Cultism has swallowed the entire edo state. As it is now, it has gotten out of control. The fire has been spreading unhindered for a very long time. They are in every household, workplace and all. A major factor responsible for its deep rooted is the lack of unemployment for its teeming multitude of youths, little assistant or motivation by the state govt. Offcourse, this challenge is not just limited to edo state, but the entire niger delta. God bless and heal my edo state. |
Wishing them the best of marriage. I wonder why nigerians take panadol over other peoples affairs when their own headache is killing them. |
Epaul:Warri to ekpan then onward to effurun is not upto 10km. For all we care and to outsiders both are in the same cosmopolitan area. Why emphasie the disparity. |

PDP will be dead and buried before the year ends.A viable opposition will definitely emerged. Never again shall we as a nation allow a party like PDP rule this country again. |
what goes around comes around. Whatever spell holding the North Korean people in bondage will soon wear off. Hmm...north korea and nigeria have something in common.. |
At the moment, there is so much crude oil in the international market with lesser buyers, yet in nigeria fuel is becoming a luxury good. What is wrong with us nigerians? Why do we prefer to go the other way when the whole world goes in the opposite direction? How on earth did we become inhuman to ourself? The whole world must be making a huge joke out of us.In the commite of nations, we are a laughing stock. |
since the country is broke, GMB should award the contract to local firms. If anything goes wrong or we run into delays the company can be probed, aside that its time we keep these monies in the local economy, awarding it to foreign Cos will amount to capital flight.Thats the last thing we need rigth now. The local firms must be competent hands.Lets look inwards. |
AbuuUsaamah:Education is of the mind. It has nothing to do with the four walls. A lot of cultists have passed through the four walls and they have become plagues to the society. Conventional university or Open university, the student reserves the right to make the best of what either of the two has to offer. Nigeria and undue, un-necessary discrimination. SMH.... |
Apple products are overrated, the world can do without it. A lot of tech companies dont put the apple system into consideration when writing a software for their products especially if its proprietary. Four years ago, a sales rep on phone from malta asked us why we were using Apple laptop as its company never gets requests for its software to run on Mac OS. Yet, they say its apple and i cant eat it after i found it to be useless. |

Tucked in the corner of room to the left is my classic HP pavillion running windows xp 80GB (good for my browsing as it saves me a lot of bandwidth), right under it is my UK link 500 GB DVR hooked to my outdoor surveillance system, to the right is my SONY VAIO 400GB dual core 2.12 ghz laptop running win 7, under it is my HP pentium 4 120 GB dual partitioned to run ubuntu server 12.04 and win server 2008 (offcourse pirated), the wide screen 19 inches monitor is a display for my servers and surveillance system. Attached to the wall(white device) is my linux based ubiquiti picostation access point connected to my Mikrotik RB 450g router (not in picture)for hotspot and all that. This is where all the tweaking and twerking is done b4 moving to site. I'm more comfortable @ home than @ work. I hope all my equipments go into a rack someday.

Mrs Oby should please give the outgoing president breathing space. There are other actors involved in the kidnap of the girls, she should equally vent her anger on these people too. Why unleashing your venom on the president alone.Accepted, the president didnt react on time, thereby causing him to incur public condemnation and humilation. On manyother occasions, he had made excellent decisions too e.g his insistence that the state of emergency continue despite calls by northern elders and politicians to remove it. I cant imagine what the entire north east would have been by now if he had yielded. Mrs Oby should please give the president some breathing space, ABEG!!! |
Nigerians are poor because nigerians love themselves than they actually love nigeria. So long as an average nigerian thinks of himself first b4 considering the nigerian nationhood, nigeria can never yield the best for the ordinary nigerian. Until nigerians put nigeria first, nigerians will remain poor, mismanaged and impoverished. |
I was at wempco road, ogba industrial estate during the week. I was amazed as i was told that a chinese company manufacturing tiles has never had power interruption for two years running. They actually have a hybrid generator that supplies power to the complex. This generator is powered solely by gas. How on earth does this companies get gas supply without the usual hue and cry of gas pipeline vandals that the transmission companies are known for. There is more to this than the eye can explain. There discos should be encouraged to source their gas from wherever they can instead of waiting for the ever failing supply from national grid. |
There are lots of west african countries citizens involved in this business. They are mostly senegalese, guineans, beneniose, malians, lebanese etcThey are in the business as third party middlemen dealers.OBJ had all the framework in place to have a vibrant mining sector in place, but for whatevr reason he lost focus afte oby ezekwesili was removed. I cry for this darling country, our leaders are the ones killing us. The rot in this mining sector has been there since colonial days. Maybe buhari should consider bringing mrs oby ezekwesili back to that sector, she did an excellent job in the few years she served as minister of solid minerals. |
About seven years ago, i did my Industrial Attachment in a mining company that specialised in precious stones like beryl, toumaline, sapphire etc. This sector is the most corrupt and criminal infected sector. Every stakeholder with or without a license shortchanges the govt in billions of dollars. The traditional rulers, mining cos, security officals, officials of both state and federal ministries of solid minerals down to the artisans are all involved.A lot of assasinations too are involved. Every one in this sector has a criminal mindset. Oby ezekwesili brought some level of insanity into it, but alas few years after some cabals influenced her removal by OBJ. Today, the looting and stealing continues in that sector. |
Buhari should open the refining sector by allowing companies and individuals to build modular refineries. These cant be built or moved into the country and assembled in a matter of months. By so doing, confidence will be built and the general citizens will know that the president_elect means business. One @ a time, we will surely get there. |
Jagaban should be careful. BRF is of the anointed specie. He should steer clear or else he would be shooting himself in the foot. Before you, there were king makers and after u there would still be king makers. BRF is the peoples/gods anointed. |
babasanti:Here are the fools that cant get over the fact that their dear nicompoo of a president just lost an election and will be leaving theseat of power. 16 years of energy crisis. No light, no fuel. How much more disastrous can the energy sector be. Enemy Of Progress full this country. |
Offcourse, they forgot that humans are becoming more insatiable. Funny, i realised have been using a nokia for almost a year.Microsoft killed nokia, simple. |
I have this view about men who quarrel over a lady. Some men are a disgrace, seriously. |

PDP is a curse and i pray it dies a natural death once the president hands over. GEJ and his PDP never had a fore plan to build refineries with the monies he would have saved aftersubsidy removal. The same govt for the past 16 years has been awarding TAM contracts to its cronies for years without anything to show for it. A govt that cant revive its refineries in years, how then would it have been able to build refineries in little time it had. If the govt was sincere about building refineries, passage of the PIB bill would have been its priority. Till date, the bill has not been passed. How do u encourage investors to put their money in refining when the bill still remains contentious.Subsidy removal would have created a channel for the party to embezzle the countrys scarce resources . As for the die hard TANOIDS, get over GEJ loss.Come may 29th, a new sheriff would be in town. |
So long as we refuse to invest in new refineries, fix the existing ones to refine at full capacity, generate and distribute enough electricity that would serve the citizeneries of this country, we can curse to the end of the earth. We will forever be at the mercy of these fuel marketers. PDP as a party for the past 16 yrs has refused to come up with a plan to put an end to fuel importation becos its cronies breath and live on the fraud called subsidy. Come may 29th 2015, GMB has a mandate to liberalise this sector, pass the PIB bill so that investors can build new refineries, audit the TAM contract of the existing refineries and privatise them. The same cabals running the fuel importation business are the same people running the power sector. GMB has his hands full, but we know he can deliver in four years. |
Learned is the word, not educated.By numbers, i wouldnt say no, but by number of post graduate degrees, i would say yes. |
Life afte retirement syndrome is catching up with our outgoing presido. Word of advice; buhari will not be there forever. The earlier GEJ and his PDP party of rogues realise this the better. Nigerians asked for change and they got it. Please live with it. |
Lasgos state police commisioner better act now, or are they waiting for an important personnel to get killed first b4 they act. |
breadandbutter:GOD is not responsible for all of mans problem.Take out your anger on someone else not GOD |
One sector of the nigerian economy that defies economic priciples and annoys me is the real estate sector.Globally, its values are falling and leaving massive glut. But, here in nigeria, this sector defies economic laws.People build houses for higher rent but dont get value for money but still go ahead to increase rent even with low demand. As for the banks, they should get involved in the real and manufacturing sectors. Most of the banks invest heavily in ventures that are only profitable on a short span. The economy would continue to suffer if they dont change their investment attitude. |
God will punish anyone whos would suggest that buhari shouldnt probe sfter the swear-in. Enemies of this countries are patrons in churches and mosque.God deliver us from chronic corruption. |
Africans and greed for power. Nigerian politics is for the jobless. They simply cant do without the charade, countless number of entourage, scary looking mopol wielding whips. They cant do without the filth and opulence that comes with public office in nigeria. |
I feel he is the type who is relaxed about issues of life and politics. His actions however betrays his simplicity. |

Many Nigerians are deep into the belief of this dead God that they no longer use their brains when commenting on tragedies because they have all been brainwashed into believing their existence is owed to a fable God sold to them by Isrealites who are far worse in commiting crimes against humanity in terms of war and killing innocent people. A four month old baby survived the earth quake and i was surprised to see some people thanking God for her survival
