Birdbyrde440:FAR gone into what exactly? Glory, greatness, wealth, fame, what? MOREOVER, how d'you define POSITIVE CHANGE? Are modern rail networks, modern transport facilities and interchanges, improving and rebuilt health facilities, film city, hugo IGR, biggest entertainment structure in AFRICA, low unemployment rate, low poverty index, improving industrialisation, wealth creation, food security programmes, improving HDI etc. all negative trends or change? If these ain't positive change, show me the positive ones FROM THE REGIONs THAT YOU DON'T CARE TO DO REVOLUTION IN. OR DON'T GOVERNMENTs AND MASSES OF THOSE REGIONs MATTER? Birdbyrde440:Nobody likes tribal war but realistically, you ain't setting your priority right. YOU complain about bad management but gun for the destruction of the manageable resources created AND YOU WANN INSIST YOU HAVE THE INTEREST OF THE PEOPLE AT HEART? Clowns YOU DID SAME MID 60s, it sunk millions of your people but you never learn, you're right at it again,, hoping to cunningly destroy others, TILL YOU'LL END UP DESTROYING MORE INNOCENT PEOPLE FROM YOUR REGION. A word ............. |
Irony1:PERHAPS, the word hypocrisy has changed meaning overnight. I don't think you understand the meaning of the word to start with, let alone relating it to reality. TRULY OUR CYBER SPACE IS FILLED UP WITH ENORMOUS EDUCATED ILLITERATES. NO objective argument, they only drag you around for mudfight, holding onto illogical stance without backing down no matter the quality of the evidence against it. IRRATIONAL ID!0T |
Okay |
Good, and strictly monitor the areas to keep them clear of any market/shanties/waste return GOD BLESS LAGOS STATE GOD BLESS ALL SOUTHWEST STATES OF NIGERIA GOD BLESS ALL OMOLUABI OF YORUBALAND |
Bad.The fear of being murdered or harrassed outside on MONDAYs are enough to raise anybody's BP if you objectively look at it |
Irony1:CONTINUE deceiving, yourself. so it's not bad when a certain region hate on others but THE VICTIM MENTALITY SUDDENLY DESCEND UPON YOU THE MOMENT RETALIATORY COMMENT SURFACE, or what's your point? LOOK into the mirror, the hypocrite will come,up facing you unblocked. |
Birdbyrde440:YOU say they're in poverty but you GUYS are the ones crying,so much online and offline over your percieved SITUATION of the country. CONTINUE, your stvpidity,is LEGENDARY! |
Irony1:In that thread you mentioned, my comment wasn't to even support or oppose the EASTERNERS or anyone at that but to spell out the reality as against the BOAST and CHESTBEATING going on in there. The reality is that hardly would anyone care what brand of vehicle is taken them, what people care and pay attention to is the DESTINATION the driver is going. About this, if your hope (your tribe notwithstanding) or anybody's hope (their tribes notwithstanding too)is to make LAGOS or any SW states the CENTRE of whatever revolution/unrest/protest/destruction they have in mind, then they're simply headed for a solid RESTRICTION and/or RETALIATION. TAKE YOUR REVOLUTION TO ANYWHERE BUT SOUTHWEST, IS THAT TOO MUCH TO,ASK OR D'YOU GUYS HAVE ANY OTHER MOTIVE ATTACHED TO YOUR WISH. |
Revolution is needed in SOUTH EAST I think especially with numerous murders and kidnapping ongoing in there in addition to poor governance of their representatives but you see, SOUTHWEST spare us the BULLS#!T as we're contented with rail, roads, investment, commerce, security, and entertainment etc. Infrastructures our leaders are providing for us that even attracts MIGRANTS FROM OTHER REGIONS WHOM THEIR FAILED LEADERS couldn't provide same. IT'S not the best, but we'll continue to clamour for improvement the peaceful ways we know without disturbing the neighbourhood or partake in/allow haters the destruction of amenities they couldn't get |
Just love the way LAGOS don't monopolized these skyscraper/skyline development to EKO ATLANTIC alone, with the VICTORIA ISLAND, IKOYI, BANANA ISLAND etc all revolving into beauty that we so wanted and promote. AND yet, EAC is steadily developing into the pride that we aspire and hope it would be. GIVE it time buddies, but know for sure we have a beautiful gem on our hands. OCEAN GREEN ISLAND is also in the pipeline, you know. |
.....and here in NIGERIA, some people just dey born babies up and down like puppies DESPITE OUR ECONOMIC CHALLENGES and explosive POPULATION. We need to control our birth rate here as much as we must WORK ON THE GENERAL UPGRADE OF OUR IMMEDIATE and COLLECTIVE SOCIETIES, as patriotic individuals and as responsible government. |
I guess a consexual sex gone wrong they meant to say. A 19 YRS old going into an hotel knew what she was going in there to do but it rest on the court to decide though. |
Last time I checked, anybody can use any brand of vehicles for transport and there are other brands of them in their thousands running this kind of business on LAGOS roads, so how's seeing one of a brand a source of boast against other dealers and the commuters of LAGOS state? SOMEONE even proclaimed that SOME TRIBE would enter it and yet be hating on the firm AS IF 95 percent (don't wanna even say 99%) of commuters using public transport CARE TO KNOW WHICH BRAND OF VEHICLE IS TAKING THEM TO,WORK OR WHEREVER. SOME people and useless chestbeating like a pathetic APE |
JUSTWHEN THEY MUST HAVE BEEN GRATEFUL THEY MADE IT TO THE END OF THE YEAR IN GOOD HEALTH YET, THEY NEVER WOULD'VE THOUGHT THEIR END WAS NEAREST AS THEY HEADED OUT THAT DAY. SO SAD AND RIP TO THE DECEASED. |
Good. More FDI please |
It's simple, operate or sink and that's suppose to be the message from FG to them all |
Hmmmmm, incredible. |
If only we can do more for our society, neighbours and tomorrow, perhaps things would've been so perfect in this part of the world. IF ONLY.... |
Really? ..............THE said buses were originally ABUJA/FCT transport facilities before they went down and it's only IDEAL for the serious minded new government to look into them, repair and bring them back on the roads, even if they still need to add more numbers (new fleet)to them for sustainability of the system. OR WOULD,YOU HAVE WANTED A WASTEFUL GOVERNMENT THAT DISCARD MANAGEABLE FACILITIES, NEEDING ONLY REPAIR, FOR THE PURCHASE OF NEW ONES? WON'T YOU GUYS BE THE FIRST TO CALL THEM OUT FOR SUCH TOO? WHY THE COMPLAINTS ALWAYS? |
blueAgent:Nobody is against FDI, at least I ain't as well. More FDI mean more strenght, diversity and flexibility of the economy which in a literal sense means more IGR and employment opportunity but these doesn't take away the fact that we need more indigenous enterprises too to balance up the situation as having more of them would show the level of improvement of our HDI in respect and contribution to the development of the GDP. All advance countries try to balance these up as well so as to keep the economies in healthy shape, including the USA you named. We need both too. AND lastly, don't be stereotypical over staffs mistreatments in indigenous firms. It (the allegation) cut across both type of entities and, the fact that you've come across an indigenous firm that maltreated staffs doesn't mean others do and IT DOESN'T ALSO MEAN SOME FOREIGN FIRMS DON'T TOO (too bad one can't start pointing fingers here). |
This is great news. I hope they start construction as early as next year so as to finish on time and thus alleviate the stress commuters go through plying those corridor everyday. By GOD the people deserve better; and fast. MAY GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS LAGOS STATE opamoses1:OR they say it's because LAGOS was once an FCT and that's if they don't outrightly claim the rail lines, were, constructed by FG. Bosenan:^^^ Can't agree more. That's why the man must put all his strenght behind the actualization of the projects before he leaves office to cement his name in the history book (of GREAT LAGOSIANS) for generations to come. And I hope he does. GOD BLESS HIM and GOD BLESS LAGOS MORE AND MORE. |
blueAgent:SHAME. Why d'you live all your life with, in and by complaints? FDI, you guys complained it's not good enough 'cause revenue/profits get exported at the end of the day, and now when an indigenous one had acquired a foreign owned to keep the revenue/profits within societal benefits, you still complain of staffs mistreatments EVEN THOUGH THAT ALLEGATION HAD OFTEN BEEN THE COMPLAINTS MANY OF YOU OFTEN CITE AGAINST THE FOREIGN INVESTMENT TOO. Sometimes, one wonders if some of you only type without brains. |
The faster the GREEN LINE connecting LFTZ, IBEJU and the PURPLE LINE connecting RCCG CAMP got underway, the better it's poised to be for residents living in those corridors and experiencing the hell of traffic explosion on their respective roads. I honestly don't understand why the state can't or don't undertake other lines through PPP for faster delivery and quicker solution to our roads congestion. At least, we've seen how fair the BLUE LINE is faring. GOD BLESS LAGOS STATE |
Perhaps further analysis needed for some members; don't blame them, our level of assimiliation varies |
Great but this shouldn't stop any or each state capable of or already in the process of generating its own sufficient power away from the national grid to continue because even at 25GW, our power consumption would still require the input of independent players to be sufficiently satisfied or thereabout; owning to our vast population and aspired manufacturing capacity. GOD BLESS NIGERIA GOD BLESS ME AND YOU TOO |
Imagine this... |
Wickedtruths:Haaa, please spare the kid, this ya truth dey too wicked. Spare am abeg. |
Just love the way he stood in the position that matters so none cansay he was not recognized enough |
Good one. Hope other states follow suit. Manufacturing and production is the way to go. DIVERSIFY! |
Ain't bad, more FDI. Win, win for the two economies |
We need more indigenous companies acquiring these foreign firms and help set up an economy that improve and promote their immediate and larger society GOD BLESS NIGERIA |
Good for him. Cheers to many more successful years |
