You're correct in one respect: Yorubas are tribalistic. While serving, I observed that I was the only one - of all the Yoruba corpers in Orlu - that thought the igbos could be better at anything other than f.u.c.king.

Associating with Igbo and thinking they will be good administrators are, well, foolish thinking. When they were given the opportunity to be the senate president, they gave us five in four years.

I served in Orlu, Imo State. I was part of the adhoc staff of INEC that registered voters in 2006. We were held at gun-point to register primary school students.
