This usually happens through the female folks. They mostly use this way to get back at the man for wrong doings. It is quite rampant nowadays and marrying a lady who is a product of this syndrome is very dangerous because this has its way of repeating itself. While I was doing my devotional today. The topic was about “hate and envy”. I realized when I started read8ng through and meditating on the words I read, a brother in my former church’s image just popped up. He was one of the reasons I left the church. However, after I gave him a gift on his birthday just to free my self of the guilt of hate, I still didn’t like him. His spirit repels mine that’s why I came up with the question. Is it possible to be doing good to someone and still hate the person? |

A student studying in Russia says: The highest score for most of the exams in Russia is 5. If a student does not answer any question and returns back his exam paper blank, with no question answered, he gets 2 out of 5. In my first days at the University of Moscow, I did not know about this system and I was surprised and asked Dr. Theodor Medraev: "Is this fair that a student did not answer any question and you give him 2 out of 5? Why not give him a zero ? Isn't that the right way ?" He answered: "How can we give a Human Being a zero ? How can we give him a zero to someone who was getting up at 7 am to attend all the lectures ? How can we give him a zero since he got up in this cold weather, and used public transport and reached to do the exam in time, and tried to solve the questions ? How can we give him a zero for the nights he used to study and spent his money on pens and notebooks and bought a computer for studying ? How can we give him a zero when he left all other life styles and pursued his studies ? Here my son, we do not give a zero to a student just because he did not know the answer. We at least try to respect the fact that this is a Human Being, and he is having a brain, and he tried. Because this result which we give, is not just for the questions in the exam paper, it is also about showing appreciation and respect to the fact that this is a Human Being and deserves to have a score." Truly I cried and did not know how to respond. There I knew my value as a Human Being. Zeros can actually decrease motivation on students, and can quickly destroy them and make them stop caring about their studies altogether. One have to be careful before taking this step. Late last year due to the COVID brouhaha, it made me realize the need to have multiple streams of income. So I took a long stroll through my area meditating on what one can do to to make ends meet. I came up with the idea of a patent shop and while I was ruminating on a location I saw a family friend and I shared the idea with her and to cut the long story short her mum gave me a call that she is giving me a little space in front of their compound if I need it to build shop for me to fulfill my dream. The next step was to contact my legal practitioner and I was advised that we must have a proper agreement. I told her I will take her on the offer if we have proper agreement. She was adamant that this was not needed at first until she later agreed. Fast forward, when I finished the project, 90 percent complete I drew up the agreement. It was stipulated that the amount spent will be factored into rent and the years ran into 42 years which was duels signed by owners of the land. A month later, the eldest sister started ranting about the fact that the years was too long and before I know what was happening, they called me up that they were no more interested in the agreement anymore. Nairalanders, the building costed over a million. At this point what do I do next… because from the look of things they wanted to play a fast one on me unknowingly, thank God I did agreement with them. |

One of those things I have learnt in marriage is the fact that women are not truly submissive. They are just plainly obeying their husbands due to the situation of this country. We all know that true power will release the actual character of anybody. The situation have this country have proven to be advantageous for most men because due to the fact that they are mostly the ones bringing in the cash, women seldom don't have any choice than to obey them, I am sure if the situation of this country is better and more women are being empowered alot of them will revolt against their husbands. Most are only obedient due to the situation on ground. Can we say the economy of this country is really helping families and marriages? |

The reason is quite simple. They won’t live twice. I realized that when a loved one dies, we go ahead and open forever in our hearts page and drop accolades and notes that person would have preferred to hear while he or she is alive. I am currently married, it’s one of those beautiful things God has done for me. Mine is a miracle. I have a kid brother that gets attracted to any full blown single lady with brown skin and big boobs. This dude has practically been in like 3-4 relationships between January to June this year. He is 26, university grad but no stable job yet, still staying under his mom’s roof and yet can’t put two and two together yet and going about dating. Mine is such an unfortunate scenerio, I remember a particular night when I was courting my wife, the picture is still very much clear in my memory. I went to visit and it was getting late for me to leave, she suggested I sleep over at her dad's, I refused coz I had work to do when I get home. While we were on our way to the bus stop to pick a cab, at the tail end of the junction we noticed some group of people shouting thief, and some dudes running after another, as a sharp Yoruba boy in Jtown were Hausa was the common language, I told her and her brother that we should let em chase whoever it is they are chasing and let's just go about our business ones they run past us. Before I could say John Thomas, her brother took off after them, and those Hausa dudes left the main thief and took off after him, my dear the whole thing tired to a Roya rumble, my wife to be also took off after the idiot boy calling his name to stop running, my brother, I had to follow suit as a good brother in law to be, the boy was running as if some demons where pursuing him, he kept on running and we kept running after him till they lost hope because they couldn't catch up with Hussein Bolt. When they noticed they couldn't get him, they decended on me, I was the only foreigner in their angwa, it wasn't a joke, they started speaking profusely in Hausa language, I didn't understand what they were says and before I knew what's up, clubs and sticks descended on me, they said I muddled in between them that I was actually the thief and my brother in-law was my accomplice. I received the beating of my life that day. But all through this beatings, this girl didn't leave my side, she was taking the blows for me all through before they discovered her brother in-law hiding in the poultry and due to the rukus cause by the chase her mom came to our aid and because it was night they later discovered they were residents in the area, but before that time, they have beating me wella, I can't forget this day, these amongst many reasons is why I married my wife. We later discovered that the thief was one of those boys in the area, he ran into the area to hide and his friends used me as cover up for his acts. She took some blows for me, shielded me and made sure those dudes know I was not a thief even though I didn't hear anything they were saying... It was never a hard feeling for me to be an unaccomplished web designer, shishi I didn’t gain, it was a sense of fulfillment back then, I had this top of the world feeling that I can create something, fact that I was creative drove me and got me high atimes but this was not filling my pocket up with cash like uncle Seun spews. So on that fateful day, I boarded a bus from Osho do to surulere, dropped at one lousy bus top to attend one of those interviews I will never forget. It was my turn to go in, and when I got in I saw two goofy looking guys, they asked the usual bla bla bla questions, to cut the long story short they asked me what are the applications and codes I used to design the websites I showed them I did and I told them it was my intellectual property and I can’t share that with them only if I am guaranteed the job, and one of the dude who was the boss asked me to gerrout.
