For those of you who dont know who a legend is,one died yesterday.A legend has an impact that cuts across religion, nationality, race, social strata and age.A legend does NOT have to be perfect before some of you start mentioning flaws. On the contrary being able to shine inspite of human failings is part of what makes a legend. My father remembers 'ABC' from the 60s or 70s,my little bro still tries to dance like him,my muslim colleague at the office is crazy about 'speechless'.I heard a street kid the other day singing 'heal the world'.'thriller' sold more than 50million copies all over the world. What about people who have a lifeline through money raised from concerts and shows.Which nigerian has the same impact in nigeria?Sadly, no one.Michael jackson was a legend.Even adeboye and 95% of RCCG will agree with me.The other 5% might soon come on NL raining abuses.

@becomerich, Been reading your posts on NL with some interest. Now,while you sound fascinating sometimes,i must say that that either the best part of you ran down your fathers legs and ended up as a brown stain on the bedsheet or you are perpetually high on God knows what, FYI the okirikas are ijaws just like the kalabaris and igbani speaking bonny, The difference between each is like the difference between an mbaise ibo and an nnewi ibo, And yes, they do have ibo blood.Dont they all?Cos most of them 'ijaws'have ibo mothers.

Chai, Lagos!, lol, The fundamental problems have not been solved, 1.Population-most of whom are poor. 2.Lagos is migration-friendly!Thats why even after the eko atlantic is built, people from VI/lekki/ikoyi go move go there, then property in these areas go crash, with the attendant influx and congestion, So that at any time, its only 10% of lag that will be worth livin in.For how long will they keep reclaiming land?My solution, The govt should put modalities in place to increase the cost of living thereby making it less attractive.Everybody must not live in a city.Convert most residential buildings on the mainland to highrises, The first solution might seen callous but desperate situations require desperate solutions.

@gem, BTW,Who said the govt cant afford to give their docs jumbo pay?A chief judge, who is a consultants counterpart in the judiciary takes home close to 15mill per annum. Is it not the same govt? The same govt where a senator embezzles 5billion naira in a rural electrification scam or earns millions for talking nonsense at the NASS?Do they think we are not watching?Animals!
