As we proceed, I will be unravelling the tricks I learnt myself in calc in PH, sine of any angle, dividing standard form without the use of calculator, picking correct option when you do not really know the answer and lot more. No matter how you study, you cannot know all Questions , but if you know your way , you can get all questions Everyone has a trick that they discover, by the time our bosses start dropping their tricks in various sunject, I am sure, it will really add to our stature. Now that our bosses are all here, am telling u , the target of 300+ is within reach. Personally, online tutorials helped me a lot. The next thing for us(2018 aspirants) is to construct a realistic time table. What I mean by realistic is that we should not construct a time table with 20 hours of reading per day Starting from tomorrow, let start bringing questions we know that are hard rock only . We are not only going to get solutions to them, but these bosses will be giving us their methods of study.(They are all hot brains , you can trust their judgment). I av posted some reasons why aspirants score low. By now we should know the category we fall into. |

In 2017 utme, we might have targeted 300+ and ended up scoring 200+. The next preparation strategy for 2018 utme is not just angrily reading but to return to the drawing table. For instance, in 2017 utme, what stop you from scoring 300+ Was the exam time enough? Did you made costly mistakes in picking answer? Is it that the questions were hard? Did you do well but jamb scored you wrongly? Were you too slow in answering questions? Is it that you didn't cover the syllabus? Is it that you cover the Syllabus but you didn't read indept? Is your reading time enough? Do you understand with ease? These are the first step in aspiring for an excellent score. What subject is your backbone? what subject is your weak point ? When the 2018/2019 UI thread is created, I will share things I will do on my part to get 95%. a lot of things will be discussed. I will be sharing my tricks, methods , how to study efficiently. I will be sharing different between studying hard and studying efficiently.( How u can study for just 6 hrs a day and perform better than all day bookworm) I will be sharing how to tackle chemistry calc; how to solve PH in mol/dm3 and divide complicated standard form without calculator. I will also be sharing the effective textbooks and how to read wisely that will make anyone score 70% at the worst. Hardebaryor:A very costly mistake is to use lamlad alone. Lamlad is textbook B, ababio is textbook A. At the same time , don't ignore any. Last jamb , I answered questions I would av gotten wrong if I use ababio alone. I didn't find them in ababio. Also, pls go and learn how to find PH without calculator. dannyboii1:i prepared oo. Ahaaaaa, I prepared, Satan can testify I deserve to pass with respect to preparation alone. You know what it takes for your heart to be crying every year. i stand b4 God, I lie not, when I saw 80% I was not too happy at all because it didn't reflect my sacrifice. I was expecting 90+. Though human errors limited me. In biology for example, I mistakenly choose turtles instead of shark, and a lot of mistakes like that in chemistry. Physics was to simple to miss 2 questions. Those questions were like past questions to me that day because I have nonsense lamlad and past questions from front to back too many times. What I am saying in effect is you can score very high only if your desire can grant you. Study lamlad till there is no question you can't answer. Study ababio to the extent you can literally complete a sentence while reading without looking at the textbook. Study physics till you can't find where to Study again. Finally, don't be satisfy with getting 40/50 in past questions, go for 49/50 ,50/50. Also , don't use past questions with track record of wrong answers. These are what I did. Papi112:When I saw Saturday questions, I laughed. UI made a costly mistake, they gave those poor botany and zoology aspirants chemistry and physics questions they supposed to have given Mbbs and engineering aspirants. I was sure, it was a mix up. If not, I am sure the cutoff will be lower than 71% In 2015 UI asked us a question that require Sin27 without calculator. Several crazy physics questions that year. |

ISISs:when I scored 188, I was among those who were unfortunate that year. jamb marked nonsense. I was expecting 288, I got 188. Imagine, I scored 82% in 100L PHS105 only to score 29% in jamb that same week my result was released. I sat for UI putme 3 times, but I tell, it is as simple as jamb. in fact more simple. I scored 76% in 2014, 70% in 2015 and 80% in 2017. Simple English Concord stopped me in 2014. Numerous physics Calculations stopped me in 2015(the time was racing too fast and I was working too slow). Jamb score stopped me in 2016 despite A and B in Wassce I sum up everything this year and worked on my weakness in 2017. I TOO KNOW stopped me from getting 90% in 2017. Believe I me, the question were just too simple for a putme. If I didn't make this year, only God will stop me from getting 95% in UI putme next year . Just like bobola, I will be a graduate in less than 3 months. For u to score 307 in jamb, scoring 90% in UI putme will be a walk in the park provided u prepared well. 8 Likes 1 Share |

My candid advice on " I WILL CROSS TO MBBS IN 200L" It better to fall in love with the course you are offered or better still, accept that course, and sit for another jamb to another University. Change of course is not as easy as you think, not fewer than 200 students across college of Medicine and faculty of science are also thinking like that, and Mbbs can only take so much (5 maximum). The funniest thing is that if you strive to be the best among those who wish to cross, your HOD might not release you. Something like that happen to me, but not in UI. You will be disappointed the second time. Please, I implore Mbbs-or-nothing aspirants who didn't meet the cutoff to have plan B, C even up to plan Z. 3 Likes |
