plan attacks in military fortified zones. Their chances of getting busted is greater. For sure, they wont launch an all out attack on the command centre, it will be open genocide of boko haram. With their resources already dwindling and little chances of resupply, they would rather make do with sucide attacks. I just wish the military will think out of the box, BH is already cornered.

Take resocorps advice. Adopt the raid level approach, but i doubt if your motherboard would support more than two hard drive. Another headache would be finding a motherboard hardware that would work seamlessly with your drives. Your boss simply wants to invite chaos as the system would be susceptible to a crash.
