Diamond bank may go down badly with the news of the acquisition by Access Bank. No reasonable investor will sit and watch this happen without selling. There won't be any devaluation this year or pre-election. APC led govt can't afford that kind of de-marketing right now. Meanwhile, our reserve is even better than it was in 2016.

Wema Bank is better than Diamond Bank right now.

What is going on at Wapic? Unsual bid. Done close to 6m units already.

So far, majority of companies on the NSE have turned in good Q3 report. It only shows that the macro-economic space may not be as bad as painted. Ruling out global sell off and sentiment, NSE is supposed to be on a upward ride.


Transcorp seems to be finding it footing. This a growth stock that should be watched closely. Massive jump in earnings and all.

You are correct. It is Atlas Mara group. They just added a 1% stake to their shareholding in UBN.

Between now and July some stocks are going to pay investors. Some will give @least 50%. I will be making a small list of these stocks in a few days.

Do not take the recommendation as the reason to buy.

I have never seen a more poorly organised AGM. Shareholders can't even enter the venue. For most investors, the AGM souvenir is the only tangible thing they get from these companies. I have left the venue.
They have not even started by this time.

Will this ever come through. The share price declined significantly today. HoneyWell Flourmill needs to do better anyway.

HOW ZENITH ALMOST TOOK ALL OF MY PROFIT FROM TRANSCORP AND OANDO
On 30th May, I remember buying 350,000 units of zenith bank at 26.2 because I thought the bull was around, more so that diamond, fidelity, fcmb and transcorp (among others) went on a sudden full bid. Minutes later, the bulls started losing strength so I immediately sold all the units at 26.10. At that point I was pained because of the loss and the broker's fees which all came up to almost 210,000 loss in just a few minutes.
Looking back now at the price of zenith bank(25.50) today, I have no regrets. I would have lost more than the dividend would have given me. I even think I can get it at 24.

I don't think your calculation is correct. You lost 35k plus in real trade. Add your brokerage fee then you will get the rest. Give and take, still less than 100k loss as against the 210k loss you presented.

Recovery on the horizon. Meanwhile, Morgan capital is at it again. Not working this morning.
