Tinubu was to start some of these things but Obasanjo frustrated his efforts and i think Governor Fashola has all these in his plans, dont forget how complex Lagos is. The Governor is only human and cant do this alone and I think u should try and send ur article to him, I bet you he'll appreciate it.

Music/RadioRe: What Do You Think About Wazobia Fm And Cool Fm? by pheesayor(m): 11:13pm On Oct 31, 2008
iceblue:
i think wazobia fm is tight!! but i hear rumors that they are linked to cool fm. well, even if they are, they shouldn't make the same mistake cool did - which is why they're now 'advert fm'.
while we're on the subject, can someone please throw dotun away? the guy must be tone deaf what with the kind of music he plays. the afrotropical hour in the morning is enough to put me in a foul mood, yet ejike can find lovely african tracks to play. it's almost as though dotun selects his music from dan foster's 'flushed' songs!!! what's up with that?
It's not a rumour, they are both located in the same place (Etim Iyen crescent) and I think wazobia was meant to be the exact opposite of cool fm

Thanks for your patience. If the fluid feels like water, I would say it's probably sweat. You can't mistake the ammonia smell from urine. Like I said, people who loose a lot of weight are usually left with excess skin folds, and you know these skin fold bear hair follicle, and these follicle perspire in hot weather. Keep the area clean and dry at all times and you will notice a significant improvement.
If you still suspect that you have a fistula(abnormal communication between 2 organs), then you need fistulogram, which is injection of a dye and watching to see where it comes out of. This is usually done in a doctors office or in the operating room while you sleep.
Your complaint about pain on both of your thighs suggests something above where the nerve that serves both areas of your legs come off. I would like to know if you have back pain during or before this symptom. If you do, then I would attribute the condition to irritation of the sciatic nerve. Even if you don't, I would advice against things that would potentially cause back pain for you, ie lifting heavy objects with your back, sitting/standing improperly for a long time, lying down on a bad surface, etc.
@naijaking1
Thanks for the reply. I havent lost a lot of weight and it even first happened in 2003 when I wasnt this fat yet so I FEEL that is not the case, fistulogram, how do I go about it and is it availaible in NIgerian hospitals? As for the pain, it is only in the left femur (that's where I feel it) and the muscle shaking shaking is on the upper side of the right lap. I dont have back pain, I only have pain below ribs (towards my back) anytime I sneeze.
Pls Holla back

Good to hear that you're loosing weight successfully.

In morbidly obese people, hygiene could be an issue, however, if water is truely coming out of your anus, then you need an evaluation for fistula.

I suspect that excess skin folds, hair follicles produce a lot of sweat to make you think water is coming from your anus.

If the water 'feels, smells like sweat' I would say it's sweat, but if you're passing urine-like material from your anus, then you go for proctosigmoidoscopy(anal and rectal) examination by your md.

Sleeping positions vary, I would stick with which ever position makes you most comfortable.

@naijaking1, Naijamedico, Balogun & co.
I would say its water but it is worsened when I sweat and now I can't afford to put on bright coloured trousers because of the embarassment the sweat causes.
What is evaluation for fistula and what does it involve?

As for loosing weight, I was down with typhoid last week but I took out my sister's YOYO BITTERS, It didnt releive the typhoid at all but throught the 7 days, I neither lost appetite nor vomitted so my hope of loosing more weight was dashed but I'm trying.
this is the post, and there has been a new development lately. I usually have sharp pain in my left lap bone(femur) and my right thigh muslces (just below my pelvic region) usually moves uncontrollably untill I hit the area. What could be wrong with me again? Expecting ur reply, thanks.

PoliticsLagos Denies Plan To Close Apapa Oshodi Expressway by pheesayor(op): 10:36am On Oct 25, 2008
………….Plans only to Construct Itire-Okota link bridge for now

The Lagos State Government has denied plans to close down the Apapa Oshodi Expressway as recently reported in a section of the media stressing that ,its plans is a partial diversion of traffic on  a small portion of the road  to allow for  the construction of the Itire- Okota link Bridge which is aimed at relieving the people of Alimosho, Ejigbo and okota axis as well as reduce pressure on the already over used Isolo-Mushin link Bridge.

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Works and Infrastructure, Engr Ganiyu A. Johnson who gave this clarification said everything has been put in place to ensure smooth flow of traffic and minimum discomfort to commuters during the exercise.

He emphatically stated that the state Government is NOT Carrying out any repairs on the Apapa Expressway as speculated in some quarters for now.

Engr Johnson further explained that the State Government is to work for now, just only on 40 meters along the service lane of the Oshodi- Bound section of the Apapa Expressway which is between Ijesha and Cele Bus Stop, while the Main carriageway of the Expressway will still be available to Motorists for use.

He further clarified that No Work is being carried out presently on the Apapa bound section of the Road for now, and this will be available for use for all motorists who are Apapa bound.

Engr. Johnson also explained that the the time frame for  the present exercise  is to be carried out is  only for 45days for this segment , while the project works will be shifted to the service lane of the other side of the Expressway after the completion of the first phase.

While the Construction work is on –going , Engr Johnson explained that the State Government has provided alternative routes for those who chose not to use  the main carriageway of the expressway which will still remain open during this period.

The Optional Alternative Routes for those who chose not to use the main carriageway in the Oshodi bound section are Adesina Street or Agunlejika- Ijesha- Ogunlana Street-omolola/shofolahan/ola street- Adedeji street- Odo-Eran-Onitire Road-Apapa- Oshodi Expressway.

Similarly Motorists can also make use of alternative routes like Adesina or Agulejika - Omilani Street- Enitan Street-Agboyin Street- Adelabu Street -Masha- Ogunlana Drive- Itire-Lawanson – Apapa-oshodi Expressway.

Engr Johnson assured Lagosians that the State Government has deployed over 200 LASTMA officials and other traffic officers to guide Motorists during this period, while Diversionary Signs have also been provided to aid motorists during the period.

He therefore solicited for the assistance of Lagosians to join hands with the State Government during this period and assured that, the promise of delivering an Enduring Net work of roads that will facilitate effective transportation in the state is Irrevocable.

PoliticsRe: Advice To Lagos State Government! by pheesayor(m): 10:50pm On Oct 21, 2008
Raskimono:
The writer of the post is very clear. It means a park and ride system as it used in all other countries in the world. You park your car in a public parking lot, which you pay a fee for and ride to work and on the way back, pick your car. These lots will be located outside the city where people come from. It saves costs for the rider and will generate revenue for the govt. Simple.
I think there is a point there. Most party spaces built around my area lack parking space and I think the government should look into this it increases traffic during weekends, basically another reason for traffic in lagos is that everyone wants to own a car and this is killing Lagos. The Governor is working and we should smile soon

OBJ is not the future, he is the past, he has done his part, finished his script and done with nigeria, we should be done with him too, let him be,
Yar'Adua is the present, he should focus on the job on his table and stop the bad image painting of another man, he will leave there one day and YOU may be the future. NO sane people drive forward by looking back
Let's be positive, this is also killing Nigeria. There is still hope for the future

Then have urs ears re-examined cos even critics love the song
mbulela:
Faze set such high standards with his 2nd album that much was expected from this new album.
it is a good album but probably a bit below the expectations.
it is an album that will grow on you with time.
at present I'm feeling that 'my story' and 'tattoo remix'.
I agree with u on that, the songs are better but if u listen once then u wont feel anything, that's exactly what caused the 'flop' of his first album
mbulela:
i attended the album launch and one thing is obvious, what Faze is lacking is professional management. the packaging is lacking professional touch.
the guy has exceptional voice.when he says he is blessed, here is no doubting it. good voices are lacking in Nigerian music industry at present and Faze is an exception.
Another factor that really affected his first album, about the good voice, some idiots wont agree with that

Cold is a common problem that easily spreads in the dry season. In order to prevent its spread, experts have stressed the need for people to imbibe the act of regular hand washing as a means of protecting themselves from contracting the germs that are responsible for the symptom.

Hammattan is around the corner. Of course, it is expected that the whole atmosphere will be full of dust and many people are likely to complain of runny nose. While symptoms of sneezing and blocked noses may merely be due to cough and catarrh, some are reactions to the dust in the air. In some cases, they are due to sinusitis, a situation that could arise if the cold has become complicated.

PoliticsLagosians To Face Another Hardship - As Govt Closes Apapa-oshodi Road by pheesayor(op): 2:12am On Oct 16, 2008
THE ever-busy Apapa-Oshodi Expressway will be closed to traffic from next Thursday, the Lagos State government has announced.

Coming barely a fortnight after the Third Mainland Bridge was re-opened to traffic after almost two months of closure, the Apapa-Oshodi expressway will be partially closed in order to carry out piling operations for the construction of the Okota-Itire Overhead Link bridge.

Announcing the partial closure at a joint press conference at the Bagauda Kaltho Press Centre, Alausa, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Works, Mr. Ganiyu Johnson, said the operation, which would be in three phases, would last 120 days.

Johnson said the first phase, which involves piling operation on the Oshodi-bound side of the expressway, would last 45 days during which only heavy-duty trucks would be allowed passage in some sections of the road while light vehicles would be diverted.

During this period, light vehicles going to Oshodi from Apapa are expected to drive through Adeshina Street (by Ijesha Bus-stop), Agunlejika Street (Agunlejika Bus-stop), while vehicles going to Surulere could drive through Ijesha Road-Lawanson/Itire Road-Iyana-Itire and link their destinations.
