ionsman: This subsidy issue will soon be discovered to be a scam. ...It will definitely be discontinued at the appropriate time....
You miss Gej for increasing Subsidy fee from 300 billion to 1.3 trillion? Well done o See yourself. Your fail to understand before opening your mouth. GEJ witnessed the highest rise in oil price hence the highest subsidy margin paid. OBJ paid 500bn per anum when crude was at average of 50usd. Yaradua's short tenure saw subsidy at 1trn per anum. GEJ'S team (Sanusi and Okonjo Iweala) advised removal and we cried foul. Now just a 5usd increase in oil price is leading to 40 Naira increase in subsidy. This subsidy payment need to stop. But so does blind statements like yours. |

ugojamali: Which previous posts? Faith? This thread is not about religion. Religion has nothing to do with this economic meltdown. Heritage? Well it's my heritage. What's yours? Illegal refineries? I didn't say that. Someone else did. It is good you hold you true identity dearly. You need not say a word more. Now stop claiming what you are not before you incur the punishment of any deity you hold dear. |

ugojamali: Uhm...I don't understand. Who do I hate again? 1. Your previous posts betray you. You are a Muslim. And staunch supporter of Buhari. Very few South Easterners are. 2. If you are from South East, which state? No deny your faith and heritage o If you tell me about illegal refineries down south south then you would have made much sense. But you had to drag your enemies in |
Politics › Re: At Last Fuel Scarcity Hits The South East by PHfinest(m): 3:05pm On May 25, 2015 |
ugojamali: Just yesterday most south easterners were boasting that we would not experience scarcity. Many Noelle names were mentioned. Others bragged that we have hundreds of illegal refineries therefore scarcity would never hit us. Many said we were all so hard working and industries and had the brain to change water into fuel.
Fast forward to this morning. Awka capital of Anambra. I bought fuel two days ago at 140 per litre. Also two days ago half the filling stations in awka had fuel do I can understand why many of us developed that false sense of security. This morning I went out to buy real...
All those stations were closed down. There was just no fuel. It took me a thirty minutes drive round the city to find fuel. I finally found it close to the anambra/Enugu border. The queue was massive.
And the cost? 170 per. Relatively cheaper you'd say... Across the road another station was selling but at 200 per. I got a frantic call from a friend who told me he bought for 250 in some village off Awka. He had to travel all the way to that village to get fuel.
I asked a friend in asaba. He said they now buy for 240 but it's so damn hard to get.
Scarcity is hitting all of us. We in the South East should not brag about immunity. We are all doomed. illegal refineries in the South East? You just hate us and for sure your are neither in the South East nor from there. |

Spyder880, what if you create another thread for the ogbeke side? You may reduce the number of plots to cater for only the few that may want to invest there. Since the risk is high, we can reduce the exposure
Just as you have several building threads. |

Ok
Subsidy was removed in 2011....Nigerians (led by opposition) said no way.
Several billions went missing via subsidy....Nigerians (led by opposition) said it was wastage.
Nigerians elect new government inclined to removing the subsidy
The president helps the incoming government to start saving early and removes it...Nigerians (led by incoming government) is now saying no way.
This is what you get when your leaders go about making brainless promises without knowledge of realities on ground.

@macjive, As @naijafutbol pointed out, you could raise these points without downplaying thread owner's intelligence.
Back to topic. Spyder880 why don't you move mall to plot 38 or within plot 18 to 21. 56 to 58 can contain nursery, kiddies play area etc.
What about the inner roads, drainage and electrical cabling. To what extent will they be done?
As regards boulevard, this is debatable as I for one don't see the relevance in a quiet housing estate. |
