I never said GEJ is perfect however, I know that he is better than the option we are presented with.
Both of them have records and we are comparing them. You must have failed history or you just avoided it in school. You don't need comparison to know GEJ is a shame, a monumental failure and everything a leader should not be. That nobody has been summoned with the exposee of the Ekiti debacle tell a lot about the thought process and leadership quality of the president. At least even if he is not in control he can pretend to be for 24hrs. This leadership failure rears up it's ugly head in every aspect of his government. Only reason why a Tompolo will be in charge of billions of Naira maritime survey contract yet reported million barrels of crude oil still get lost from production. If I continue reeling up his failures I will ask for extra sheets here. Next time think very well before creating useless threads. |

agabaI23: Yesterday evening I went to swim and I met a government contractor lodged in the same hotel.
He does not want GEJ back. His grouse with GEJ is that since he came, he is no longer making money the way he was making from contracts. He confirmed that though his money now comes straight into his account without interference, that he preferred the pre-Jonathan era when things were not as tight. That now, they check the validity of any contract before money is paid out and the guy dey fall hand for business.
Then I asked him what do you think in his performance in Agriculture(Adesina), he said he has done well I mentioned Aganga(Trade and investment) he said very well. he said NOI has done well too and went ahead to add the minister for works mike Onolememen. He said the man has done well too. Transport, he is impressed
And I asked, why won't you vote for him since you know all these? He said, he is not feeling him in his business. He wants things to go back to easier ways.
I told him about Sam Ohuabunwa's opening statement in his article where he said that good performance means different things to different people. He was a typical example of people who want him out because his reforms have reduced undue profit.
GEJ is fighting a hydraheaded monster. God is his strength Did he tell you about how Goodluck Jonathan, Obanikoro, Omisore, Ayo Fayose and the gang used the military of about 1006 troops to rig elections and scuttle democracy in Ekiti? I guess that's what he was telling you but you used your TANoid mind to decode something else. Egberipapa. |

Now I know why only CCTV have been giving updates of improvements and projects in the rail, airports and other areas of the country while our own journalists simply look away.
Every Nigerian have a right to his opinion and journalists are meant to be neutral for balanced reportage.
At the height of Obama woes with Economy, no journalist shouted Republican and all that.
At some point, Americans were asking Obama to provide his birth certificate and a lot of derogatory campaign followed, yet no journalist did this Mechionu, Obama don't use state apparatus to witch hunt Republicans and also don't use them to rig elections. Politics › Re: Nigerian Army Captain Who Leaked Ekiti Election Rigging Tape Speaks by philips70(m): 6:35am On Feb 07, 2015 |
vandutchboy: The audio actually indicted both APC and PDP,in the audio Fayose made some startling allegation against Fayemi and Tinubu. He said Fayemi was sharing money in Goverment House on the eve of elections and that is why he ordered General to block all access and mount roadblocks to Goverment house, he also said he wa using a Colonel in the Army Tinubu had used in the past to help him with the election. This audio is a KO for both PDP and APC. That could be punctured by any oluwole lawyer. Fayose could have said that to whip the seemingly unco-operating officer into place. At that point the officer's evil act seemed right to him. We all know Fayose lies more than Satan himself. It's only a possibility the APC could use to exonerate themselves as the PDP and Fayose cannot provide evidence for it. |

Gbawe: This is what we are saying about GEJ/PDP fans. I.e they are totally immoral and warped as the President and Party they support. There are certain situations where, for decent folks, one is left with no choice but to speak in defence of what is right and best regardless of private ethnic/religious/political affiliation. At worst, you say nothing rather than talk insensitively to defend what must never be defended by any sane and upright person.
It is only GEJ/PDP supporters who seem unable to ever be principled enough to put Nigeria first. Do they even know the implication of this for Nigeria? DO some appreciate that the ruination of our army and armed forces by partisan politics is something that is very dangerous for us all ? Is it not the corruption GEJ introduced in the army that aided the embezzlement of $18 billion disbursed over three years to fight Boko Haram? Can that deliberate action of corrupting and weakening the Nigerian army not be blamed directly for the death of thousands of Nigerians? Let them continue deceiving and lying to themselves here. Obanikoro and Fayose are continuously getting hell on Twitter as we speak. This tape must get to ICC. Enough must be enough for these animals. Lagos must not be allowed to fall into the hands of these criminals. My heart just goes to the gentleman Agbaje who fell into their boobytrap just like Ribadu. |

I watched the full video and I get the message, but that changes nothing! Be wish, Used your Brain not your Head! God Bless you! The man who got involved in the whole stuff and granted the interview is still with all body and soul plunged into Buhari's presidency. If you can believe so much of his confession why can't you believe in what he still believes? To me Tinubu is a necessary evil in our political life. He can and always be managed along the system till our political life matures. You guys cannot pretend to know him more than the people that interact with him on daily basis. I don't really care what happens to Lagos in the forthcoming elections. Even if Jimi wins so be it but Nigeria cannot afford to let the status quo remain as it is. THe era of PDP carry go where they force any tout from the garage down our throat is fastly fading away. All thanks to resilient men like Tinubu and Buhari. When the time of men like Tinubu to leave the scene comes none of his tricks will save him and trust me the time is near. Power is returning to the people it naturally belong to, THE PEOPLE. |

I have watched the full clip but the recent digger decided to expunge a part that fits into the unending PDP propaganda. You guys are really doing well in this new opposition status. Hotstew: We're the students corrupt? We're the doctors corrupt?? You folks have a way of overlooking terrible traits in buhari just because you support his candidacy. Did OBJ not rule as a military HOS? Why didn't he ban student bodies and gag the media?? This buhari is inherently evil. If he wins this election, Nigeria and Nigerians will regret it. I don't know if you were born or wise in the era you are dabbling into now. There was a clear cut difference between when OBJ assumed power as HOS and when Buhari took over. You people cannot just rewrite history because you want Goodluck to get a second tenure by all means. The government of Buhari was generally accepted when he was in power. They were highhanded because at this time indiscipline and sleaze has reached the crescendo that Nigeria was at a point of precipice. If not for the evil general who is endorsing people left right and centre now that truncated that process we will have been celebrating Buhari the way most of you talk about Jerry Rawlings today. I did not read this history, I was part of it. I still have the pictures of Buhari and IBB I drew back then as a kid who had love for fine arts in my archives. |

babyosisi: Buhari has never ruled Nigeria if not in a military regime You folks promote him as a good leader based on his military rule at the same time exonerate his ills as a military leader You can't have it both ways The only basis to judge him is to look at what he had done in the past We have no other records to rely on do we? He hasn't been a democratic leader so no one knows what type of leader he will be In other words he has no experience in ruling a democracy Therefore he is not fit to rule We are not prepared to allow a novice handle a place as complex as Nigeria He should start by vying for house of reps or as a commissioner in his home state and then for governorship in katsina so we can assess him He has no experience with democracy. What were OBJ's democratic credentials when he was elected in 1999? The man who rules over your House of Lords that make laws for democratic Nigeria is from what background? Which University of Democracy did they attend before PDP found them worthy to lord over us? Time's up for Jona girl, Nigerians' mind are made up. |

Are we still in a military government? What's more important here are intentions. Sincerity, principles and genuine intentions to punish sleaze and rid the nation of the corrupt behemoth holding our development to ransom. If you can only open your mind to see what Nigeria has and how it could have been put to good use by serious and responsible leaders.
