Fayose himself knows he can't withstand the might of the Federal government. His banana peel couldn't do anything when obasanjo's federal might booted him out of office. Trouble days are indeed ahead of Governor Fayose I tell you. Everything will be done in accordance with the rule of the land. You just watch as events unfold.

Let's wait and see if GMB will do Fayose something or not. If you know how a government is run, then you'll know a state governor cannot run his state in isolation without the required support from the Federal government.
Every other PDP governor will relate with GMB freely but Fayose can't. That's my point

Am afraid the elections in those states may be cancelled at the elections tribunal. Fresh elections will be conducted if that happens and the man wanted by the people in the states will come up tops. You cant just ignore the evidences available to show clearly that the elections were manipulated, rigged. Look at the number of people that were killed in Rivers alone. It's sad people see political offices as their lifes. It is supposed to be a place where you are being called to service, where you have to work for the people not an office you have to kill to get to. Change is coming to our dear country. Some people will be forced to change their mentality when the time comes. We can't just continue this way in this country

Fayose wouldn't have been in this situation if he had acted civil all along. In as much I plead for peace in Ekiti, Fayose should be ready to face the consequences of his actions against the APC and the President elect at the Federal level. He is certainly not going to have a good relationship with the presidency and won't enjoy the support of some federal institutions going forward. I think it's only the intelligent people that will understand my point here. I don't know what will become of him when he no longer has the grace of using the soldiers and police to push his way through as usual.
Fayose said a lot of dirty things which am sure will come to haunt him in the nearest future
Very soon, he will be forced to behave like a normal person which he is not used to and life will be very boring for him.
As for Ekiti people, I wish them all the very best with Fayose. I have never known Fayose to be prudent.

As a rebuttal to this topic www.nairaland.com/2252397/oyo-state-governorship-result-majority that made frontpage this morning, I want you'll to know that majority of ajimobis supporters are not so vocal and aggressive. We are the so called elites/middle class.

Ajimobi as a governor never transacted with thugs and riff raffs right from the inception of his government which has been the characteristics of previous governments. That's why he has been able to quell the notorious security situation of the state which was very prominent in the days of Adedibu and PDP.

Previous governors were just political jobbers who depended on "sharing" the money and sponsoring political thugs throughout their tenure without achieving anything tangible.

This is where the "Ajimobi's" difference comes into play. We the middle class/elites have enjoyed maximum peace and relative infrastructural development which has been the hallmark of his administration. We definitely won't be able to benefit from the "share the money syndrome" because we are mostly reserved and law abiding people with high moral values.

It can also be deduced from the final results collated that instead of the popular opposition parties to bury their pride and form an alliance, they instead succeeded in sharing their votes amongst each other, thereby making a headway for the APC candidate.

I hereby reiterate that those that are complaining about Ajimobi's win are the local thugs and riff raffs who has been used to the "share the money syndrome" and have benefited financially from public disruptions and toutish tendencies from previous administrations. They are obviously more vocal and aggressive in displaying their discontentment.


We need peace and progress in Oyo State. Thanks

The igbos should tell themselves the truth. We have seen igbos become commissioner in Lagos. We have also seen igbos will election there as well. I think they should rather be grateful rather than claim what doesn't make sense. The truth is Lagos doesn't belong to the igbos. I advise them to play their card well now to get a soft landing at the end of the day when APC finally win. They shouldn't present themselves as enemies of the Yorubas in their own land. Lagos will be too hot for them to stay and do business if the yorubas become hostile to them. Agbaje and ambode surely will hook up after the election and party together somehow. Igbos might end up not enjoying the cooperation of the yorubas like they used to if common sense is not applied in this matter.
