Family / Re: My Husband Doesn’t Want My Son To Come And Stay With Us by Petbuk122(m): 10:33am On Mar 13, 2020
Vyvyanvyvy:
I had 2 children. When I got married, my husband had none and accepted them like his own children.

Before marriage, we had discussed about the children living with us after marriage but that couldn’t be possible anymore because we were having financial problem so we couldn’t afford to move to a bigger apartment. We were staying in a room self contain with my daughter while my son was staying with my elder brother and his wife.

Now three years after we had moved to a bigger house still my husband doesn’t want my son to come and live with us. At the moment my son is going through hard times. My sister in law has been maltreating him to an extent that he has been stealing, he was caught and beaten like an animal. My brother said he doesn’t want him in his house again. He wants me to come and collect him.

I pleaded with my husband for me to bring him with us but he said no, he should stay there because he doesn't want him to damage our children. I’m angry at him I stopped talking to him and I don’t know where my son will go because I have no mother no father it’s only my elder brother and kid sister even my sister who is married doesn’t want him. I’m pained and in tears seeing my only son suffering while I’m still alive and I’m helpless to protect him.

If you pay the school fees, change him to a boarding school. During visiting days, beg your husband to follow you so that you two can visit him together. He would have to go back to your brother during holidays unless you are able to convince your husband to see the child's good side during the visiting days. You can also make an arrangement for him to learn skills or trade during holidays. the point is to keep him busy and minimize the time he spends in the house with your brother's family.

nothing much but I mixed with those mirror guys (if you know, you know) not because of anything but because girls can abuse you and in that school if a boy should fight a girl, no matter who is at fault the boy is done. we keep records of pants Eeen. if a girl should do anyhow You would here something like "shio, smelly thing, putting on the same pant for four days, abi what did you wear throughout last week? was it not blue?"

One early morning like that after assembly, I ran into the principal and the man staggered. o boy blala was giving sounds on my head from the corridor to class. Funniest thing you can't report your teachers to my parent, because no matter what, teachers are always right.

None of them belong to you. Your wife is still unknown.

Your 20 years old will bounce off you and your 28 year old will never be patient with you.

Take care!

Gbam. what is happening to him now would most likely happen to the 20years old girl. you see the 28 year old often, check her out often, feel her lips often my Brother there is no way you will not develop affections for her. cool down abit. tease the 28 years old that you aren't ready to settle down In fact you cant even say specifically. may be 5,6 or 7years to come. she would take it from there. she wants to settle so, even if God isn't saying anything, she would hear her own thought.

Such a weakling of a man .

Oga controller , is she suppose to be making a daily list of places she wants to go ? . Does she need your permission ?

He's a cheat , so says the wife and he should be treated as one .

if anything should happen on her way to wherever, who do you think her family would hold responsible. I have seen a case where the husband couldn't sleep because the wife didn't tell him where she was going and it was getting really late, the husband had to inform the police of a missing person as she wasn't reachable on phone. The said woman came home around 2am saying she went to church. Boom van ordered by the man entered the compound early in the morning. Guess you know the end.

Politics / Re: Amotekun: Juniad Mohammed Warns Of Imminent Civil War by Petbuk122(m): 4:04pm On Jan 23, 2020
Arrewa:
As a born again Christian who is meant to speak the truth at all times, i think this amoketun issue is being hypocritically blown out of proportion to expand hatred for other tribes especially the Fulanis. Why must we Christians be the brain behind the vast support for Amotekun when the Nigerian constitution is clear about the roles of the armed forces and police in the security of the country? Why must we form an ethnic militia to target fellow Nigerians when the constitution guarantees freedom of movement and doing business nationwide as long as we are Nigerians? What we fail to realize is that the south east cheering on Amotekun sees its as a synonym for their biafra agitations and they will rather support anything that will disband the relative peace and unity of Nigeria. The IPOB sympathizers will be the one to cry wolf when Amotekun starts targeting their tribesmen who commits various crimes in the south west. MURIC recently condemned the killing of a CAN pastor and sympathized with we Christians, how many Christians will condemn the killing of an imam or Muslims? Instead we rejoice when tragedy strikes them forgetting we are all humans before religion. Instead of emulating our Muslim brothers who have remained silent on this issue of Amotekun, we Christians are disturbing the cyberspace with hypocritical comments. Amotekun will never see the light of the day as long as we remain one Nigeria. It's a bad policy and a tribalistic security outfit aimed at persecuting other Nigerians. On behalf of we Christians, i condemn Amotekun. Let's learn to live in peace and harmony

are you for real? is amotekun taking away the peace? are the herdsmen giving you chance to live in peace? were the victims of terrorist wishing for death. bro, please let's do whats needed even Jesus Christ was not idle when his father's house was used for what is not. And as a matter of fact this is not a Christian mission, humanity before religion.

Actually he is very against it but he is using big words to mask his shame.

he is likely to lose in both end, the north will deny him if he can't get the backing of Yorubas. the Yorubas are likely to abandon him if he refused to support amotekun. Igbos are likely to go with whoever supports regional security.

Yes of course, you know it was Muslim nations who started and fought in the WORLD WARS that claimed millions of lives. Bloody deluded hypocrite

I have lots of Muslims around me, I have them as friends(good ones) but sentiments apart what do you expect people to say when several of the terrorist groups are hiding under a religion umbrella. We have all forgotten that a believe that put humanity last would do no good to the world. Let's face it a million thing is going wrong in Nigeria but religion wahala is their father. if you talk of breaking up the powerful people will not allow it but only that can help at this time. I have nothing against Islam.

Angelfrost:

That would be too harsh... The most important thing is that proper use of extinguisher was taught. Most people would have used a dummy, or shown a video as demonstration.

The fire refusing to go out could have been down to expiration of the extinguisher contents brought for the demonstration. Such mistakes or goofs happen everywhere, even in international communities.

Come to think of it, How many schools teach such to begin with??!... Laud the initiative, and don't be too quick to flay their efforts.

so true but In this our country, that fire extinguisher might be carrying 2022 as the expiry date due to the work of retailers. more so there are different extinguishers for different fire depending on the cause of fire. such thing will not happen next time, Kudos to the school

May be with this, the youths in this country can change the doom, let each school's student union do something like this, post it every where not just on nairaland but even on daily papers. Lets see how far it will go but i remember some schools have no student government body but just Union. If youths can team together and channel their strength in the right direction the country could be a honey dam for all to lick.

its obvious that nlders who post things as if all is well with the country are either kids who are still collecting money from their parents or pple who move from their high brow offices to their homes..those of us who go to the market regularly can see the hunger and pain in the eyes of the ordinary Nigerian..this country is a ticking time bomb waiting to explode, you do not need prophet Joshua to tell u that an uprising is eminent,I pray we can hold up till 2019,let all who mean well for this country pray for our leaders because at the end of the day,the uprising will only affect the poor and the middle-class
May God increase you ma, a lot of people are suffering, even the so call street rich men are becoming more strict in there spendings, sales have reduced drastically, only if the leaders can see how deep normal Nigerian lives to survive.more reason why we should do away with the recycled leaders and go for those from the mix up.
