Hello ,l want to ask if it wunt affect me..l have been denied Visa twice in Canada for studies, base on Family ties, and purpose of visit. l recently got admission into Brendforshire university, and University of Greenwich, for the first university, d asked me if l ve been denied Visa before l said yes, n d Emailed me saying d cant take d chances of giving me admission, bcus l may be denied again ... My question now is do u tink denying me student visa in Canada will affect me when l apply to Uk?

Secondly anyone going to Greenwich university for September program ?

I don't think UK has direct relation with Canada like that if na USA ehen
I saw someone on this thread who was denied USA, Canada, Australia visa but got his UK visa this year
So forget the school

I have gotten 12 admissions to UK uni while Canadian I got denied in all I applied to life

I intend studying Petroleum and Gas Engineering....what are the chances of securing a job after study?

I included it I think it's towards the ending of the application before you submit

I had admission in same school since November (Salford University) for MSc Procurement, Logistics and Supply chain management, my initial start date is May 2020 but I will have to deffer till Sept 2020,
I was only given a scholarship of 3,500 tuition reduction, and I'm sure your total tuition fees would have been reduced too. Could this be a sign of post Brexit admission? or it's something I need to call their attention to

Call their attention to a scholarship, why if I may ask? Well if you go through their course page you will see they offer scholarships for international student ranging from 3500 down to 2500 so I think is part of their policy..other institutions offered me similar scholarships tho but not much I think the highest was 1500

Salford University they offered me a reduction of 4000 called it excellence award

So I spoke to an agent randomly he told me to tackle travel history I should try and visit two or three schegen countries before applying...i don't know how it will affect positively

We all know about this and I have seen lots of applicants on other Visa forums from top rated countries getting visas to Canada with just bank letter showing available balance.

However does it work for Nigerian applicants whose sponsors are resident here in Nigeria? That's the question, since you said proof of funds goes beyond showing money.

Is it necessary I show my pay slip as I don't intend to add the account the salary is being paid into but the account my sponsor opened treasury bill and also deposited 10 million

Please don't take such uncalculated risk because the outcome won't be advantageous to you, considering that winter is barely 4 weeks from now. My candid advice is that you defer your admission to Spring/Fall 2020, gather more information/documents to show you've more than sufficient funds to cover for your tuition, transportation and living expenses in Canada. While doing this, also cross all T's and dot all i's by making sure your purpose of visit and home ties to your country of citizenship is adequately well-established.

1) travel history
2) home ties
3) current employment situation....

Ways I want to tackle them
2) home ties my dad wants to do a deed of gift of our two houses estimated to 70 million current market price backdated to 2017 in my name
Secondly a treasury bill account of about 15 million has been opened in my name asides the tuition fee and living expenses
My sis trad wedding is this Dec so a group family photo will be added
3) for current employment situation I started working with my brother with a salary of 180k since August ending..... He is the ceo while I am one of the directors
I don't know if this is enough

My brother, if you like, explain your genealogy, from how you were conceived and destined to study that course, how the current Canadian pm was born to rule to how the school was set up to help you achieve your goals to how that course will change your generation, Bros study permit don cast for Nigerians, they are not issuing again. Let's stop deceiving ourselves.
@frank If you like write letter of explanation to letter introduction to sound SOP. They will still deny. How many of the people you have advised to repackage and reapply that have gotten approval. My candid advice to fellow Nigerians, let's take a chill from study permit for now. If you like pay full year tuition, show all the millions, they are not giving. We have seen first class graduates been denied here. We have seen near perfect applications that are far better than mine, yet they come up with their generic refusal reasons. Some they just return the application without reason for denial. You have to mail them and then they will copy any r refusal letter on their screen and paste for you. Its ridiculous. Let's stop wasting our application fees.

Also know of someone denied twice third time got her visa
I also know of someone who left August

That's the point I'm making, POF is beyond showing millions of naira in the SNigeriare are points which the Visa officers consider in making decision of inadequate or insufficient fund, mostly adequacy of fund. Last year a graduate of UNN in these forum got an approval with just N150k or less SOA..

Another and the main reason for generic points of refusal such as insufficient fund, I'm not satisfy you will leave Canada after study, travel history, home tie etc is as a result of the applicant previous institution which may not be among their list of approved institutions in Nigeria though the Visa officers will not state it direct but rather use one these generic reasons for you to come and reapply and thus get another hammer.

Cos I hve three friends from private schools who got their visa abi four
Two from Babcock
One from afebabalola University
Another from Madonna University
