vimi:Roger.Copy that.Lets have the link when u are ready.Late already. Nigeria needs to go to bed.Switching to hibernation mode. LOL |
all4naija:Why are you so pessimist, all your posts vibrate negative energy. FYI, the last set of people who ruled nigeria before yesterday are bunch of selfish, unpatriotic nigerians who will wreck havoc on any nation's economy including USA, China if given the opportunity. The power sector despite the billions of dollars worth of investment(mostly contracts that are over inflated in figures) is already poised for improvement, if and only if govt croonies with vested interests are willing to let the system work for the citizenery to enjoy. The nation's economic woes is some peoples prosperity. With proper management of the nations resources and our sheer population, its only a matter of time b4 nigeria finds itself among the ten richest countries in the world. The ouside world sees this and that is why they cannot ignore the potential. If ethiopia can build a dam that would generate more than 3,000MW in 5years with 2.5 billion dollars(borrowed funds),why then have we spent over 20 billion dollars in the last 16 years and only 4,000MW to show for it? Your guess is as good as mine. |
For those of you who havent gotten over GEJ/PDP's lose, please lick your wound and move on cause nigeria is moving on. Cursing and criticizing PMB will not bring back GEJ. The former president is having his post-presidency honeymoon with his wife in otuoke. He has moved on, so we should all move on. |
IKEDC suddenly woke up from their six months slumber. For the first time in a long time, i got 5hrs power supply this morning. PMB is surely bringing a good omen in nigeria. Any arm of the electricity chain that fails in its duty to deliver should be properly sanctioned. Nigeria is too big to be held ransom by a group of opportunists who think they alone own the country. Nigeria is for all nigerians, irrespective of social status or tribe. |
The NA is quite semi-crude and fluid, unlike the US army.PMB knows that to end this war in the shortest possible time, proximity to war zones would prompt our arm-chair generals to act quickly and decisively. He has been there before, he squashed the maitatsinee group within a short period of time. Administratively, he knows where and why there are drawbacks in the military operations. They say if u try solving a problem in a particular manner and u are not getting results, try another approach. Op is just obssesed in finding faults in the presidents moves. Nigeria is not USA and USA is not Nigeria. |
Good move. End the amnesty programme, pass the PIB bill and the niger delta will have peace. How can u pay a few individuals who claim to represent the entire region for over three years, while we are yet to see meaningful development. The PIB bill will tacke the fundamental agitations of that region so that nigeria can move on. If you are a militant and you have been benefiting from the fraud called amnesty, better save all u can before december and make something meaningful out of your life. No more freebies!!! No where in the world are people paid salary for three years in the name of amnesty. If the militants truly mean well for the region, they should get their acts together, get involve in its economic revival. There are more opportunities available to them than the monthly peanuts they get. If only they can put their heads together. |
This year, me sef i go laugh like President Mohammed Buhari (PMB); AMEN!!! |
nigerians dont exactly patronize technology, except they have to either for luxury or work. Owning a latest phone or laptop is not enough. As internet penetration becomes widely available and affordable, there is bound to be improvement. |
pfsense is designed for basic number of nodes, mikrotik router os and Cisco ASA would do a perfect job. There is this Cisco asaHardware released sometime last year, its one of the next generation 5585 series appliances, does web traffic shaping/firewalling/, IPS, virus prevention, web content filtering|query and management @socket to application layer. |
okay, sir.We agree sir. Some marketers are already grinning their teeth. Finally, normalcy returns. |
Martins301:Op, abeg, remove the barrel of oil blocking your vision. There is more to life than fuel importation. The richest country in the world dont have a barrel of oil in their soil. Refining the crude oil and using byproducts will generate more revenue than u have ever imagined. You wait and see. |
I am liking my president already. Carry go, sir. Welcome development. |
Price of PMS elsewhere in the world http://www.globalpetrolprices.com/Nigeria/gasoline_prices/. Ours is pathetic because we have a moribound power sector. Nigerians can survive without subsidy pending when refineries will become fully functional. |
keep ur apology to your incompetent organization until u give us prepaid meters. These opportunists destroy businesses and investments only to tender insincere apologies. Who needs ur apology, your apology will not stop ur incompetence. You as..s...oles get paid to give us darkness. |
A nation of 180 million people without energy security. How on earth did we get to this point.
|
capital oil, lagos ibadan express way. Military men, trader, driver, teacher, mother, everyone is in it. A nation of 180 million population without energy security. How on earth did we get to this point. |
black marketers go surely invade. The incoming govt should give out fresh licenses. Let everyone go out there and bring in petroleum products, subsequently remove that scam they call subsidy. In earnest, lets have a blueprint on the number of refineries govt and corporate bodies would build, source money from wherever. We left the energy needs of a 180 million people in the hands of greedy capitalists and corrupt govt officials, now we have been brought down to our knees. Is it by sheer coincidence that power generation has fell to all time low and petroleum products that should serve as an expensive alternative has suddenly disappeared. A week in this mess and i fear there will be serious social chaos. GMB has enough headstart |
Jonathan is a mistake we should never, ever!!! allow to happen again in nigeria. This is the last time we would see his type rule nigeria. Nigeria is too great to be ruled by a LAME man like GEJ. He is as incompetent as a IMBE.....CIL#. |
one bastard at the TUC is asking for subsidy not to be removed. Make i cork my double barrel, i need to lodge "HOT SILVER" in someone's brain. |
lack of patriotism and love of money over nationhood is what is bedevilling this country. We nigerians dont deserve this beautiful bride called nigeria. Thumbs up for ifeanyi uba on this one.we hope others follow suite. Now, we know those who love nigeria and those who are just there to milk the country dry. |
As a matter of national interest, all the independent marketers{ the likes of forte oil, mrs, mobil etc} that have constituted themselves into saboteurs should not be allowed to own refineries in the nearest future. If those bastards can bring the economy down on its knees, then they dont deserve to go close to the nations wealth anymore. After years of fleecing and looting, all in the name of subsidy. Now, we know who our enemies are. Buhari, please fix our refineries and immediately unveil plans to build new ones, fix the power sector. NIGERIA is too big for this nonsense. |
This govt is full of xcuxse. Are these labor people nigerians? I doubt. Too many govt bottleneck interfering in the affairs of governance. See list; NNPC, PPRA, PENGASSUN,NLC, TUC,DPR etc All of them do nothing meaninful but to fight for their pockets. |
For all i care, that could just be alomo bitters. Beyonce bad shaaa, she don dey give some people headache and sleepless night. |
If there is anybody buhari is answerable to,its the niger delta people. Dokubo has tasted the sweet pie, now we know who he really is. Buhari should pass the PIB bill and the grieviances and injustice would be addressed. Now we who the true freedom fighters are. |
We should try and be rational with our decisions. Those children just like every one of us deserve a right to live. They didnt ask to be brought to this world in such circumstances. Three years from now, some of those babies would be so adorable we would be glad we didnt abort them. Their mothers should be convinced to give them up for abduction. They are govts responsibility now. If they had acted on time, with a human face this mess wouldnt have happened. Those children deserve to live. |
Obviously, boko haram has safe havens in the three most affected states in the NE. My question is why would a bunch of militants on the run from a major military onslaught be seeking to abduct women in a heavily militarised region? The only reason that i would think they are abducting most especially females at this time would be to drug or hypnotize them and use them for sucide attacks. I repeat there are still safe havens for militants in the NE and the military should work on their stop and search tactics. If those abducted were taken to places about a 100km from where thay have been abducted, then there are certainly no check points in those places. BH know they are losing this war so they change tactics. They are probably getting orders from across the border, if so DMI and DSS should up their game. Every means of communication should be monitored by now. So long as these abductions continue to take place, no town in the NE is safe.God bless all nigeria security agencies. |
why are so many nairalanders pleading on her behalf. This is exactly how we started out and the country is in a complete mess. To all patronizing her plead of innocense, the victim is not you today, but definitely it might be any of us tomorrow. She should get not less than six years imprisonment. It is acts like this that has brought down the image in the cyberworld to a disrepute.PLEASE...would you plead for her if she was a low life poverty ridden prostitute on the street? Nigerians should endeavour to strive and earn a honest living through hardwork. |
Chai,Asari dokubo should be the last man to spearhead this course, but he chose to join the looting clique.I have lost my respect for that guy. Under jonathan, he had the ample opportunity to change the destiny of the niger deltans, but he choe to fill his insatiable potbelly first. So much for a self-proclaimed freedom fighter. We know the enemies of the niger delta people. |
Chikebrain:I salute your entrepeneurship spirit. Piece of advice, start small. Do your research on the 2.4ghz spectrum space, its capabilities and efficiency. You could do a research and share questionnaires in areas where you are likely to get patronage to get patronage, for instance govt cafeterias, schools etc. |
Op, owning a business in nigeria is not about the paperwork you learnt in BUS 309 or whatever entrepeneurship courses you took in school. Nigeria is not the UK, US or foreign countries where there are incentives and infrastructures and facilities on ground. You need to be able to think outta the box at all times. We wey we be entrepeneurs know wetin eye dey see. The gloomy picture of businesses collapsing barely into gestation business is alarming but shouldnt be discouraging. Piece of advice, dont expect the money to roll in overnight, see it as a nurturing process to push for bigger opportunities in a large market like nigeria. In this terrrain, u are ur master so also ur own govt. Seek advices(not necessary take advice from everyone)from entrepeneurs who have swam through the murky waters of owning a business in nigeria, be creative and see your customers as an asset u dont toy with. No complacensy towards customers as some would want to take undue advantage. Financial prudency especially at growing stage is critical. |
Beautiful. Sorry, a hotspot covering hundred of square mile and controlled from one central location.Very possible, but Would like to see how that would pan out. |
@all(especially edo indigenes). This phenomenom is not something to be proud of. It limits productivity, hardwork, the end results are tales of woes and bloodshed (a fact every cultists knows but wont admit publicly). From my brief ten years stay in benin and the entire stay, i would deduce that a major contributing factor is the poor state of its economy.Aside from income repatriated from its citizens working and living abroad major income contributor)there are very little opportunities for its teeming and idle, harworking youths to earn a living. Despite its fertile land, abundant oil and mineral resources, its appauling that these societal menace cannot be curtailed by providing jobs for these idle minds. Please lets not glorify cultism as its a dent in the image of the black race and not something to be proud of. The young ones are coming, humanity will judge our books if we dont teach and guide them in the right path to go. |
