CardinalStone wants to make life difficult for me. So I sent my e-dividend mandate via my bank to them. I followed with a mail to be sure they got it. Now they are asking for specimen signature. The last time I had this same issue with Afriprud and United securities registrars, I stayed over a year without getting my dividend even when the supposed specimen signature was sent.


How do I boycott this tedious step and still get my dividend as at when die?. I need the tashere FCMB money.

Okomu oil performed poorly. And this is the season they are actually earn the most.

I will add just a few words to your suggestion:
Never approach these issues with emotions, take it as a game/war of attrition and enjoy yourself feeling you are frustrating them not to be comfortable imprisoning your money.
Consider your money they are holding like your captured troops.
I have personally being through with some of the most heartless and insensitive registrars, some started avoiding my calls and emails, but each time I EXCESSIVELY employed the tactics mentioned by you, I came out victorious.
I set reminders on my phone and laptop, anytime the reminders pop up, I will start my chain of emails and calls. On each call, I will make sure I drag issues and ask so many questions just to waste their time and print my identity on their minds.
Most times, after reading their replies that doesn't suit me, I will pretend I did not see the mails and return to the previous mail trail without their latest response to press on the same issues.
There was a registrar that had to call me and appeal to me that I should use a plain paper and write a letter with my bank details, duly signed, instructing them to pay me, then place my form of Identification on it, with an extra passport for picture clarity, then SNAP it and send to them. They paid me that same day. We completed the remaining formal processing later They were too frustrated and didn't need my extra heat!!!
They usually started the day with my calls/emails and closed the day with same. I have many lines (its not illegal)...
The last of my victims was Flourmills registrars....

Prof Prof. This is the reason we need you here. United Securities has been holding Access Bank dividend for over a year now, while Afripud has been on my UBA of 2017. I have sent mails, called and all. Nothing has worked. I have almost giving up on receiving the tasere money.

Yes CAVERTON actually does have something to do with the fluctuations in oil pricing.
In principal, a positive trend in the price of oil would mean a broader earnings base for the coys in that sector. ...and CAVERTON been a contractual player in the oil and gas space will in turn receive greater and better draw backs(receivables). ...which will then have a positive impact on their deriavable earnings.(pat margin)

Away from oil and gas related deals though, the company has other sources of building revenue and is also diversifying even more.
I have since said that there are lots of 'goodies' associated with this coy !!

Imagine Sterling not shedding in price. Nil dividend declared. Banks that declared dividend even though not up to expectations are being punished.

People think that the impact of the election will reflect in the books of caverton. I laugh in swahili. Caverton just did promo for APC. The free-float of Caverton is not that much. It is still below the approved limit for listed entities. It has good contracts with Shell, but it is not the only company that operates in the Oil and Gas space. This company is a family business that is just opening up for new people to come in and the Makanjuolas owns about 84% of this entity. Please do not place all your hopes in this company ooooo.

While I like your calling for caution, you must also understand that most major corporations started out as family run businesses. While, we exercise caution we must also be able to identify some goldmines. Every stock carries some measure of risk and I believe Caverton is no exception. I recognise and commend their growth. The moment they falter, I will be here to say it too.
