Presidential elections are different from Governorship and local elections especially in the south. We have some APC governors in the south but at the presidential election, many of them were unable to deliver up to 20% of votes to Buhari.

In the 2011 election in the SW for instance, people voted ACN at the state and local elections but voted PDP massively at the presidential election
