Thanks. How did you pay and print the admin fee receipt pl?
on the core portal check, generic payment and fill your details. On purpose of payment choose others and on description write admin fee and continue. It should be straight forward

Hello Pete26,

Sorry to hear about the decision meted on your application, i do hope you get it this time. There are certain things to be considered before being a self-sponsored applicant but not limited to finance. See below:

1. Level of establishment - economically and socially
2. Marital status and family composition
3. Reliable source of income - (other investments)
4. Available funds
5. Age (not necessarily/always applicable)

..from an analytical perspective of your available funds (whether or not you will require to include a co-sponsor in your realization):

6. The duration of your program
7. The cost of the program
8. Demonstration of how to meet the tuition fees & LE for the subsequent year

Thus, I will try to provide certain hints on assumption base, in absence of the/your notes. My first area of observation was your home ties and how you demonstrated the said property to the VO. The second area of employment situation is the aforementioned in numerical order. After you've re-assessed your previous submitted application, use the derived observations to connect what's amiss in your study plan.

BTW as for the gcms notes, third party sites are prohibited here.

Good luck!

Thanks for your input, I just sent you an email also regarding ordering of gcms note. Can you please respond. Thanks

Not necessary. If possible, key in the details of your siblings with good financial status and economic standing. There is no worries. In your SOP, you should state the number of your siblings like this: My siblings are all married and gainfully employed as a Doctor, Lawyer, Banker, Business Executive.

All the best!
I sent you a PM boss

Hello Jeanjohnny,

As far as I can tell, your aoolication is good, and there will be no need for a co-sponsor. Irrespective of your dad being your sponsor, if I were you, i would convince him to at least transfer 3m into your SOA to boost it showing your LE. It will make more sense that way, as the balance of tour dad's account will still be sufficient.

You quoted my response to a moniker in respect of the including all siblings. You should know that I only answer questions based on the presented information to it.

However, its not compulsory including all your siblings. If your father wants to state the number of children he has, which the VO might scrutinize in terms of the available funds, he could put it in this way in his LOS that he has "7 children but 4 are dependents and gainfully employed," depending on the number of siblings you intend to state (do well to provide their birthday certificate or any proof) and same should be all stated in your SOP.

Also, endeavour to show proper home ties to convincingly show your level of establishment. Then lastly, connect the relevant documents that builds your application thoroughly in your SOP.

All the best!
hello Justmellow, please I need your opinion. I have 8 siblings, all older than I am and are all working. Is it necessary to fill the details of all of them? would this raise any concerns for the VO? I'm actually sponsoring myself and intend to use them as home ties. Please what do you think?

You can use it like that. Also, if your application isn't complicated (like no relationship between your previous and intended programmes) then you can even submit your app without your transcript (your statement of result and certificate should be enough)
thank you

Good evening house, please I'm here again for advice. The transcript I have in my possession is one which I acquired for my company while seeking employment and my school would always control the document and state on it "the name on the company ONLY". I want to ask if the VO seeing this might be concerned? Can I state the purpose for which I acquired so that explains the reason the document was controlled? I attended a private uni and paying 20k again for this transcript is what I want to avoid? Please what do you guys think? Ayodeji787, frankrobbn1

The VO has no business of wherever he is.

Concerning the sponsor documents. Here is what you need from him. Sponsor letter and it must state number of his dependents, affidavit of sponsor and must be notarized by any public notary in US, his bank statements, pay stubs, his international passport bio-data page and evidence of his legal stay in the USA, and how you guys are related and if he has sponsored you before also, you can provide the evidence.
Thanks for your response bro. With regards to relationship, he is a very close family friend that why I said third party, and because he's third party he's that's the reason he decided to make commitment. Hope the commitment helps the situation?
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by pete26(m): 7:43am On Jul 06, 2019
Good morning guys, please I need clarification here. A third party is willing to sponsor me and as such make commitment by crediting my account with a good part of my fees and he intends to continue throughout the course of my study and he is based in the US. So for a sponsor who isn't in Nigeria, asides the sponsorship docs required from a sponsor is there any special document he needs to provide? Also do you think there's going to be any concerns by the VO with the fact that he's not in Nigeria?

Normally, if you applied for a Research based MSc, admission offers usually comes with partial or full funding from the school or from your supervisor.

Like me, I was offered full funding of $16,850 per year from MUN and my tuition fees is just $4833 per year. Which means I still have $12,000 for living expenses.

I hope this help @pete26
thanks very much. I opted for an M.Eng, clearly not research based. Thanks for your assistance. If I may ask what course are going for and how far have you gone with your application?

PLENTY OF PRAYERS

After my medical request, I got a mail stating that the naira account seems fraudulent and requested for “my bank statement ticket ID and password”. I won’t lie to you this rattled me despite using a genuine statement of account. I generated the requested using my internet banking and sent to them as requested.

After so much waiting and praying it finally came.
I really want to use this opportunity to thank one of the most selfless human beings I know @frankrobbn1. Right from SOP review till date you’ve been most helpful. You’re blessed and always will be.
Then @awuuga I met you in this forum, I’m so happy our paths crossed, your a friend turned brother. What excites me the most is that we are going to the same school and the same course. Also, you being a term ahead of me gives me someone to look up to for guidance in school.

To all helping out applicants here, you guys are awesome. More power.

My advice to newbies, try and read the threads. It might be tiring and nobody expects you to read all the pages but read enough.
Congratulations

Hmmm
...na wa oo, this processes keeps getting tougher
mcobex:
CIC can be unpredictable sometimes and can go as far as they want. Soany people will say different things about the above question you raised but I will comment based on one case I witnessed, an applicant withdrew some cash from his account after submitting his app and CIC stated it in his gcms note that he made a withdrawal (the fact they mentioned the amount got me shocked). some bankers will tell you embassies only call to know the authenticity of the account and not the balance and withdrawal but from what I have seen they sometimes go as far as asking about certain transactions and also the history of the account after you applied .
My advice to you is this: Leave the money in your account throughout the visa process(especially if it hasn't exceeded the processing time)

I have a strong feeling he used a fake/doctored statement of account (I might be wrong though), because if not he has no reason to be scared.
please with respect to this fraudulent SOA issue, after submitting your SOA with your application, and some amount of money is withdrawn to carry out a business transaction, as CIC carry out their verification would this raise any red flag is there a way they check for the amount left in the account or is it just about the authenticity of the account?

Qudkom:

My extract on dealing with 3rd party sponsorship.

third party sponsorship

3rd party sponsorship is the use of individuals/organisations that dont have a direct relationship with you or have their own dependents.

It isn't impossible to use a 3rd party sponsor, but a lot of people find it hard to get the required details. A VO needs to understand why someone that isn't directly related to you (father, Mother, husband, wife or siblings without dependents) would want to sponsor you. The very first thing they need to understand is:

1. Has the 3rd party sponsor assisted you financially in the past with concrete EVIDENCE! .
2. Can you explain vividly the dependents of the 3rd party sponsor and how this won't affect future assistance.
3. Can you explain why a (3rd) would want to spend so much money on you!.

so ideally there isn't a perfect way to do this or a magical document to convince a VO. However if you can get the following among other supporting documents then you are fine. Also note the older you are the harder it is for a VO to believe your case and you can get flagged for rejection based on "Personal finance" or inadequate reason for embarking on an expensive program.

1. Show proof the (3rd) has assisted in the past

2. Explain vividly the (3rd) dependents in a
separate LOE. And back it up with documents

3. (3rd) financial portfolio

4. Rather than the (3rd) stating in the letter of employment that he/she promises to do this and that let the person pay a reasonable sum perhaps tuition. That way the LOS will have a statement such as
" I have paid the applicants 1st semester fee has my own quota of support towards the applicants studies and prepared to do more in future".
You will notice that the (3rd) has shown considerable support to convince the VO rather than making empty promises to the VO on supporting.

P.s; Age factor also matters when using a sponsor. And be very careful of "Personal assets and finance"
Thanks for your suggestion. What if the (3rd) tranfers my first year tuition+living expenses into my acct, and he states in his LOS that he has done so and would continue to do same during the course of my studies and shows proof of that transfer, does that suffice? If it does, is there a stipulated time the funds ought to be in my account for or it doesn't matter?

The best way for a third party to convince the vo is by either paying your tuition fee before you apply for TRV or transfer the entire funds + living expenses into your personal bank account.

Hello house, please I need your suggestions. I have someone who's willing to sponsor me as I apply for my Visa, but he is a close family friend, not a relative and he has a company. I need you advise on how to convince the VO that someone who isn't my relative is sponsoring me( considering our relationship as just family friends a d not relatives). Asides these documents, letter of sponsorship, SOA, tax clearance, CAC cert. and affidavit of sponsorship(or is it support), what other document does he need. Please any advice on this would be appreciated.

If your intended program is more than 1yr then I will suggest you get another person to stand in as a co sponsor and commit to shoulder some aspect of your studies such as either tuition or living expense while your personal fund shoulder the other one. If you go with this fund only as a self sponsor, the VO will have doubt as to how you intend to fund your second year of study without working or having recourse to public fund in Canada. Except if you can proof to have an established business with reliable streams of income adequate enough to fund your second year without liquidating or impairing on the smooth operation of the business.
Okay...Thanks
