mrofficial: Don't mind those deluded fools. I was in South Africa recently which was my first time. Landed at O.R Tambo Intl Airport. None of the Intl. airports in Nigeria can even stand comparison with it. The citizens of Nigeria should wake up every morning and weep at the situation of this country called Nigeria.Only in Nigeria citizens adore and give big names to people who subject them to abject poverty and lack of visible infrastructures plus communities awarding chieftaincy titles to political robbers. The political elite in Nigeria deserves just one thing other than a big name: The hangman noose |
NosaHenry: SA think that by stealing our money they will pass us as the no1 economy in Africa? No way. What further explanation do they want when the Nig govt already told them that the transaction was authorised by it. SA has been hating Nigeria since 1914Have you heard the words CAMRY BIG FOR NOTHING before? Keep deluding yourself with big economy whilst majority sleep in darkness with no food, access to clean water, decent schools and malaria treating hospitals. Meanwhile 99% of those in government own the best houses, cars, send their wards abroad for school and fly private jets. No1 economy indeed. Well, coupled with the fact that an untamed pastor in Nigeria just killed almost a hundred of their citizens this could pass for somewhat of a compensation. |
Mynd44: I hope this is not to spite CAN else it will be very sad and pointlessSo, you would rather CAN is allowed to continue to desecrate and deflate the tiny remnants of Christian values in Nigeria? Every right thinking Christian folk should know CAN as it is presently constituted is a quasi-political party cum gangster organization that should be rescued if we want to be taken seriously. No effort in doing this should be seen as pointless. |
Sincere9gerian: Tinubu, Buhari and boko haram you guys are defending with all your lives are laughing at your collective idiocy You are so irredeemably corrupt that your blood can be extracted to make vaccines against corruption yet you go by the name Sincere9gerian. I wonder how you will tell your kids about morals when you constantly stand the truth on it's head just for stipends. Your generation is doomed. |
gboss4sure: The sezied cash event made me realize how foolish and daft APC and its supporters are and I have resolved never to engage them in any debate. They have no single brain.Mr Truck Haulage, even the Oritsejafor and GEJ you guys are sheepishly defending with all your lives are laughing at your collective stupidity in this matter. Your analysis also laughs at you and wishing not a so stupid person dropped it here. When this jet was bought the world knew it was wholly paid for by GEJ and Company. Now we have seen the use. You, crazy Fani and all others should save us this cock and bull stories. |
aljharem: U.S AGENTS EXPOSE BOLA TINUBU'S DRUG TRAFFICKING DEALS What hypocrisy aljharem? This same Saharareporters you guys criminalize for reporting the ocean of ills of the Jonathan's government but when their reportage favours you, you find it very easy to quote and believe them. This is ludicrously shameful. Please agree with all of us Sahara demystify the secrecy of governance in Nigeria and they should be commended for a job well done and encouraged to do more. |
donmalcolm21: Sometimes I feel like strangling the reporters for SR because of their biased reporting. Why should Nigeria buy arms in the black market when its not under any sanction. SR need to tell the truth and anyone that belives that shit will belive that the MuM did not give birth to him or her. Plz don't quote meWent up to search for Sahareporters as the source of this news and I found Reuters. Or was it changed? In case you really wanna know Sahara's reportage on this see it here http://saharareporters.com/2014/09/15/arms-smuggling-jet-caught-10million-south-africa-linked-can-president-ayo-oritsejafor You have been quoted. |
Please can anyone confirm to me which of the CONTRACT FREE American network Iphone 6 will work on worldwide SIMS without any form of unlock? |
emmatok: You ignorantly attacking WS for standing up for Nigerians. Just leave that guy. I never even intended to puncture his conjectures. Everyone know they lie to the envy of the devil. No administration in the history of this country has seen a tenth of the lies and denials we have seen from 2011 till date. All to glorify one man, GEJ. |
Billyonaire: Be careful what you asked for.Brother, I do not worship Wole Soyinka neither am I his Voltron. But I know he has integrity that surpasses that of your benefactor GEJ in million bounds. I know you hate him so much for taking on your madam albeit saying the bitter truth in a crude manner, yet he passed a viable message. He served in Babangida's government meritoriously and came out unscathed. It is a rare feat for a critic of his stature. You will pass through several reincarnations to be able to achieve the integrity and worth of that man you so loathe. |
Billyonaire: In essence, Wole Soyinka sees nothing good in every administration. He blinds his sights to the good and shines them like old school toyota head lamps to search for unfounded misdemeanors. I chose to see the good and make no blind accusations without application of native intelligence.Even if he says GEJ is the president of Nigeria you will call it unfounded. Fela Anikulapo Kuti saw nothing good with governance in Nigeria and many other African countries yet he had fans and friends all around the world for just one reason: He stood for truth and chose to be on the side of the people only. I can bet you started hating Kongi because he criticizes GEJ and all his cohorts. You can do me a favour by pasting here your bile against him before GEJ mounted the saddle. |
Billyonaire: Wole Soyinka is a literal icon, but when it comes to department of common-sense, that man scores below a 17yrs old. When I need lessons on English and Poetry, he is my hero, but when it comes to life lessons, marriage and common-sense, then he is not savvy on those departments.Marriage has no business with good governance Billyonaire. Wole Soyinka and many others have been thorns in the flesh of never-do-well leaders from time and they will continue to be till they die. They do not need your approval to do that. They did it for this same son of a fisherman you die for today if not he wouldn't have smelt that seat. He was as clueless just as he still is today until this same people who you so loathe came to his rescue. Cut these people some slack and let them do what they know how to do best. |
Billyonaire: You made no sense. You seem bitter.Only people who support your paymasters and eat from same pot with you make sense to you. If wole Soyinka cannot make sense to you who am I? |
Billyonaire: The Question that should be asked firstly, in any intelligent discourse, ofcourse, should be; Is Sheriff, truly a Boko Haram sponsor ? Is it just speculation in the cook books of the opposition ?Firstly, i agree with you common sense is not always common if not you will know Nigeria cannot afford another 4 years of Jonathan and his gang whether he is a son of a fisherman or a fish magnate. lastly, what the likes of Wole Soyinka see lying under their beds you and all your corruption transmutational agenda partners will never see from Everest. Jonathan is even better than all past and present living and dead world presidents to people like you who wine and dine in sycophancy. Nigeria will surely survive this current gang as it did the Aondoakas and the Turais. |
sCun: looking a the pic below, it is 100% clear that Sheriff was part of the team WELCOMING Jonathan not part of the Presidential entourage. So the Presidency's version of him actually being in Chad before the is true. How dumb are you? Is this not evident that GEJ sent his new MAN FRIDAY SHERIFF as part of an advance party to Chad to prepare for his visit hence his presence at the meeting? |
Rexxie: Big foool..otu'oke nlanlan niyen tioba mo...I can swear your old man in the village will do better than GEJ with his standard 6 certificate. As I speak to you Abacha is seriously turning in his grave at the level of sycophancy prevailing now courtesy of this man. How dare Jona surpass his records in this regard? The ATM in Aso Rock at the moment must be bigger than that which existed in his time. Even the ever recalcitrant NANS had to go and withdraw some days ago. #BringbackAbacha2015 instead |
ujoinme: No one is denying that in the short term that SA generation capacity is higher than that of nigeria, but SA energy sector is wholesomely own by the SA government and we know how inefficient govt. parastatals are and already as i pointed out earlier the SA energy sector is under a lot of strain presently and in the long term it future dosent look so bright. It's either you are dull or you just want to satisfy your e-quota to please the obvious. Everything you wrote up there makes you more myopic and tends to show you do not know the reason why you are still generating this low and your ministers still appear on TV and pages of newspapers to celebrate the shame. It's people of your ilk commanding affairs in this nation so it's not surprising why we are here and might remain here for a long time until Nigerians become wise. |
MissMeiya: I'm of the same mind. Well, time will tell. I do follow members I don't agree with on everything, as long as they are intelligent. *shrug*That's OK. The operational word there "intelligent" is relative. But it's all good, let's keep the mind always open. |
ujoinme: My point is just as we have power generation challenges in Nigeria, SA also has its own power challenges even in the midst of their enormous generation capacity. you should present the whole side of the story and not pick only parts that fits your narrative.Quite certain any heavily industrialized nation have some kind of power challenges. Mind you SA is in Africa and Nigeria have long been priding herself as the giant of Africa and recently taunting others with the biggest economy stuff via a rebased GDP. If you know the level of transparency, integrity and thoroughness it takes to generate and sustain a MW of electricity you will know where am coming from and give SA due recognition in this area. |
MissMeiya: philips70, I'm wondering why I'm not already following you...Maybe we had an e-fight. I stand no chance of being followed here on Nairaland because am almost of no political constituency. I say things as I see them not minding whose ox is gored. Nigeria can be great if the youths who own today and the near future shelve all forms of political chicanery and parochial cum ethnic interests. Nigeria needs genuine overhaul devoid of any regional, political and religious interests. I believe change agents are in Kaduna/Kano, Lagos/Oyo, Enugu/Abia, Rivers/Delta etc, in churches, mosques, juju houses and what other forms of religion around. |
Apart from the fact am no GEJ and PDP lover I make it bold to say Lamido's candidacy is DOA. He stands no chance against GEJ in PDP in a free and fair contest as it stands today. So I wonder where such apprehension is coming from. |
ujoinme: while south Africa generates more electricity than Nigeria, the country also has large challenges with electricity that has resulted in rationing of power and blackouts. here are some of the challenges from the same source as yours. Please learn to give report full reports, and not just pick and choose what fits your narrative:I do not get your point from this post. Is there anywhere in the article you posted that denied the claim SA evacuates more than 8x what Nigeria currently evacuates? How did they get there? The main import of my post is why should Nigeria be celebrating 4GW of electricity in this age when SA is producing such high amount? For your information more power comes with more presence of power consuming industries. From what you posted the problem was a temporary one. Please learn to acknowledge facts and buckle under when you have to. Something is fundamentally wrong with our power sector and it's glaring. Once again it's a shame to be on air announcing 4GW of electricity in a country of more than 170million people. Such a country have no business celebrating a bogus biggest rebased GDP when globally it's known power is the highest oil a country needs for industrial revolution and genuine economic growth. For your information apart from giving you information from Wikipedia the power sector is my constituency and have opportunities to have worked in power plants both in Nigeria, SA and many other countries around. |
4500 Megawatts which in itself is doubtful and this people still come on air to celebrate it with definite promises. In a country of about 170million people. Yet Okonjo Iweala and her friends are celebrating a rebased GDP that doesn't show any value on the lives of the citizens. South Africa with a lesser population produces about 8X this amount without all this hullabaloo. Below is Southie's production capacity.. manny4life: Hmm, I believe in one account as documented in the Bible, even the Jewish Torah suggests the same thing. Please just check and read up. We all know if the bible recorded all accounts Google's will be child's play. Am not saying the account is rock solid but it is there. |
manny4life: If it is Adamic, Adam never cheated.Bro, many accounts suggest differently. Whether true or false I can't verify but Adam had more than one wife according to lots of write-ups. |
Any man that doesn't cheat in this nude age of Facebook, Twitter, 2go, Instagram, BBM etc needs to see Dr Sanjay Gupta cos he might be schizophrenic. Apart from that it is Adamic. Women, believe otherwise, attack me and die young when your prince charming come crashing at heels of some daughter of eve. There's a trace of cheating on every man's DNA just that some are serial like the King Solomons whilst some are suppressed for some inherent reasons. Even this category have list of crushes in their minds. And this is a negligible few. Cheating is no different from the normal lies people tell daily or numerous other sins. This is from a well made published research. Attack me and continue to live in denial. |
Toks2008: This grammar too much. Abeg break it down.Paradono....You say men must cheat. You say men must be men. All men must cheat. Yet you say you never cheat once for your life. That means you be woman na..abi I lie or you dey eye one Nairaland girl? |
Toks2008: Even if he committed adultery, He is human. Gone are the days when ladies divorce based on this nonsense. Men are polygamous by nature whether pastor or not.Safe to say you are a woman? Can't seem to relate with your paradoxical texts up there. |
Arysexy: Woman must u call some one fool before u can drive home ur points?Do you have a problem calling people out for who they actually are? Since you can't let those who can do their noble duty. Let a spade be a spade. |
Edwin Clarke - Some regions do have them. Perfect example of how not to be an elder statesman. This man is a disgrace to common sense and one of the reasons we are still where we are. The youth who want a guaranteed future should rise up and kill these evil men already since BH is not doing it but rather the same impoverished masses and hapless soldiers. |
