Once again I am tasking you to post links to pages where Buhari was reported in quotes to be hating on Christians or making speeches that preach hate on Christians.

Please don't paste stories of people's accounts but direct speeches made by Buhari.

That presidential move was lofty, dumb and pure political miscalculation. Go nd try your lot in Sokoto.
So long GEJ became president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria even a Councillor in my local ward can aspire to that position.

GEJ diminished the seat of the president of this once great republic.

So if a poll is organised on nairaland and Buhari wins, that will prove he is more popular?Bros,i'm an objective person.Though Barcanista did something similar (https://www.nairaland.com/1998766/nairaland-progressives-lets-endorse-muhammadu )and it proved buhari wasn't popular even on nairaland. But I won't base my argument on that.
If you have read the article and were open-minded you'll understand why. It's not about TAN.Or do i need to be a TANist to know,as a christian, that Buhari doesn't love Christians by his utterances and body language? If an igbo man for example believes that buhari hates igbos, can you stop him. Please appreciate that people are entitled to their sentiments.
The articles spells out why BUHARI HAS BEEN LOSING not what you want us to see.Tnx
Brother leave all propaganda and politicians alone. I have tasked someone who labored for days in vain to show us quoted context where Buhari made several speeches from any online source. Buhari has been loosing through rigging and rigging alone. That's why I used free and fair in my comment. As it stands today many Christians will vote their conscience and not religion. Unfortunately, these qualities, though not enough, are lacking in those people only mouthing Change. That said. The point many of you fail to see is that people have continually questioned the so-called integrity of Buhari.
Let's analyse these "qualities"
Are Boko Haramist emotionally and physically ready to unleash mayhem? Are they capable and willing ?Will they selflessly die for the cause of trying to Islamize Nigeria?Have they been tested by their paymasters? Can they be trusted to make the north east ungovernable by those who sent them?
The point my brother is that the devil can also like many politicians promise Heaven on Earth.Let's look at the Messenger before considering the message.Change need more than those things you mentioned.Tnx

Nigerians will continued to be given reasons why Buhari cannot rule yet they have never given us reasons why they have failed serially to drag us from the dungeon we have found ourselves since 1999. Give me 20 reasons why Buhari is un-electable and I will give you a hundred reasons why GEJ have no business being there. If I may ask which Nigerians rejected this Buhari, TAN members and beneficiaries of the current heist going on? Whether anyone likes it or not Nairaland is a microcosm of Nigeria, let Seun organize a coordinated opinion poll on Buhari and GEJ for 24hrs and let's see the outcome. Am a Niger Deltan, even in my next life I will choose a Buhari over a GEJ any day anytime and I know many who will do same.

pls show us the spread of his followership then I'll explain why Buhari can never win.
If I go all ahead to tell you this will turn to an essay. As it stands the many followers of GEJ are either from the Southeast, Niger Delta or PDP members around the country which are a negligible few among 170 million Nigerians and few paid agents. It doesn't require rocket scientists to know many Nigerians are fed up with the PDP led federal government today. In 2011 GEJ rode on the sentiment of no shoes/humble background but please agree with me without bias that uncommon sympathy died long ago. Many people who thought he will fight corruption and establishment thinking he was not one of them have become very disappointed. Suffice it to say many fall into this category. The only tool the PDP cum thievery elite uses against Buhari is gradually crumbling because it is becoming stale and many are getting wiser. Look at the state of our economy today and ask who brought us here if it's not the same PDP that you expect Nigerians to thumbprint for come Feb next year. Peep into how EFCC fared in the past 6 years and tell me of any low, medium or high profile government corruption case that have passed reading stage in any court even when majority of us know corruption is what has brought us the erstwhile giant of Africa to our knees. Do you know the so called transformation TAN has been parading about will be washed away like the sands of time just few months of GEJ leaving power with the culture of impunity and free for all looting he is leaving behind? Nigerians except religious, regional and political bigots, once again who are negligible few are tired of the many lies of the PDP and Jonathan will gladly vote them out of power next year. Guess you must have heard of the phrase that says only a fool will do same thing same way all the time and expect different results. Just let INEC conduct free and fair elections next year and watch Jonathan pack his baggage out of Aso Rock and see how Buhari move in if his party gives him their ticket.

From the stables of the fearless pastor. Hear him...make your input.

Pastor and founder of Latter Rain Assembly in Lagos, Pastor Tunde Bakare, on Sunday, accused former president Olusegun Obasanjo of being responsible for the problems bedevilling the country.

He made this accusation while speaking with newsmen, shortly after delivering a speech, entitled: “The Nigeria of My Dream” at a well-attended church service to celebrate his 60th birthday.

According to him “He who wants to hear, let him hear. I am going to drum what needs to be drummed. I think Obasanjo needs to hear some things before the house collapses on him, because he is responsible for the problems we face now.”

Speaking further, Pastor Bakare, who is also the convener of Save Nigeria Group (SNG), expressed his fears about the possibility of holding 2015 general election.

Bakare, who insisted that the current security challenges in the country did not support holding a nationwide poll in 2015, declared that “it appears we are putting the cart before the horse. With the situation in the country, I do not think our primary concern should be 2015 elections.

“But you cannot win with politicians. If you ask this government to please gather people around and let us have an interim arrangement, they would be shouting elongation. If we go to elections, there would be trouble. So, I think some people who are capable and have integrity and character may have to be summoned to say, let us sit down and think of the way forward

“We need a transition government and the time frame should be two years, maximum. We need it like yesterday and believe me, there would be foreign power that would help us also, because we have gone outside the shore of this country also to talk to people who know the real clear present danger that face us.

“We need it like yesterday, but you can’t force your will upon people. He who has ear to hear, let him hear and if he doesn’t hear, a constitution that would not bend will break,” he said.

While speaking on the ‘presidential seat’, Bakare said no part of the country was born to rule as being propagated by a section of the country. He maintained that no one is a slave to the other.

“Nothing stops us from having six Dubai in the six geopolitical zones of Nigeria if we have thinkers; if we have men who know how to think through and who can pre-engineer the whole process in a short while.

“Dubai, once upon a time came, to Nigeria to borrow money. Once upon a time for three years, we paid the whole civil service fee of Trinidad and Tobago. There would be no Angola today if Nigeria did not sow a seed of $30 million.

“We have made other people rule and now I challenge the people today to rise up. Let the best, the brightest, the fittest and the most competent accept responsibility and let’s put the thinkers into power,” he counselled.

Oshiomhole: Six Years After
ON November 12, 2008, Adams Eric Aliyu Oshiomhole, was sworn in as Governor of Edo State. It was a special moment for the state and its people for several reasons. Remarkably, it was the culmination of the resilience of the people, who voted and stood by him when anti-democratic forces tried to rob him of the mandate they gave willingly to him, and the judiciary that resisted machinations of the powers-that-be to give a verdict in favour of a popular choice.
The nation became better for it as the judiciary stood resolute on the side of the people. In addition, it was a turning point for the entire state as it marked the beginning of what is now popularly referred to as the ‘new narrative’.
While making the solemn pledge to turn the state around like never before, he underscored his desire to be a people’s governor by seeking their consent to be referred to as “Comrade- Governor.”
Uniquely, his pledge was an unambiguous desire to give the state a fresh breath in terms of people-oriented, physically verifiable development projects that will stand the test of time. The pledge became necessary because the supposedly democratic administrations before him ruined and wrecked the state economy without any attempt to upgrade basic public infrastructure on the pretext that the state had no money.
A few years into his administration, Oshiomhole eroded the ‘no-money’ myth by proving to be a man of his words. Decades after the historic performance left by Dr Samuel Osaigbovo Ogbemudia, who, as military administrator of old Bendel State, left a telling record of infrastructural development, Oshiomhole recreated that long gone era as structures, after hope-rising structures began to fill available spaces in all the nooks and crannies of the state. It was not a surprise that the people decided to give a unanimous second term endorsement in all 18 local government areas despite subterranean sabotage by those put to shame by his performance.
Importantly, Oshiomhole was not given an unassailable second term approval by the people on flimsy grounds. Between his inauguration and the end of his first term, they witnessed an unprecedented, self-evident and widespread development projects spread across every sector, including economy, education, works, health, environment/public utilities, etc, in every senatorial zone, every local government area and every town. With him, the people became convinced that the state had truly become a very positive new narrative.
Before the coming of his administration, Edo State economy was in ruins. Though oil revenue was high, the greater part of whatever accrued from it found its way into the pockets of those elected by the people. It didn’t matter to them that the people they represented suffered. For instance, roads and public schools became so wrecked that an urgent surgical revival was needed to avert total collapse. Midway into the administration, roads in the city centre, including Akpakpava, Five Junction, Mission, Airport, Sapele roads, etc, became self-evident proofs that the administration meant business. Further from the capital, there are too many to be mentioned here. In addition, the administration embarked on a deliberate renovation and reconstruction of public schools, public health institutions and streets, designed and completed with covered drains, walkways, street lights, etc, also in all the 18 local government areas. The health sector witnessed the same level of turn around.
Remarkably, the administration kept the momentum despite dwindling returns from federation allocations and internally generated revenue.
With the accruing monthly allocations from the federation on the decline, from N3.8 billion to N2.8 billion, the administration took to the internally generated revenue option which moved up from its less-than-N300 million revenue before the advent of the administration to its present status of between N1.4 billion to N1.5 billion. Yet, Benin City, the state capital is about the cleanest compared to some of its neighbours with over N10 billion monthly federation account allocation.
In the education sector, the new narrative is known as the red roof revolution. Public schools in the state only compared with poultry farms before the advent of the Oshiomhole administration. At best, most of them had no roofs, making teaching and learning near impossible tasks during rainy seasons.
All that has changed as the administration went on a deliberate education rebirth policy that resulted in the rehabilitation of old and construction of new school buildings, complete with red roofs and every other facility necessary for conducive environment for learning. The new structures are found in all the 192 wards of the state. Education is not only free for both primary and secondary schools, the administration also made transportation free for all uniformed children both in private or public schools riding on the Comrade buses.
Definitely, Edo State ranks as one of the state with the best network of roads. However, they were hardly motorable until the current administration took effect. Since then, things changed for the better as roads from the capital down to the local governments have become a beauty to behold in terms of their look and functionality.
Oshiomhole has taken upon himself some ambitiously near impossible tasks and turned them around. The Azura/Edo Independent Power Project and Edo Water Storm project are obvious examples. The former is a $100 million project and the first Nigerian power project to benefit from the World Bank’s risk guarantee status, covered by the global bank’s Partial Risk Guarantee structure for developing needs of emerging global markets. It is very credible evidence that the state is a viable centre for global investment hob.
The latter is a vast labyrinth of huge drainage system under construction to serve as a permanent solution of the endemic drainage challenge in the state capital.
It is designed to empty the water deluge from all over the city to either the Ogba or Ikpoba River.
For all his efforts, the Benin crown prince, Eheneden Erediauwa, described Oshiomhole’s performance in the following words. “I don’t know of any governor that has developed Edo state in terms of infrastructure as Oshiomhole.”
Ernest Omoarelojiee writes from Benin City, Edo State.

Citizens Defend Yourselves From Boko Haram, Don’t Wait For Soldiers – Emir Sanusi Lamido II Calls

Make preparations for defense whatever way possible… don’t wait for soldiers to defend you – Emir
Muhammad-Sanusi-IIThe Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, has urged Nigerians to brace up to defend themselves against the extremist Boko Haram sect which has been mounting a bloody campaign against Nigerians killing, maiming and overrunning territories.

Speaking while making a closing remarks at the weekly recitation of the Holy Quran as part of prayers for peace in the country yesterday, Mr. Sanusi urged religious and community leaders to undertake the immediate task of reinventing courage in their people, particularly the youth, in preparation for self defence against Boko Haram attacks.

People must stand resolutely in the face of attack and not abandon their towns, women and children, the Emir said.

“These people”, the Emir recounted in Hausa and referring to Boko Haram, “when they attack towns, they kill boys and enslave girls… People must stand resolute. ”

He reminded the congregation of muslim clerics who came from various Islamic schools in Kano of the saying of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) that whoever dies in defence of his country, family, life or wealth is a martyr.

“People must not assume that the crisis will not reach their area,” the Emir prayed. “If it comes, “we are asking God to give us fortitude, but if He wishes to take martyrs from amongst us, we should be ready to give our lives.”

The Emir also called on the people to make preparation for defence with whatever way possible.

“People must not wait for soldiers to protect them. There are even instances where soldiers on ground ran away in the face of attack,” he said.

Since the fall of Mubi into the hands of insurgents, there have been calls from religious and opinion leaders in Northern Nigeria for people to rise and face Boko Haram without relying solely on government.

This has led to the liberation of the town early this week by hunters and local vigilantes. Also, when the insurgents moved to Gombi, they were successfully repelled the hunters.

The Emir asked hunters and experts in the area of security and defence to use their expertise in the quest for seeking the pleasure of God by employing it to end the current crisis.

The Emir expressed the hope that the insurgents would be defeated, affirming, “God will grant us victory over them.”

APC found themselves on the defence in this. PDP started gaining political advantage from BH when they went to town painting Buhari and other members as sponsors of BH. This guy will take us to just one place and that is NOWHERE. India is worshipping idols but they already have their spacecraft on Mars. What of China? What of Germany? What of France? Their leaders use their brains to work and don't talk bullshit all the time. Pray, pray, pray, when are you going to ever do anything reasonable? Pray, stealing is not corruption. Pray, corruption is the order of the day. Pray, electricity is worse than what it was in 1999.
Pray, over 100,000 barrels of crude oil are stolen under your black hat every single day. Pray, Nigerian soldiers have turned to frightened rabbits defecating in their camo. Pray, the air force is a huge joke. Navy, what navy? Pray, hundreds of girls have gone missing for 200 days +, it will soon be a year and you will still be telling us pray. Can't you just see your own incompetence? Pray, hospitals are bad. Pray, there is no single government paediatric centre. Not even ONE. Pray, frustrated & jobless youths die at recruitment tests & you cannot fire that bullshit-talking interior minister. The defence HQ is still studying that Shekau video ba? The downed fighter jet nko? The beheaded pilot? You expect his family to be clapping or praying for you, right? The $15 million was for which arms? Voicemail.
Pray, where is your Stella Oduah & the BMWs? Pray, where is Maina & the embezzled pension funds? Pray, old soldiers are protesting in Abuja for their money. Pray, parts of Nigeria are now Islamic terror enclaves. Can't you just look within you, summon your innermost powers & inspire the entire nation? Is that not what Alexander the Great would have done? NO. YOU CANNOT OFFER WHAT YOU DON'T HAVE. Pray, your wife is staying in Abuja & was collecting salary from Bayelsa for work she never did. Pray, your party has plunged the nation into more darkness. Pray, you keep fumbling every day. Pray, pray, pray. You are so monotonous, uninspiring, uncreative, unimaginative and boring. I don't hate you but I totally detest your incompetence & like millions of Nigerians, we cannot tolerate you a day extra as the pilot of this country once your tenure expires like Cowbell meulk without NAFDAC number.
You do not have the courage of a Thomas Sankara. We all know you cannot die for this nation. You said it yourself that if you go to Chibok, they will just kill you. So Nigerians living there nko? Who will protect them? A whole commander-in-chief of Africa's fourth largest armed forces. That was a big disgrace on TV. You lack the vision of a Kwame Nkrumah. You do not possess the cerebration of Julius Nyerere. You lack the selflessness of Nelson Mandela who was just 44 when he gladly went to jail for his people. Or you want to tell me you can stay locked up in Kirikiri for 27 years just for Nigerians? I pray Even your Oga DSP Alamieyeseigha had to jump bail in London. And yet, your sycophants want us to believe you are Mandela.
You are not a Man not to talk of a Dela.
You just can't pretend to be a Patrice Lumumba. You do not have the burning passion of leaders who die for their countries. You cannot lead a war to save your own people or rouse your own armies to glory but you can eat with billions and splash gold on weddings or coat your jets with it. Your wife even had the audacity to spend N500million on a thanksgiving after she returned from Germany for treatment although you said you revolutionized the health sector in Nigeria. Who are you deceiving? You do not have the seductive warmth of a Gamal Nasser. The oratory powers of Tafawa Balewa or Samora Machel you cannot summon. The boldness of Ahmadu Bello you don't have & the resilience of an Awolowo or the sagacity of an Azikiwe is not just in your nature. Seretse Khama Ian Khama is the president of Botswana but Good Lord, that's a LEADER! ROCK-SOLID LEADER. You might want to call him for some lessons. You are holding this nation back and we will not allow that continue. Even the monkeys of Idanre are now smart, they use their own mobile phones.
You think you can bobo us with all this religious blackmail? It will not work. Or is Oritsejafor sleeping or what? Aso Rock chaplain nko? All those clerics you carry around all the time are not close to God enough or what? If I will pray any prayer, it is for this great country to get rid of thoroughly incompetent & divisive leaders like you & never witness this kind of disaster in leadership EVER again. You were totally not ready for this kind of job & we will not allow you to continue gambling with our own future and destinies. Let your supporters keep crying & screaming, we will not be deterred until you go back to your village (you are even lucky because your defence chief has no village to even return to) or exile, whichever you so choose. I will not mention the third option which I know you are very afraid of. Our destinies are far more important that your personal ambition. We have had enough of your manipulations, deceit, lies & outright mischief & an even greater crime of trying to use religion to cover it up. Your trick will not work this time. We are waiting for the story you will tell us on November 11 when you will you open your mouth and tell us to give you four more years so you can ruin us completely, maybe you still don't have shoes, you will tell us. Is the US the only arms dealer in the worldhuh

All I see is a government so desperate to sell to the electorates some reason why the war is not being won. Watch out, when campaigns come full swing, this is all we will be hearing!! They will blame the inability of our troops to make gains on the refusal of US to sell us arms!! Then they can even step it up a little by associating the opposition with this refusal.

Shame.
Didn't you hear Akpabio saying GEJ will never hand over to the sponsors of BH? Today, they call APC the sponsors of BH tomorrow they welcome their decampees into their fold with pomp and pageantry. The next time you hear them calling the whole people of Northern Nigeria parasites and with born-to-rule mentality. Nobody they have not blamed their failures on, only God. I will actually wonder and believe Northerners are really cows if any of them cast their vote for this man who have so sponsored these incessant verbal assaults and insults against them including their past and present leaders.

I have a rope on standby for you come 2015, you can hang yourself as high as you want.

By next year Nigerians must have endured him for 6 years. It won't be too difficult to endure 4 more locust years. The only thing that is sure is that it won't add any value to the worthless life you parade.

Almajiri your inanity will not change the variables on the ground. Just a common announcement has caused this level of bitterness in your soul, what will his victory come Feb 2015 do to you.

The almajiri's skull is better than your demented skull. Pathetic is a noble word to describe your life.

Because Nigeria is bigger than all of us. Something most you rodents in APC cannot understand.
I guess Jonathan's ambition is bigger than your miserable failed life so it's not out of place if you feel it's bigger than the lives of the future leaders that were cut short yesterday. Just wait till you make kids so you can get this into your miserable head.

How many People died in Nigeria yesterday? How many will die tomorrow and next week. Should this nation stop functioning because people are dying?
True, even if you or any TAN member die just like the ones that died in Liberation Stadium during his first campaign GEJ will not give a damn. After all no amount of blood is worth his ambition like he said.
