A 50 man commitee will immediately be set up to investigate the matter. As soon as a conclusion is reached in the investigation, a 20 man commitee will be saddled with the responsibility to study and send a final report to the presidency. And let''s pray that the presidency does not set up its own in house commitee to further look into the matter. I just hope the US govt is patient enough to recieve a 100 page inconclusive report detailingwhat exactly happened or did not happen to its citizen on our soil. Obama sef go tire.

The NA should come out with a plan to deploy 20,000 personnel in the three most affected states and be on the offensive rather than defensive. If civillians can muster the courage to confront BH, why shouldnt the NA. Anythong other than full scale war is an attempt to manage it for unknown selfish reasons.

Most ladies do this, what is so new. I blame the guy for holding on to you even after you were truthful to him(at least u were sincere to him). I dumped my ex on midnight of a new year, i didnt have to see the guy he was dating by the sideline. She weeped and begged, but i stuck to my decision. I just hope you wont hurt if something goes wrong btw u and ur official boyfriend. Op, let him be.
Politics › Re: After Intensive Aerial Bombardment, Boko Haram Retreats From Bama by persius555(m): 7:55am On Sep 07, 2014
NA should not relent. This is the best time to declare full scale war, when those boneheads are losing at the war front and their morales are down and weak. 20,000 soldiers should be brought in from all over the country's barracks. We should learn from past mistakes. Insurgents are weakest when their morales are low.Just as US-Iraq govt have declared full scale war against ISIS, the NA should also be intensifying their attacks on boko haram. They would keep retreating until they run out of retreating space.

I guess its time to show the world that we might be corrupt, stubborn, reckless but we will always be africa's ray of hope, not only in times of war but also in times of outbreak like this.If nigeria can do it, then africa can do it.
Politics › Re: If Bama Falls, We Are Doomed!!! by persius555(m): 8:22pm On Sep 04, 2014
My thought on this war:some people in the military and government have all along been trying to manage this war and make as much money from it. How come the bombing subsised for a while and all of a sudden BH declares full scale war. The military should have embarked on full scale invasion of every nook and cranny of borno state. They all these ammmunitions all the while, but wouldnt put it to use. I can say boldly that if the military had gone full scale after bombings subsided, BH wold have been left with no choice but to run into cameroon ((wish they tried to do but were quickly rebuffed by gendarmes in cameroon) or go all out in the direction of the NA. All along, there was complicity. This war against boko haram especially in bornu would have been won by 5,000 lightly armed civillian JTF volunteers. Somebody somewhere is selfishly hellbent on making a fortune from this war at the expense of thousands of innocent nigerian lives. Is it not funny how an enemy armed with basic military skills can easily overrun a supposed NA with far more advanced military tactics.

Demdem:
Oponu, there is a difference between misleading the public and calling Jonathan which u goons regards insulting. How many have been arrested for calling Buhari bokohaari? What about aregberascal?
If none then why should those that call Retardeeen Egbere Jonathan be arrested? U don't sound smart at all.
Again, with just one post from demdem, kindly refer to where he mislead the public.
Oponu, Jonathan till ur early grave.
If you are trying to justify the guy's arrest on the ground of misleading and name calling, then the media houses should also be arrested for publishing misleading stories. Please, amosun should interfere and get this guy released so as not to soil his good name.

I am not afraid of what corruption has done to this country, but i am afraid that the president has done nothing to curb this menace that threatens the unity and progress of this country. It is so sad how we have let this cancer alter our sense of nationhood. "Mr president, this times are critical, we definitely cannot continue like this!!!!!!

This act of not taking concrete and definite stand is my fear for this GEJ government.Just too many mistake at every turn.Ebola is not slowing down in most affected countries. What a serious government should be doing is to inform us of necessary actions and precautions being put in place, like getting thos electronic thermometers, holding regular PTA meetings in order to fully create awareness. If this issue gets out of hand, i recommend that all ministers and government officials that are responsible for any slip up should be shown the way out on the ground of incompetence.

Pls, if anyone has links with top army officers, can someone please refer them to Isis syria tactics that helped them overrun a syrian army held airbase. They used civillian unmanned aerial vehicles to map out high priority army machineries. It worked wonders even to the amazement of US security recently. One our eastern governors brought some into the country for ecological disaster recovery. Our special forces could use this to spy on insurgency held towns and villages in the night and aid the nigerian airforce achieve precise surgical attack especially in the night. I guess we just need to be creative in our own little way. Nigeria can win this war.

Politics › Re: The Boko Haram Threat. by persius555(m): 6:11pm On Aug 31, 2014
I have seen many videos posted online of boko haram onslaughts, all i see is frail looking young rag tag boys as young as thirteen carrying about AK47 rifles, others running around and shooting aimlessly from a high calibre machine gun mounted on toyota hilux vans. They cut a picture of soldiers who have all to lose if they refuse to fight with their last pint of blood (probably exhausted by constant bombardment by the cameroonian military). On the other hand, i refuse to believe the nigerian army are lesser armed, i just think their operations are poorly coordinated. The nigerian army has the luxury of human resourcse and heavy artillery.I say once more, the key to winning this war lies in the hands of a well equipped nigerian special force and well funded airforce. This is working in iraq, libya even next door cameroon.

To think he came back to lagos, presented himself, tested negative of the virus and he ran abroad, knowing fully well he had aided the spread of the deadly virus. To justify his devillish nature, he has gone ahead to delete his online account. He can run but nemesis will definitely catch up with him.

For one the populace should put public safety first before economic gains. THe situation in liberia is grave and all schools are shut, are the proprietors waiting to see this fatal scourge go out of hand before they regain their sense of hiumanity. Adults can handle their hygiene pretty well, but children just cant. Markets and churches are places we visit and leave once or twice in a week within short periods of 1to 2 hours, but schools open from 8 to 4 pm in five days of the week. An infected child in a public school could infect as much as 20 children in a day.
Politics › Re: FG Should Disarm The 7th Army Division In Borno And Form New Elite Force by persius555(m): 5:48am On Aug 29, 2014
Modern day warfare are not won with boots on the ground, the nigerian armed force has the nigerian airforce, the key to winning this war long relies on our ability to deploy fighter jets and UAVs to the combat zones in the north. The US and its allies are helping the ragtag iraqi army and numerous militias win the war against ISIS in iraq.Aint our army generals seeing thishuh?!!!!!!.FG and the nigerian armed force should immediately look into this. From videos posted online recently, boko haram has in its possesion enough arsenal to withstand the any nigerian batallion. With well funded and coordinated air raid campaigns, boko haram''s fold will be significantly decimated. FG SHOULD STOP IMPORTING GUNS AND BOOTS BUT START IMPORTING STATE OF THE ART DRONES AND FIGHTER JETS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Health › Re: Ebola Scare In Anambra After A Corpse Was Brought From Liberia To The State by persius555(m): 9:49pm On Jul 31, 2014
Seriously, this outbreak is scary. First, i would blame the nigerian government for in their usual habit of ignoring expert warnings and advice. The disease surfaced in feburary, the spread of virus got to an alarming rate as at may. All the while, the nigerian government and its health agencies should have set up health facilities at the airports to test individuals travelling from as close as lome, cotonou, ghana. It is so funny that between nigeria and liberia (closest ebola infected country) lies four other west african countries. Maybe, we were waiting for cote de iviore, ghana, togo and other west african countries to record their first case before taking urgent steps. Being, a country of travelling people, the government should have envisioned this ( i guess we are a country led by leaders without forsight).
Some countries as far as asia are already taking precautions, a woman from kenya travelling to hong kong was quickly quarantined for showing ebola-like symptoms, only to test negative. That is how effective the system should work. Patrick sawyer vomited twice on board the airplane and nobody bothered to inquire not until a week after,JESUS, SAVE THIS COUNTRY!!!. We have already been listed on the internet as ebola infected, i guess it is only a matter of days for countries globally to issue travel ban on us. To add insult to injury, someone brought the corpse of their loved ones from THE SAME LIBERIA!!!!!! and nobody at the airport deemed it fit to inquire about the cause of his death. Is there no health agency at the airport? Obviously, we were stupidly waiting for ghana and togo to record their first case before we act. I wont be surprised if over a thousand liberians had crossed into nigeria between may and july. I believe god has done more than enough for us as a people but we as a people and as a country have failed humanity. So much for our in-eptitude.
Family › Re: My Brother Or My Wife, Who Should I Pick? by persius555(m): 11:18am On Jul 20, 2014
Op, take the brother. The is brother is his blood and would eternally be grateful to him. Secondly, he is male his chances of climbing the ladder in the organisation in little time is higher than the wife's. Your brother could in the nearest future help her get a job within the organisation or elsewhere, just like you a male has been able to help out.
