chuksmad:Only crooks like you will not be bittered when they hear the amount of money being frittered away by the present regime. Or you think am swayed by trains and some roads that Nigerians are not bothering to ask at what cost? Oh so because I see trains I will forget billions of Naira are being siphoned for years on a phantom subsidy on kerosine that only exists in the pockets of Jonathan and friends? Or is it the difference between budgeted $77 and $110 per barrel that they have been selling crude for years yet our ECA is still like my personal account? Continue to be happy and support blindly out of religious or ethnic considerations and let's see how that will pay your bills that will soon accumulate when you start making a large family. Jonathan and Diezani will personally open a sub-ECA for you. |
I do not trust any politician 100% but Amaechi made a very useful and sensitive submission there. "It is not about EFCC" This is very true. If St Paul is the head of EFCC and Barrabas is the president corruption will not move an inch in a country like Nigeria where the president wields more power than the Pharoahs of Egypt. I have the strongest feeling Buhari will whip strong discipline into Nigerians if elected including the likes of Tinubu who he will fall out with in no time. Nigeria is in dire need of a leader with character, discipline, austere nature, intolerant of corruption tendencies in this period of our life. Not a president who will prefer to go to Paris shopping with his aides when his children at home can barely eat a meal a day and school fees owed for 3 terms running. |
Descartes:Even with his generous C? Na wao! |
Can't wait for the elections to finish so Seun stop that banner of GEJ smiling and waving at non-existent persons. That picture is just so fraudulent. GEJ do not smile nor laugh in real life but why smile so sheepishly in that picture? Just to deceive Nigerians? I can pay how much they are paying for that banner to get it removed. |
CHM11:Even if we believe Tinubu is a thief can't common sense tell anyone this story makes no sense and just a continuation of the propaganda borne out of desperation? Does Tinubu look like an unintelligent criminal to you if he is one? Reasonable TANoids will dismiss this story or just choose to troll with it on Nairaland. It is devoid of any modicum of common sense. |
atlwireles:Sure, we all will. |
atlwireles:But if he said all this about Lagos state government and Tinubu he will be talking like an adult and you and your likes will be jumping from forum to forum creating threads about it. Everyone of us will pay in one way or the other for our actions or inactions of everything we do today. |
iiichidodo:Honestly I have been searching for a reason to believe so but trust me if I find any I will be the first to cast the stone. |
iiichidodo:As much as I commend you by agreeing that contract price inflation is a Nigerian thing whether in APC or PDP I will never agree with you on GEJ fighting corruption through any technology means. The reality on ground far says something else. GEJ has been known worldwide to embrace corruption and corrupt people. He can't just eat his cake and have it same time. Thing is GEJ himself is corruption personified. The indices from Bayelsa state government during his tenure corroborate this. I will permit you to ascribe any other credit to the president but his anti-corruption stand I will draw daggers with you. Reporter: Mr. President, why are you yet to declare your assets publicly? Goodluck Jonathan: I don’t give a damn about that. The law is clear about it and so, making it public is no issue and I will not play into the hands of the people. I have nothing to hide. I declared under the late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua because he did it, but it is not proper. It is not the President declaring assets that will change the country.” The issue of public asset declaration is a matter of personal principle. That is the way I see it, and I don't give a DAMN about it, even if you criticise me from heaven - President Goodluck Jonathan No matter where your loyalty lies ponder on those statements especially if you are hearing them from a president you do not have any allegiance to. |
iiichidodo:Electricity, Agriculture, capital projects and infrastructure, security, health, education at what cost? Do you know a project worth 10M Naira is executed at 50M in Nigeria? What happened to the Due Process office? What killed that noble idea if not intents to loot us blind without trace. Transformation is good but at what cost?? |
Businessmen all over Nairaland hustling for likes in the names of Buhari and GEJ. How much are they sold in black market? Are you aware there's a thread running this poll for a long time now that have gathered almost 1600 Likes at my last count? |
CEtoO:Olagunju not Olazungu ![]() |
bushdoc9919:Because the likes of Diezani still parades corridors of power and still wield very big influence in our political and economic life. Half measures and compromise only leads to doom and anarchy. |
The issue of public asset declaration is a matter of personal principle. That is the way I see it, and I don't give a DAMN about it, even if you criticise me from heaven - President Goodluck Jonathan What is this man's personal principle, to bankrupt Nigeria? Another 4 years will be disastrous, Nigeria cannot survive it. Vote wisely |
Frankiss44:Thanks for the clarification but you have to get it from JonaTAN's shrine. |
Frankiss44:Your stupidity wears you a seat belt with an airbag. Sambissa forest that Jonathan and Olokulade have been telling us they can't enter because they don't want to kill the girls is the same forest they are entering now 2 weeks to elections. Now everything is suddenly taking shape. PWC results, Kerosine for 50 Naira, Sambissa forest storming. I pray he releases your brains before the elections. |
Bevista:Jonathan is a very wicked man on a very coded mission, very wicked. |
babyosisi:I guess you are one of those who mistake oratory prowess for sound knowledge and an abokii as dull because of their intonation. Google and listen to him everywhere he has spoken on national issues and the economy removing your PDP and ethnic lenses to see what he knows and can speak about. This is a former president, PTF chairman and minister of petroleum resources we are talking about who performed meritoriously in all assignments. Bias is like a battery acid, it can kill in minutes. |
slimmy05:In real sense I can bet on my last kobo GEJ cannot recite "Nigeria We Hail Thee" first two lines. Buhari might not be articulate in speech but he is not dull on issues of governance. On the other hand GEJ is both not articulate in speeches and also very dull on issues irrespective of advantage of requisite and cognate experience he have had in the past 16 years in government. |
ayukdaboss:I have been echoing on Twitter since the news was aired. Anybody advising GMB to avoid the debates is an enemy of GMB and Nigeria. Is it not the same GMB who addressed OPS this morning? I believe GMB can stand any debate even if anchored and moderated by Okupe and FFK. I hope they know what they are doing even as we know the real issues in Nigeria today is not really about the debates. |
Goziesonsam:Yet this comment got 2 likes and 1 share. And you tell me Nigeria does not need a change from the status quo? Lies from the dungeons of hell! Voting a Trillion dollars into education in a GEJ's ruled Nigeria will only end in the pockets of the criminals. #NigeriaHaveDecided |
adioolayi:Lies from the pit of hell....speaking from the position of authority. |
barcanista:Hahahahahahahaha on PhD as a chieftaincy title. HRH Ngozi Okonjo Iweala I the PhD of Ogwashiukwu HRH Goodluck Ebele Jonathan I the PhD of Otuoke ..very plausible ![]() |
lalasticlala:90% of Instagram pics of Nigerian and Ghanaian girls including even first rate celebrities are Picmix'ed. |
OrlandoOwoh:Exactly why I said just 9 additional votes because even the VP candidates might decide to vote APC or abstain. They are as insignificant as the trolls on Naira to the political pendulum come Feb 14th. |
Ok, 9 candidates equals 9 additional votes for the PDP. Nothing more nothing less. |
CHPR:No basket for rotten mangoes. I call on Seun again to create a kid section, will continue calling till this site is rid of idiotic kids like this. |
elantraceey:Social media is here to stay and Segun Adewale will not stop it with his guns. Actions like these should be condemned in strong terms by all parties especially the PDP that is the largest party in Africa. After all GEJ said Nigeria is not a jungle. |
MuguliciousMUGU:You see why an ardent PDP fan in one other thread described many of you as Nairaland PDP trolls who know not what they are doing neither know what is happening in real life? It's Feb 28th your own Goodluck Ebele Jonathan is winning his Otuoke presidential election innit? |
Results of paying people to attend rallies. Even family members of your diehard opponents will be there. Things are hard, N2000 mean a lot to many impoverished Nigerians. Am in Kaduna, heard people talking about who and who got what and who shared what. That's why I maintained the crowds in the rallies doesn't tell their popularities save in some cases which is discernible to the prying minds. |
rozayx5:Be like Amaechi chance you for one girl for PH the way I dey see am. |
Janetozi:Wisdom cometh by hearing. If he keeps quiet, no one will learn from it. Secondly, I can hear guys saying why not collect then sell and give to the poor. When a man of principle does that he saliently encourages the givers of such Greek gifts. There are several ways to rid this nation of ills. Pastor Bakare is one man of God I still have utmost respect for. Fighting for the people from a position of comfort is not a virtue of the elites which he belongs to. Men of principles are very few in Nigeria of today. His refusal to hobnob with the Tinubus even with his distaste with the current government shows he is a man of character and must be commended. |
