Do not waste your time buying land or property you will lose the devaluation of the local currency is always more than the interest would you get.

2005 there was a friend of mine which had house three room duplex by that time you was offered 5 million naira which was equivalent to 38000 US dollar he did not sell the property . 2005 $1 usd was 130 naira.

Today the guy wants to sell the 3 room duplex for 15 million naira the money is only equivalent to about 20,000 US dollar.

Do never invest in something which you cannot sale it for US dollar because the devaluation of the Naira is always more that the profit which you will make the house price went up in naira by 3 times, but the devaluation of the currency came increase by 6 time which by the end of the day he is now losing massively on the sale of the property
Oh okay. Thanks fr the explanation

SUFFERInSMILIIN:
Don't even think about buying Land or investing in property it is not worth it if you buy the money right now in dollars and keep it is much better. The devaluation of the currency is always more than the price which the land goes up by.

If you go to 2005 1 US Dollar what about 130 naira so let's say you bought land for 10,000 u.s. dollar which is equivalent to 1.3 million naira today you have to sell the property for 8 million naira to make the 10,000 u.s. dollar. This is the main reason why Nigerians abroad are no more buying property in the nation the devaluation of the currency erode your investment
This your explanation dey somehow kindly expatiate better

Elders of Nairaland UK Branch
Long story short
Naso dem say its better to convert from tier4 to 2
We did the needful as usual via care support work and of course not free.

Started work in December, was given sponsorship in Jan after a month, applied in Feb ending and got our brp.

Brethren I discovered oga Don score goal, we didn't plan for it, from calculations na that time way it snowed heavily and and and and...

We are 5weeks preg, informed MD my fellow naija but instead got threatened that sponsorship will be withdrawn because we concealed the preg to collect COS.
We should have halt the COS processing.
Is this how it works here?

I still do not understand, I should have aborted? coz of work? Or the law restricts me from taking in. He said, he will speak to his lawyer and that he doesn't want to involve the home office (home office sabi I am married nah, dem get our data) that do we know what it means if he involves them?
That we should seat to discuss and negotiate way forward. (I don't know what he wants to propose)
I even accepted to forfeit maternity pay (though he no dey pay self) and the rest of it infact I am still willing, eager and strong enough to continue working until about 8th month or even more...he now wants to cancel my shifts... this Ukay way bills yakpa...

Great elders abeg make una choke mouth for the matter, what una advise make I do also I hearsay gomenti dey give palliatives for preg women for some months...how do I go about it or is it one of the public fund? I no wan hear pim when it's time for ILR

Una thank you in advance
Congratulations to your hubby fr scoring a 40-yard free kick goal

pappilo:
I went through the same shit 4 years ago. This was with a woman I came to the UK with on the same plane 20 years prior. We were only so young and went through everything together. We knew each other's secrets. Everything!

Although the live had fizzled out we still kept a united front for the sake of the kids and we needed each other financially as were used to a certain standard of living. When this woman did a BA course and landed a job that doubled her salary, I became an obstacle and she showed me pepper.

3 days after I left the house, this woman brought her boyfriend to the house and he was busy sucking her kitty in the bathroom with my children in the house (found this out in texts messages collected during disclosure)

This woman and her boyfriend show me pepper. Dem drag me reach crown court with jury trial but man buss case! 6 counts and all not guilty. Do you believe this woman came to court to testify against me on behalf of her boyfriend. She was ready for me to go to prison because it was claimed I assaulted her boyfriend and smashed up his car.

I sabi this woman secret o and could have finished her life in this same UK but I could never bring myself to repay her evil with evil. This is where men differ from women. She was ready to finish me totally by somebody up there no gree am

Today I am living my best life and wouldnt have it any other way. Too many women in my life professing their love but I don overwise. Dem sister don show me as e dey go.

If the biyatch is reading cah I know she is on Nairaland; Please clear out the dirty plates from under your bed and stop wearing one Primark thong for 10 years. Pata wey dey change from black to dark brown to red to camoflague
I read about your ordeal in the other thread. Thank God fr your life. I am so happy for you.

justwise:
1. Is unlikely that NHS will be recruiting social/health workers from redlist countries.

2. This will not affect those with COS already

3.No it will not affect those awaiting visa decision
What’s the difference between NHS and care homes? Kindly educate me brother
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by phenzy(m): 5:24pm On Mar 28, 2023
Tutu82:
I am responding to your question like you asked that there is a documents circulating and Nigeria alongside Ghana and other 53 countries are classed as red because we have a need for healthcare man power in our country.

Only about 5 on the red list are non Africans that is Yemen,Samoa,Kiribati,Micronesia and Afghanistan.

This affects Nurses ,Doctors, social workers etc.

It means a Nigerian can only make a direct application to a job advert for example with the NHS and be employed if successful.He/she/them cannot be actively recruited by an agency or it would contravene the code of practice.

Nigeria can become Amber if the Uk government has a discussion with the Nigerian government.

Hope this makes some sense phenzy.
Thanks fr the explanation, ma.

IOM center ikeja or Q-life family clinic VI ? though it seems Q-life family clinic is cheaper but I really don’t know which of them is more stress-free
