Please I need to understand what it means for my visa status to go from"Application Received" to "No status" on the ceac tracking website after 8 weeks. I applied for a B1/B2 Visa using IW option since 1st December 2022, and I haven't received my visa till date. I'm so confused. Has anyone else experienced this? Any clarification will be much appreciated.

It simply means your visa was not approved. You will need to eventually schedule a regular interview with the embassy.

You will need to track your passport; I presumed your passport will have been at the DHL office for pick up.

I collected my wife and my kids stamped passports today. Application was submitted Sept 8th, approval letter was issued November 8th with a grace of 30 days to submit original passport. I rushed to reissued new passports for the four them and by November 23rd Thier passports were submitted to DHL for further processing.
I don't know Canada - Nigeria office have started stamping visa on passport. My two was issued at Nairobi and London but family members own was issued in Abuja.

Please more clarification on the subject matter. What age bracket for children will been exempted for payment for the test kits and where can the information been drawn from gov.uk .....thanks ]

My visa is still valid till May, so she's the only one applying for now with my 4 months statement of account.

I feel the unemployment status doesn't really matter, since I will be attaching my visa page as her husband and sponsor based on my profile with UKVI.

What do you think ?

you don't need to flag she is unemployed, she can be presented to run an unregistered retail business that does not require payment into her account for the business transaction. however, you need to submit her account statement (don't mind the balance) to reflect some financial transaction between you as a couple. we can talk more behind the screen (am not an agent)

I just got my expired visa renewed and pick up my 2 years visa today. Although,got the notification for pick up on Friday. My biometric was done on 1st of March with six days to expiration of old visa while my family members own is still valid to June.

We have arrange to set out for the plan vacation sometimes in April. Wishing other expectants best of luck.

You need to recheck what was charged, payment for 2years is in range of 520£ to 530£ officially for UKVI.

I salute you all, I will need your support and advice in my decision making. I have a valid UK visa that will expire in March. I have a plan to travel in April with my family members whose visas expire by June.
my MI =330K, ME=75K, DI=255K. and the golden rule of using 2.5 of DI to plan one's expenses take me to 637.5k (1,215GBP). To me, the amount is too low for a family of five to travel with. I am looking at (2000GBP) which will amount to 4 times DI is this acceptable even though I have total savings on two accounts to a tune of (14867GBP) all inflows are definable.
In the course of renewal of my visa does the rule of 2.5 of DI applicable to my case.
I look towards your review and comments.

Nevermind your refusal, there is always a learning curve. My first application was refused too despite my travel history to USA, Canada, Schengen area and Saudi Arabia. Because I didn't explain the lodgement of cash into my account I was refused. I mastered their requirements with finance and within last two months I got Visa approved my family (5 nos) and another 5 Visas for friends and their family. ( am not an agent) .
For what to put as expenses just be moderate with money. 2.5 times your disposable income is good. God will see you through.

One can use business account to make a successful account and you don’t need to pay yourself salary

Just to buttress your point, I have applied for a friend and his family members with business account and it all came out successful. Visas will start reading but 12th of this December.
As mentioned no big deal, be comprehensive enough with your application and you get your Visa easily. Best of luck.

Notification for passport pick up just dropped from TLS Ikeja. My wife will be there to pick up her passport tomorrow. Since the collection window is 9:00am to 4:00pm

My wife was at TLS Ikeja yesterday to collect her passport. Visa granted, validity till June 2021. Wish others best of luck.

As requested, it is a visiting Visa and with travel history of Saudi Arabia, US, Canada and France. My first UK application was refused because no proper analysis of financial transactions in bank account.
I ensured I tidy up the gap on this application and the result is victory.

At last, the waiting of 5months and 24days came out fruitful. I picked up my passport at TLS Ikeja this afternoon and my Visa was approved. The storm of hoping is over, many thanks to everyone.

There is a golden rule of expedite process for someone with used US Visa, infact Canada gave option of not submitting financial record. My accessment was based on my personal experience with Canada. After my first refusal, when I returned from US and resubmitted my application it was granted although 9 months which was the validity of my passport and visited .At the expiration of Visa, I reapplied with new passport and was granted 5 years. Golden rule is that never allow either of Visas to expire before submitting application for the other. Wish you best of luck .

I will advise those who submitted their application prior to lockdown to visit tls contact. A close relative submitted passport in March and was expecting the pick up mail. After many days of no information, out of frustration, we visited tls yesterday (Tuesday) only to discover that the passport is ready for pick-up.

Prior to this, we had sent many mails even using the paid mail service last week and they told us to wait for 15 working days that our complaint was being escalated.

Please for a clearer understanding can you state the stage your relative application was before you visited TLS. I mean was application with DMC or with VAC that prompted you to there. With your advice, I was at the centre today though I got there late and couldn't achieve anything. I look forward receiving a positive response. Many thanks.

Yes have a valid US visa

Having valid US Visa is not automatic approval for Canada Visa. I once experienced that too. Canada only honoured a used America Visa. I will advise you visit US first and when returned you resubmit application definitely you get your Visa.

It is a tough time with many people whose application were submitted for review in the month of March. After 5 Months, people are still waiting and hoping to get their passport returned with Visa granted. I submitted my application March 16 shortly before lockdown. Sometimes in the Month of May I sent a mail to UKVI through a paid service and got a reply that my passport is safe and secure. Recently, I sent a reminder and was informed am going to get escalated attention and should expect response in 15 working days and the next day I got another message from SITEL which I attached here for information. I will like people with similar experience to share what outcome they got from the process.

Also to reserve did you connect your bank card to the hotel as you need to look into your statement they might charge you a no show charge so i suggest you mail/ring the hotel as they are a business positioned at making money.

Thanks for your response to my worries concerning my application. The reservation was made on pay at the property and when the cancellation came due COVID 19 palaver, there was no charges on my bank card. My prayer is for world to get over and out of this deadly pandemic and resume a normal life. Get my passport back and move on with life.

Kindly furnish me with information, my application was submitted on the 16th of March. Due to coronavirus, application is still under review. However, my hotel reservation was cancelled as a result of covid 19, my fear is that wouldn't the cancellation affect the outcome and what can be done to rectify the issue before final decision is taken by the ECO.

since it is beyond two weeks I think you should visit or contact vfs global

It is possible you didn't pay for SMS notification with vfs global. it happened to me too. just walk in there to check your passport will have been ready for collection.

In response to this transcript of your post regarding the refusal of visa. I was at the embassy for interview that day. i remembered the two kids referring to him as Uncle Victor and Uncle Uche.
The woman that came with the kids couldn't be their mother based on her age and from her conversation with the VO, she was holding visa which was cancelled and asked to reapply.
I was lucky my visa was issued and waiting for pick up. however, i had my issue that day. i went with my family (my wife and one of my kids). i never noticed the error of mis-match of bar codes of my family (confirmation and appointment form) they were prevent from going in with me.
presently, i am trying to sort out that issue. sincerely don't have a clue. i have tried the contact number on home page for advise but wasn't going.
if you have any advise on this issue kindly provide, thanks and God bless.
