Not only are these VOs been a VO by profession, they are also a psychologist. They mostly assess every application before them with critical views. In this case, let honesty play out, and in my personal opinion; point 1 is a valid reason. These VOs understand the academic Systems in Canada, and most of the VOs would be expecting applicants in this situation to lie.

Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made."

Going through the bolded, I will have to prove you wrong by saying that this thread is indeed a charity organization because people from different nationalities come here to seek and acquire vital informations for free, which on a norm it will cost them a hell lot of money from immigration consultants out there. Background check is your criminal history. That is why your fingerprints are collected. They are run over an extended database to see if an applicant has committed crime somewhere or wanted or applied for visa and rejected or removed from another country. There is no second guessing, vetting is a necessary process of the application process and its undeniably done.

That might be true but the policy is vague. If you apply for change of status in the US, even for green card and it gets denied..the next thing is deportation process

Why wasn't the show filmed in Nigeria? I think southern and parts of eastern Africa are the most beautiful parts of Africa ,I like that sub tropical climate and atmosphere , it's like California.
The Western and central Africa has rain forest tropical climate which isn't too appealing , especially with the overpopulation in the region. but rain forest tropical climate and atmosphere could be appealing too , though in this case Nigeria is overpopulated and the rain forest environment isn't maintained. the inhabited areas are also underdeveloped ,primitive and crime ridden .
i'm not sure i'll ever vsit Nigeria with all the news and photos I see on this forum everyday. The general impression and vibe I get about Nigeria is an unsafe shiithole inhabited by subhumans .
I've seen news of armed robbers attacking and robbing police stations in Nigeria , armed robbers having more fire power and killing soldiers . plus all those beheading and blood ritual videos . who then is safe ? simply unbelievable . I have no faith visiting Nigeria even with 10 military body guards as the armed robbers seem to have more fire power than the Nigerian police and military.
Even so,the underpaid Nigerian police guards and military guards could conspire to rob you. who then is safe ? what a disorganized shiithole .
