Marriage is a different ball game. I remember my post marriage days when we can’t wait to get to see each other, we plan and share things together. Waiting to continue the process by sealing the deal with marriage. Unfortunately for some of us, things changed drastically and some of us are regretting the union in the first place. Some are living hell and can’t wait for death to do the unbinding. Some are already contemplating divorce or separation. It’s as if a devil jumps in the middle of the fantasy and scatters the union before it even starts. For newly weds, some are even better off single. As for me I am learning and trying to adjust, but sometimes I feel sorry and sad on Saturdays, I feel sorry for those unprepared folks that jump into marriage because of the jamboree of wedding, marriage is work o, kindly share your experiences and let’s be factual. I want to know if Na only me kill Jesus.. or we plenti for there… newlyweds please, 1-5years marriage and above. |
I remember my job hunting days,… those days I suffered hen? I thought I was dumb, I went for interviews with workforce and wrote loads of test on the dragnet platform… Omo those guys belittled me, I bought GMAT text book because of em, and I get lousy mails about how I didn’t meet up to their stupid criteria, it was depressing.. However, when God says it’s your time, No man can say otherwise. I wrote a test with one of the biggest Pharma firms in Nigeria and I passed, been working there since… about 8 years now, am not where I wanna be but I am not where I was… |
U people are lieing o.... I was told two died in Ibadan |
I realised we don't have a recognised body and most of us got into this line of work by chance. Some people are already contemplating if they should venture into it or not.... Please share your experiences here, you might be saving a life. |
I graduated school in 2009, finished NYSC 2011, I went from teaching to marketing and even thought about business before God helped me in 2014 to secure a job at one of the pharmaceutical firms in Nigeria. Ever since, God has been helping my to jostle payment is debts I got into through expired products and transacting with terrible people, achieving my target (which is getting higher by the year) and constant pressure for sales every day of my life. It has been a living hell. However, I noticed most of my colleagues, those people I graduated with in 2009 have delve into different spheres of business, many make up artists, bankers, fashion designers and alot are still unemployed, only few are practicing as microbiologist. Funny enough I still see some jambites aspiring to be a microbiologist and their loving parents are supporting them going forward. I wonder why this is so, the course doesn't have a future in Nigeria and we keep producing more grads with a degree in Microbiology. If I had known I will be venturing into businesses or sales when I was writing my jamb, I would have tried to get pharmacy or med lab instead. I know if I was told back then I might not listen but one of my biggest regrets is studying microbiology. I want to beg and plead with those people nursing fantasies about the course. Please stay away, it's mainly for research laboratory scientists... Kindly ask yourself a question... How many research labs are available in your area...? |
We need to calculate well before taking the leap abroad. I have some people that travelled to UAE and came back worse |
So what does this justify? |
Hmmm, time waits for no man … while he was wooing u, |
Life issues my brother, this country is in a confused state. However, what makes you think traveling out will better your state ?… if you want to venture into business, what makes you think that is a worthy option for you? Seek the face of God, he has all the answers |

Don't Ever Give Up, From a Motor Boy to a PHD holder, Dr. Mike Olu Akinlabi is an inspiration to many young Nigerians and the world. "Despite all changes, i dedicated atleast two hours a day in developing myself. I was told several times to quit trying. I was told to stop dreaming". "In 2006, i had my first degree and graduated top of my class. In 2010, i bagged my MSc, in 2011 i also acquired my MPhil from the University of Cambridge. Now this makes you think!! …..10 years ago, a student at Harvard invited 5 people over to his dorm room to discuss a business opportunity. Only 2 of the 5 people showed up. Today those two people are Billionaires: Dustin Moskovitz $9.9 Billion and Eduardo Saverin $5.8 Billion. And the guy they met that night? None other than Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook, whose current net worth is: $35.7 Billion. There’s nothing more expensive than a missed opportunity.
