seborrhic: I hate it when people attack him with the nepotism and clannishness tag, neglecting a wider and far more underlying issue;his monumental, gross and crass incompetence. It serves him well when his lopsided appointments are just the focus of the discourse, while he continues taking Nigeria backwards in all spheres of life. Honestly, that GEJ can be said to be better than any Nigerian leader, shows the monumental hole Buhari has dug Nigeria into. GEJ is better than all the leaders Nigeria has ever had! It is ethnic/religious extremists or ignorant people that think otherwise. |

Politics › Re: N4.5tr Budget Deficit May Trigger Fresh Recession - Zainab Ahmed, Minister Warns by PHijo(m): 9:54am On Jun 02, 2020 |
The finance minister, Zainab Ahmed and the petroleum minister, Muhammadu Buhari share one crucial trait in common. Incompetence, with their incompetence a recession is sure, a depression is near certain.
If you ask any of both how they intend to re-flate the economy you will get no coherent response.
I used to think Kemi was a bad pick for the position of finance minister. Zainab is even worse! |

If these idiots protest environmental degradation and police brutality in Nigeria, it would have been a better place by now! Bunch of bigots with misplaced priorities. Hypocrites!!!!!!! You protest against the same things you tolerate in your country. How are you different from the white racists? Their motivation is racism, yours is ethnicity. |

kehinde1588: Can the North stand and win alone?
Even with their number, they can't win a United South. So why the over hyping?
You guys need to stop overrating the North. We know they have the number but has there been any election since 1999 a particular region did it alone without the support of another. Definitely NO.
El-Rufia himself knows power is returning to South come 2023. As far as APC exists as a party, they are returning power to the South.
I am super confident that if the ticket eventually goes to Tinubu, he will defeat anyone from the North considering his political network across all regions.
Politics is not played on social media and not by talking carelessly like El-Rufia has been doing. The real players don't make noise. It is the West we have to blame primarily for the hype. I wonder how we can have a "united South" in 2023 after what transpired in 2015. Can Tinubu shelf his ambition in support of an Igbo or Niger Deltan? Will the Yoruba support that candidate? Please the likes of Okorocha, Amaechi, Ngige, Akpabio etc are ruled out. Instead of those men people will probably prefer voting Fulani candidates. |

Romance › Re: No Sex Before Marriage Is A Scam by PHijo(m): 10:17pm On May 30, 2020 |
BobbyHammar: Anybody who still believe in the scam of no sex till marriage needs to get their head checked. If only you know how many marriages have been destroyed or are still suffering because of this, you will never think of falling for such a scam.
What baffles me is those who keep going to church but yet don't know anything about bible and will keep deceiving themselves that sex before marriage is a sin (WHICH YEYE SIN).
Many will say it's formication but they don't even know the true meaning of fornication as referred to in the bible. Take for example when Joseph was dating Mary, yes we agree she was still a virgin because it was their own decision not to have sex yet but how many people realized that there were other young women that existed then as well. Many had boyfriends too and some had sex with their boyfriends while some didn't because Mary wasn't the only virgin.
The bible never condemned those that had sex with their boyfriends before marriage but it was just the divine choice of the Father to select a virgin rather than a lady that had sex already.
Let's stop all these brohaha low African mentality of calling sex before marriage a sin. God only sees a clean and a pure heart, not who had sex when or how. You all should better respect yourself and save the doctrine of marriage by testing the waters to ensure you are ready to sail on that water for the rest of your life. Not after marriage you start looking for divorce because penis is too big or too small or maybe Virgina is too tight or too wide or its always one minute sex.
Haba. You shouldn't quote scriptures wrongly to suit your purpose! Those with discerning spirit will know those that are compatible with them. Some get those they think are compatible with them sexually, yet such relationships end. Premarital sex does not guarantee fulfillment. |

TonyeBarcanista: My Teacher use to say:
"Do the right thing if you don't want your enemies to get at you, and do the right thing if you don't want your friends to feel embarrassed while defending you. In all situation, do the right thing" In as much as that is true, people can come up with false claims just to ease him out of office. They will exonerate him once they've gotten who they want in. Do you know the ex president of Ivory coast was not found wanting after many years of legal wrangling? The primary objective, his removal was achieved. These are some of the reasons why Africa should be truly independent but people are short sighted. Like you rightly pointed out, the AFDB's assets were mismanaged in the past, leading to it's near collapse and the involvement of non-African shareholders. |
Politics › Re: Opinion: USA Is In Order To Demand Independent Probe Of Akinwunmi Adesina by PHijo(m): 12:01pm On May 30, 2020 |
TonyeBarcanista: True. You see for me, I am not interested in their political game but in the real truth.
Why should an organization not have place for independent probe as a form of checks? This same thing happened in FIFA.
For many years the top echelon at FIFA were accused of corruption but FIFA's internal bodies (appointed by same guys) keep clearing them of wrongdoing. It took many Years before neutral organisation stepped in, and led to the fall of Blatter, Platini and other top guys at FIFA. The political game interests me a lot! It will shape the future of Africa in no small way. I do understand your stance but when it comes to things like this, I look at the broader picture. |

TonyeBarcanista: If you believe in accountability you will face accountability and not bambooze us with conspiracy theory
AfDB started as solely African but thr corrupt African elites couldn't manage it, the body went broke and open its doors for everyone We are basically saying the same thing. The difference is on the approach. |
Politics › Re: Opinion: USA Is In Order To Demand Independent Probe Of Akinwunmi Adesina by PHijo(m): 11:15am On May 30, 2020 |
TonyeBarcanista: Sorry bro, what I'm saying is that we should demand independent probe to ascertain facts and not be swayed by deception of the corrupt elites.
See, you may not like Trump just like the mainstream elites hate him even in America, but what you can't take away from him is his zero tolerance towards nonsense. He calls bluffs irrespective of whose ox is gored and gives no apology over it. This is leadership!
That is leadership!!! Imagine if Nigeria has such a leader that demands real accountability and transparency... In as much as I believe in accountability, I don't think that is the primary motivation. They want to ease him out to bring in somebody who would protect their interests. In the first place, African governments should never have had foreign shareholders. There are other ways the finances could have been raised without giving out equity. That in my opinion, was a fatal error that may haunt them for decades to come. |

My primary problem with the debt are twofold. No exist plan and no effort to increase productivity significantly.
Any loan that cannot repay itself shouldn't be taken in the first place. The assumption oil money would for debt is an assumption built on very faulty foundation.
The prospect for people from 45 years down is scary. Buhari is messing things up and all some can do is cheer him on. |
