There is UI practice questiona, which has over 80% of questions between 2011 -2014.

There was no putme in 2016

And I can help compile 2017 questions if you want.

I can still get up to 75 questions from 2017 putme

Not everyone will be great,

Not everyone that got admission will graduate

Not all that were admitted to MBBS will be inducted into the noble profession.

Not everyone that try to be a doctor again and again will eventually get it

Not all patient will be healed. Some will even die.

Bitter, but true.

Als o compared to other schools like UNIBEN, UNIZIK, etc how'd u compare UI in terms of the quality of their MLS dept alone?

If you want MBBS, pls go for it.

Don't give yourself unnecessary solace by comparing MBBS to MLS. Its like comparing death to slumber.

MLS is a very good course, go for it if you love it

someone who aspire for Yoruba education and was admitted to Yoruba education is by far better than someone who aspire for medicine and surgery and was given dentistry and dental surgery

About the cut off marks, I should ave searched on Google. But UI post utme past questions are hard to come by. If ave done anything wrong m sorry.

English - Invisible teacher by dele ashade and past questions. Pls make sure you get it, very helpful.

Physics - Okeke, new school, lamlad and past questions

Chemistry - Ababio, lamlad and past questions

Biology - Modern , essential biology, lamlad, past questions.


I noticed more than 65% of the questions UI asked are what I have seen and solved. I concluded that the above materials are part of what they used.

If you can get college physics and chemistry also , it all good because UI lifted a calculation question from college physics word for word this year.

Finally, if u will be picking UI again, take the pain to read through thread between 2012 - 2016. I can tell you UI repeated 5-6 questions from chemistry 2015.

I once scored 188 in jamb

4 marks have denied me admission into Mbbs on two different occasions.

Folks start telling me its the will of God or my destiny is not attached to being a doctor.

Its the will of God for me to fail? Impossible people.

Thank God I ignored them.

From 188 jamb score to 322 jamb score.

From scoring 29 in jamb physics to scoring 93 in the same jamb physics

From 4 marks on 2 occasion below cutoff for Mbbs to almost 8.5 marks above Mbbs cutoff.

People who saw my aggregate of 80.25 never knew it came from pain, anger, tears, desperation, perseverance, determination.

Not everyone will get things on a platter of Gold.

It happens I am part of those who didn't get it on a platter of gold.

People like me changed the world. People who don't accept defeat but stand up to it.


I can't even share all my defeats, and serial back to back disappointments here.

But I hope at least one person can be encouraged and take up the baton again and run that race.

Elrapido , I hope you see this. You aren't alone. There are people who have walked that path and succeeded.

It seems the cutoff for various department that was determined today did not leak.

I believe latest Friday, the cutoff should be out officially, so let us keep the heated tension cool till Friday. It seems people are really on hot seat.

I thought all hope was lost gaining admission into MBBS when I scored 262 and couple with the fact that I had two of my school cert result not released by waec. In fact I registered and sat for the last GCE. Hmmmm. Intact the story of my life is miraculous and I can not but give all the glory to God. My ssce was later released of which I had two As. When ui release the post utme result I was just too scared to check with all the results I saw on this thread. Well I summoned courage to check today when I came back from church and behold I SCORED 86. In fact all I have yo say is thank you Lord. I am from one of the ELDS state Benue to be specific andi know that God that brought me this far will favour all of you. Just have faith

What a brilliant result.

But this aggregate of a thing will not favor everyone. With this brilliant 86%, imagine it will drop down to 75%.

There are still aspirants going for MBBS with aggregate far higher than mine. They are silent people sef.

Only that those that score more than me should be less Than 70.

I av followed through 2012 - 2016 UI admission thread. I took time to study cutoff In relationship to Nairalanders performance.

To avoid fallacy of hasty conclusion, and prevent false hope, d cutoff for Mbbs will definitely be above 69.

However, logically, 75% is very good to go for Mbbs. My conclusion.

This is one of the simple part of biology I missed. I almost go haywire when I remembered I choose turtles because I wasn't patient instead of shark.

The answer is definitely David , the question is who not what.

I wasn't even conscious of who and what . That is how UI set questions. Imagine I would av missed it if it was WHO and someone else would av missed it if it was WHAT.

if you've seen oau pre degree questions(also used to set thier post utme) then you'll know that u. I post ume questions are not even that technical for them to now be giving somebody 60something percent... I literally solved all the eng phy Chem bio within an hour still rechecked with my remaining 30/20 minutes left... but it's alright God knows best.. shout out to all the bosses wey knack 70+

I remembered that I said most people will score 15/25 in biology thinking they will score 24/25. UI questions are very simple and very technical I know what I am saying.

E.g who killed Goliath
A. David
B. God
C. Stone
D. Catapult

Most students will happily choose David, where as the stone killed Goliath.

UI said I missed 20 questions, and I already see for myself 14 mistake I did after the exam xo UI is just.

OK. After the news was out yesterday that the results have been uploaded, I also tried checking with my phone last night.

Using Firefox browser, my portal opened quite all right, but my score wasn't showing!

So, I tried my phone's own ('follow come') browser. And after some serious battle (as it appears many people were also trying to access the site), it came up, and I saw 53.6666!

I was surprised. For one, I've been seeing other people's results, and none was with .something-something.

Number two, the questions were quite simple that I wasn't expecting anything less than 60.

But as a child of God, I prayed to God and thanked Him for the result (because some people didn't even meet the average mark which is 50)

Fast forward to this evening, I was coming back from my sister's place, and decided going to a cafe to check again.

Upon opening, I saw 77 right there on my portal

I was happy and I thanked God and sing praises to Him.

Then I told myself 'Go and start preparing to pay your acceptance fee'

I just keep thanking God and giving Glory to His Most Holy Name.

My advice to those who checked with their phones and are seeing funny scores. Try checking with a PC.

If u ain't an Mbbs or law aspirants , logically , you have no cause for alarm. D score are not encouraging. Only law and Mbbs aspirants should be on lookout even with 75+.

I guess engineering cutoff will go back to the days of 55-61%

I only see law and medicine maintaining 70somtim. and hoping it doesn't pass 80.
